These videos have inspired me to start cosplaying I’ve always teetered on the edge of wanting to cosplay and not wanting to but this has given me the push to start cosplaying
This is a suggestion from a humble watcher XD But for the puffed up wig, maybe try brushed out wool yarn next, I watched lots of doll repainting videos and they used brushed out wool to have big hair for their dolls, plus it's lighter and had so much more volume.
I Love the different approach to Lightning Cosplay! Feel like foam is a lot less intimidating than sculpting, making a silicone form, casting in Design filling with expandier foam and so on. But Booth resultiert are amasingly detailed and Show that two completly different war’s bring you to a super Good Resultat
Thank you! There are countless solutions for the same problem and I love how much freedom and creativity I have while making any costume. I also really enjoy following other artists and see how they built something I worked on as well! :)
I love, love, LOVE this! I have no idea how, but every time I watch a video or read a book of yours, I learn something new. Those tiny magnets would've saved a wig of mine two years ago (I made a bone helmet as well but of Link's Barbarian Outfit from breath of the wild), that ended up having velcro hot glued to it
I love how you bring the video. I can't wait to see the end result. I don't need to worry so mush if i don't know what I'm doing 'couse you also figure things out as they come along. Thank you for saying and repeating that in your video.
Wow, I haven't wanted this channel in a while but this makes me so happy and is very inspiring. I'm not in a position to make costumes right now but I will definitely be all over this hobby when I get my own place and enough money to make stuff
hey as long as you have some floor space like 3x3 ft and enough money for expanding foam, sandpaper and some acrylic paints you can still make sick props and weapons :)
Yeah, i can absolutely agree, that the bone armor is one of the best looking armor in the early part of the game. Amazing work. I am glad to looking forward to the next videos. (Nergigante is the best for my taste ["so much spikes"] and it´s the most amazing monster in the game.)
Holly hell, how lucky i am that I use Blender tooo, and I just planned to make some cosplay. I'm so greatful that I just found this method, I would have never thought about this.
You both have no business being so energetic, and happy! How dare you! (Just a joke, lol. You both do great work, all jokes aside. Keep it up.) Edit: would you consider doing a challenge of custom keyblade armor for a project? I love kingdom hearts, and I’m kinda interested in seeing what your possible interpretation of an original keyblade armor would be like. If not, no worries. At any rate, I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and/or night, and that you all stay cool, this summer.
Schön kämpfen😋 Just a Beautiful piece of work👌🏼 And I love the teamwork you two have. Having fun TOGETHER always comes across😉 Have an awesome day, cheers😎
Benny time and he does a really good job on air brushing and I love how this turned out,so this is a great reference because I plan on doing paine berserker costume from FFX-2.
Very fun video! So much to see and learn. Cheers! Svetlana, when it is required to make a foam piece firm/strong from the inside (the horns especially), have you considered spray foam insulation from a hardware store? It is inexpensive, expands immediately, instantly dries and can also be shaped. Also, it's extremely light weight.
I tried expanding foam as well, but I was always worried that it deforms the foam. Resin was here clearly the more durable, more solid and also a far easier solution. I think I‘ll keep on using this technique since it makes foam clay sculpting far easier! :)
Woooo!!! Can't wait to make this when I get more EVA foam and Eva clay. Whoever dislike this video just hating because they don't understand us cosplayer lol keep crushing it 💪
You should be able to get used weights from a local tire shop or garage. They can be melted (carefully with all safety precautions) and cast to make weights that fit whichever space you need.
So I am gearing up to recreate an original costume, that has the fabric equivalent of a superman logo on the chest (can't figure out how to add a picture). I want to go with EVA for a more 3D effect on the new emblem on the front of the somewhat stretchy shirt, but I'm not sure what to use for an adhesive, as superglue seems too rigid and potentially corrosive, fabric glue won't be strong enough, and I'm not sure sewing it on with yeild a smooth enough effect. I'm looking at Silpoxy from Smooth-On as it's skin-safe once cured, but it's really pricey over here in the UK. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks for any helpful tips!! 🤩
you know....i wonder if resin coating would be a simple way of making helmets that could take a good amount of rough and tumble I.E. useable in airsoft...i kinda wanna make an ODST cosplay but have it weather through action like having start looking fresh from the factory and throughout a whole bunch of games weather to look battle hardened and worn.....either way great video yet again

Normal person: Wow, that looks scary and evil!
Svetlana: It's so cute!
Dear Zvetlana and Benny, the energy of your videos is off the friggin scale. It helps me get through my day. Thank you for this wonderful pick me up!
“As long as you look absolutely bad ass, seeing anything is overrated”
I live by these words
I'm so happy to you added Chapters to this one!! Makes it so much easier to go back and find the exact part I need (to watch 10x to figure out!!)
I'm doing your bone armour cosplay and your tutorials have been absolutely amazing!!! You deserve so many more views for such hard work.
Thank you for the resin tip for hardening the foam!! All your experience makes these crafts look effortless! 🤩

I used wool for the hair on my Hellboy head. Used a bald cap as a base, poked holes and pulled and tied off strands of wool, and it worked quite well.
it´s easy to make short hair with yarn but it´s basically impossible to make long hair with it
@@pinkusdean1178 ooh, yeah, that made sense...
As long as you look badass, seeing things is overrated! Truth

Beautiful job!
Its impressive that they made that helmet base once, But hell they did it TWICE because it was a little too large. That is commitment.
Masterful work!

Benny, a request if I may, please.
