"Small and simple"? Me folding a paper hat out of newspaper for two hours and screwing it up in the end is jellous a little.

I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your voiceover/commentary here and it was nice to see more steps slowed down than the usual "I cut out the pattern, traced it onto foam, glued and shaped it." It's helpful to see how you figure out an area for a longer amount of time. Also can I just say I enjoyed the fact the video was 31 minutes long? :D I guess I have a longer attention span than most people because I could watch a cosplay be built for hours.

Same for me, I love to see some of the detailed work to be able to make something from start to finish. And also I know that everything is not simple, but you make a monstrosity of a build look like it is doable which is really motivating.

Thanks for capturing and showing moments when you got to remake any parts. I always feel afraid of experimenting and spoiling the material, so that prevents me from doing some extra steps on improving in foam smithing.
These frames help me to understand, that even the best crafters experience moments of frustration and redo the things. Thank you :)

Wahnsinn, was das für eine Arbeit ist. Wow!

Hey Kamui Cosplay team, not sure you'll see this but here goes: When I look at cosplay projects such as this, I get inspired but at the same time feel a pit of anxiousness in my stomach. I created a set of armor once, and am currently in the middle of a full set but have been procrastinating. In general, because I get so daunted when thinking about prop-making (as well as falling out of love with the "cosplay community"), I am thinking that my prop-making days are coming to an end. Any thoughts?

The last 3 minutes in 1080p were so amazing, I could appreciate all the detail, really love the final result you two archieved in all the textures ment to look like bones, looks so realistic.

@@KamuiCosplay KamuiCosplay One of my profs has been doing scale modeling since he was a kid, when I asked him about making a prop that looks like a bone and said something about the weathering with acrylics or oil paint he said that he avoids both because acrylic and specially oil paints in particular make the dirty , worn out or rusted parts look shiny and thus more artificial, so he instead uses black or sometimes dark brown chalks to archieve a realistic look. Hope the info is useful, I've done it myself and the look is very convincing. (while I said powdered, sometimes is better to stroke directly with the chalk and then difuminating it for the darkest parts)

I want to start programming LEDs and was wondering whether the tutorials in your advanced LED book cover programming and using the Adafruit products that you've listed as products that you've used in this project. I don't want to end up buying something and not being able to use it as it isn't the same as the ones you've done tutorials on in your book. (The book talks about arduino stuff not ada fruit). Also does any type of programmable LED strips work with the board? Adafruit isn't available to me at the moment so I've found a substitute.
    Thanks very much!
