For anyone wondering about the Jack Skellington Drag queen one-- it's AI generated, which feels like a slap in the face to actual cosplayers to include in a video like this
Thank you. I was looking everywhere for that one because I wanted to see how the judges reacted to it. Edit It's do-able. Congrats to the first person that can bring it to fruition.
That’s why a lot of buff guys or fit women have an OF or Patreon where they sell pics of ‘spicy cosplay’. (think themed swim where and posing.) That’s how they get their fans to find the cosplays. It also helps if they take a TON of video and pics of the same cosplay and dole it out like new content.
the price on materials is at least 1000 usd, and some of the bulkiest here in the video worth around 5000 in material alone. And if you buy not directly from manufacturers but from some brands in USA, it can be extra 100% of the sum (like in case with ws2812 LED family). Also you will need equipment (1000-10000) and a separate dedicated place for the craft for at least for 1 month (some larger costumes may require a year of your time), and some cosplayers like Kamui have their own workshop
@gatsu8634 Not everyone does that, been cosplaying for a better part of 10 years now making a lot of armors and weapons, a lot of the material is elinexpensive compared to outright buying them, and equipment can be rented in a lot of places. I afford all my materials and demands from working at my job, the money for flying is funded by helping friends I have met at conventions with panels or booths.
@6:03 Oh good! Now I can experience the horror of BOTW in REAL TIME! It looks absolutely incredible though, I bet they had so much fun scarring some link cosplayers.
That's either part of their job (engineer, etc) to have these skills, some of them use tutorials that other people post online or they pay some professionals to do most of the work like that girl at the end of the video.
Recently watched a guy do a build with fiberglass sheeting (material like) and epoxy. Lightweight, durable, and paint-able. Wanted to pass this idea along. For doing molds, Teflon spray is sold in stores to help with non-stick.
My thoughts exactly! I was like, wait, they got the part right for Brian Froud's name since he did the illustration works that Jim Henson Studios worked with him to bring to life, but then they said it was from Miyazaki and I was like, wait, hold up here.... A real oof moment.
I wonder if any of these people had no idea what they were doing when they started out, or did they all come with the skills and creativity necessary to bring these characters to life? They are truly impressive. :)
That guardian from Breath Of The Wild triggered my flight response. Man those things were scary before you learned to deal with them. Some amazing work by everyone in the video by the way!
Why are you calling Master Chief from Halo a robot? I barely know anything about Halo and was able to recognise Master Chief. Also it is Colonel Sanders not KFC Grandpa.
За 13 лет со дня учёбы в универе косплей совершил скачек невообразимых размеров. Еще лет 50 и не ученые и инженеры нас отправят в космос, а находчивые косплееры!!! 😮😂 костюмы просто ТОП❤
@@frederiknielsen9980That's what I was thinking. It looked too perfect and amazing to be real. Someone should recreate that female Skellington look in the real world.
Hey I made that exact costume that GeneralTampon made aka the Soul Walker. Except mine was more black and a tad bit creepy and I was like 17 when I created it.
most of these are just plain old craft foam, the charizard person just printed out a bunch of papers to use as a base to cut up foam. The biggest stopgap is your creativity and the materials , fabric, foam, paint, and some tools like a paint airbrush,or plain old boxcutters and maybe a sewing machine (you can always handsew)
actually, a lot of techniques are the same. The most difference is that Mask Singer suppliers are a professional workshops with a lot of employees who work under strict schedules while cosplayers usually do this during spare time and when they feel creative. Etreshop that was featured in the video did made a costume for Mask Singer show as well (Etreshop are not cosplayers but professional stage suit atelier).
They are all extraordinary geniuses Can I know the name of the red demon girl character on the thumbnail, because I often see her at every party but never know her character name?
Thank you for sharing my work and these other amazing cosplayers!!
Oh yo its you!! Love your stuff 🫶
:0000 Hii big fan of your magical creations!
I love your cosplay and your tutorial
OMG MISSTWISTEDDDD YOU ARE MY FAVORITE FANTASY DESIGNER ❤❤❤❤
OMGG HIII I LOVE UR ANGEL DUST COSPLAYYYY❤❤❤
Cosplayers really are a league of their own. Always so fascinated on the process of making their costumes.🤩

@@Glassessss its 100% do-able, but the fact the video tries to pass the image off as real is bs
I was wondering because I've seen all the drag race franchises and i would have remembered this
Goddammit...
Some of these are in the realm of puppetry, but they all show some incredible talent. Hollywood has need for this kind of thing.
Hollywood is full of people like this😅
These are some seriously skilled people.Amazing talent out there!!
Actually the lady who did the cat bus also later did the attacking statues in legend of Zelda. It was epic
These artists & craftspeople are impressively talented ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ty for sharing their work!
5:41 THAT HAWKS COSPLAY IS ACTUALLY SO COOL-
Mad respect for cosplayers who make those amazing costumes from scratch.
I shudder at the amount of money it takes for these people to make these kinds of stuff.

KamuiCosplay deserve’s to have her own Museum, her level of detail, depth, texture & color is on another level !

I don't know what it says about me, but when I first read your post I thought "When did those hack frauds in Milwaukee ever review a Zelda game?"
These people are amazingly talented in costume designs and creating!
I am so amazed how these people make their costumes better than most of the stuff you see on TVs or the movies
these are crazy, how are people so smart and creative?

I never said that they make of cosplay their job. Read again my comment.

Bravo! These cosplayers took it to another level!
I love Yelan’s bow so much, she made it look so ethereal!
These costumes are INCREDIBLE.. I’m in awe🤌🏽🧐👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥s/o to the artist making there childhood cartoons come to life. What a dream 💪🏽🔥
The sheer skills and commitment needed to create and finish these cosplays... It's admirable to me.
I wish I had that kind of talent.
Damn, those megatron and bumblebee masks are crazy😍🔥
The original “land striders” were from the movie The Dark Crystal.
“KFC grandpa”??? SERIOUSLY?
They also said Master Chief was a "robot costume". It feels like the text is written by an AI.

@@OyukidonoTo be fair it didn't say it was from Miyazaki, but that they were also inspired by him.
They did the same thing the league of legends Lillian costume calling it a "kawaii reindeer "

I love the dual one 9:10 💖
woah that one is insane 😍
Catbus is awsome, do his eyes light up? That would be amazing
2:42 I read the caption and it fr sounded like that one quote from "hamilton: the musical"
I hope these people get paid for their hard work, knowledge, money spent, and creativity needed to create these masterpieces! 🤩
My little brother was baby oil for Halloween.
No joke he wanted that as his costume
I know Halloween's over but these costumes would've been great for it. And maybe the makers can save them for next year.
Yeah, I'm curious about who's on the thumbnail and why they're not featured in the video. Are we supposed to guess who they are ? 🙄😒
21:28
@goldenphoenix350
Too bad, I was talking about the other one. 😂
love how they said a robot cosplay when it was Chief from Halo
And just a dragon for Toothless XD
Hawks from mha was incredible!! He so cuteee😊
So Frickin Awesome !

This could really help with my Halloween costume!❤😊
If you need somebody to make a movie, I need just find these people they would make your costumes look goddamn damn they’re really really good
I feel like my costume is so boring now, its literally a black and white shirt and some face paint and i call it a mime
Love they called it a "kawaii reindeer" when its literally Lillia from League of Legends.

Call me crazy, but Master Chief is about as recognizable as Mario.
@decepticonmecha right!
Too many ideas! I'm never going to be able to try all of these! But I'll make the attempt!
10:38 TOOTHLESS 😮🤩🐉🥰🥰
6:28 I WANT IT!!! Take my money!!! 😫🥺
I love how it’s just 50% Kamui’s work, She’s worked so hard for so long to churn out that content.
And yet, they got her name wrong. The channel name is Kamui Cosplay, but her name is Svetlana. Would have been trivial to google
the girl is a delightful needlewoman

Sadness that it's AI... Looks like it's from a Disney Drag Race account that pitted AI generated characters against each other.
