Hi guys! Thank You for watching! My favorite winter working gloves(Amazon affiliate link): amzn.to/46VE2nb Don’t forget to like, comment, subscribe and check out my other videos🙌
I watched a couple hundred of these and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a walk-behind blower eat snow almost twice it’s own height so cleanly and effortlessly. Nice work! (You AND Honda.) 👍
On top of the 4 feet of snow, you probably only have 4 hours of daylight to work with in Norway. Kudos for your hard work. This is now my favorite snowblowing vid on YT.
That’s what I call snow!! You definitely have the right equipment, you probably wish the Honda snowblower was a tad bigger. It definitely gets the job done. If we had snow like this in USA 90% of the people would panic & not be prepared. 5% would struggle & barely make it, the other 5% would survive. Seeing that kinda snow in person is a beast, my hats off to you for handling it like champ!
What a fun day with the snowblower! I would love to have storms like that to clean up every once in a while during the winter here in NB, Canada.. we don’t get to many of them really! Anyways awesome camera angles an thanks for taking us along! Cheers! Andrew from NB, Canada :) 🇨🇦
Thank you for the comment! Yes it is fun a couple of times, but the big challenge isn’t the amounts of snow, but the wind! Once you have cleared all the snow and drifts, it’s only a matter of hours before you have to go another round!!
Love my 928 Honda, got it for more than 16 years now. This thing don’t want to die, I’ll eat kids sled , I’ll eat hockey stick, one time running with no oil for a moment never had any issues. There’s shear pins everywhere to prevent damage. Only problem with the time it’s inside spinner paint. It’s all gone and snow freeze on it when slushy. I’ll think I’m good for another 10 years without a doubt.
Good to hear! The Honda in the video is about 12 years old, still runs like a new machine! You can paint the impeller housing and chute. I did it to mine. I used industrial epoxy paint, much stronger than regular paint. And lasts longer.

With snow that deep you may want to buy a set of drift cutters for that blower. They help a lot in those conditions. That will help to keep the sides from collapsing (see at 8:45).
Takk! Like greit å kjøpe en freser som holder lenge og virker hver gang du skal bruke den! Disse holder seg veldig godt i verdi også hvis du tar vare på den!
8:36 I think I see holes that would accommodate drift cutters. Are they available for the 1390i? Just curious. They'd have worked out well for you in this instance. I have Honda's OEM cutters for my HSS928ATD.
Hi! Thank you for the comment😊 I haven’t seen drift cutters for this model from Honda, but I am sure there will be some other that will fit, or make some myself! Usually we don’t get this amount of snow in such a short period of time! But it is fun to experience!

Let’s see, using a walk behind 30” blower or a 60” blower with an enclosed (and probably heated) tractor cab when it is only 8C outside and there’s about 1 meter of snow. Let’s pick the smaller walk behind so you can make a video clip!!!
You can’t drive a big tractor everywhere. It needs a lot of space when you have a front loader and snowblower. And the chains destroys nice looking surfaces.
@@InTheVise Makes Snowblowing fun. We have a Kubota Cab with a front mount blower . This has been the first time in about 8 years. Two dumps of snow in a week and a half at 2-3 feet each dump. Keep up the great videos
Great job with the Honda, but why would you use the small snow blower when the tractor mounted blower moves 2-3 times as much snow? Plus the cab is enclosed and probably heated. The chute freezing is a common problem. A couple a shots with WD-40 will usually melt the ice and lubricate the gear.
A tractor with a snowblower and front loader need som space. Of course You can’t drive everywhere with the big tractor. And the chains will destroy stamped concrete, tiles and so on. Especially when you got this much of heavy snow, it is impossible to not spin the tires at some point.
It is some other good brands as well, Yamaha and Yanmar for example. Maybe the biggest models of Ariens as well? But I stick to Honda myself😀 A lot of professional Honda dealers in my area if I ever need parts quick. It can be a nightmare to get parts from some of the other brands here in Norway.
@@InTheVise we don’t have Yamaha or Yanmar snowblowers in America. If someone wanted a Yamaha that bad they could buy one in Canada. The rest of the brands including Ariens are owned by MTD, they take good brands and ruin them for profit. In the USA, Honda is the only brand with strict quality control and reliable reputation. MTD anything is garbage.

@@johnminke4542It is expensive, but a life saver in winter!

No other brand snowblower could do this. I own a Honda and know. All other brands are junk.
Agreed MTD takes good names like Cub Cadet and makes them average, but Ariens is still family owned.
@@Mikel9999-vh3cb have you ever taken a modern MTD engine apart? Do it, it’s educational. Everything that you think should be a metal part, is plastic. No joke!
@@Mikel9999-vh3cb I assumed Ariens was owned by MTD, I saw some Ariens lawn mowers in Home Depot with MTD engines.
Ugh. The music! Nobody watching these awesome machines wants to hear anything but the sound!
Hi! I usually get a lot more views on my videos when I use trending music from Epidemic sound. A lot of the video is without music as well, so you can hear the machine sounds from every angles. It is very difficult to find music that everyone enjoys and matches with the video content, actually the hardest part about video editing. I think the majority of the viewers thinks it’s cooler to watch with some music. I’m just trying to make some cool, interesting, informative and entertaining videos!
And people want to get rid of gas engines, let them shovel the snow by hand
А почему не запустить трактор,он получше справится с сугробами🤔
I have a separate video of the tractor! You can’t run a tractor everywhere, and the snow chains can really destroy newly paved or bricks surfaces. It needs some space as well when turning and so on!
Понял.
Stop the music! 🙉
@@Ajsmountain 😂 I use to get a lot more views on my videos with music for whatever reason!!
The deadly Global warming is causing so much trouble in the world.
Please... no music !!
These people are banning gasoline and diesel powered cars! How funny.
Do you have any global warming in Norway?
Greta Thunberg is travelling all over the world claiming that snow is a thing of the past, and that we have ruined her childhood.
