Walking through your garden fills my heart. A family working, playing, loving together to make beauty for tomorrow. By sharing this part of your blessings with others brings those blessings to us. Thank you.
Love love love the Story of your family and garden! I can understand the overwhelming emotions you have when you go back in time watching your first projects planning your garden, plus the great family team you have working all together!! Thank you for sharing those precious moments with us !!
The old videos are my absolute favorite! They are perfection!
I love how you work as a family. Your children will never forget what they have learned. Well done all of you. I really enjoy your videos Angela. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us.
What I appreciate most about your lovely garden is the thoughtfulness that went into the design layout, and the lush beauty that has resulted from your original vision and your persistent dedication.
My favorite part of the garden are the stone walls and the strolls through the garden. Loving to see the children when they were younger!
Teresa Stewart
Gardening is such a labor of love with all the joys and pitfalls of nurturing life. Yeah it's emotional. LOVED IT ALL!
My favorite aspect of your garden is the English/French countryside vibe. It’s just stunning and cozy/homey at the same time. Just lovely!
Oh how I love the lavender. Lavender has proven to be my nemesis, so I appreciate the opportunity to virtually stroll through your peaceful layout
The moment of extreme abundance when there is that ever so slight color change, signaling the coming fall. I love that moment in your garden. Just like I love it in my own. And of course your lavender 💜. Gives a northern gardener hope.
Your lavender plants look so lovely in their large clusters! I have just started trying to infuse beauty to my small corner of the world and your current garden gives me inspiration and hope for what my garden will become in the years to come.
Your garden tours are always soothing and delightful, Angela. I remember those early days in your garden; your vision has come to fruition and I rejoice with you. Gardens are always evolving, assuring that they are not boring. Gardens are a lot of work, but are so rejuvenating to the soul. Even a few sweet blossoms in a small space bring joy. Thank you for this look back and for a glimpse of your garden's current status. The over wintering tips for the rosemary are an added bonus.
Your garden is beautiful. All of your and your families hard work shows. Your children are precious in these old videos. Thank you for sharing.
How could anyone just pick one favorite thing in your garden? ☺ Omgosh, I think I would just say the way it all draws you in to want to sit on the bench to take it all in...
I love all the trellis, the log beds, the flowers along with the water features all bring such a calmness and peace that make you long to be in it.
I wish I had captured the building of my garden. My long border is over 200 ft and I desperately could use one of those retractable hoses to make keeping my garden alive in this hot humid heat here in the Deep South. This years drought has us at a negative 15 inches of rain and we’ve had a record number of 100 plus days. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens. My favorite part of your current garden is section closest to the house where you built the rock wall from the rock in the old orchard. I love how the steps walk down through those big beds filled with lupine and tons of cottage flowers. I wish I could recreate the look of those rock walls and steps.
This is the first sponsoprship I have ever in my life been interested in
Fabulous. lol
The David Austin roses and the lavender are simply beautiful, but I must say the pond is my favorite. Stunning!
I LOVE the arbors and walkways ❤️
My favorite part of your garden is the contrast between then & now! And also
You getting all choked up at the end of the season… I am glad I’m not the only one!
Thank you Angela. It has been such a joy watching your garden evolve. Bless your heart, you've worked so hard and instilled such a wonderful work ethic in your children.
I have to agree with so many others that the overhead view is spectacular! I love the depth of texture. The soft wisps of asparagus and the hard jagged edges of the rock.
Thank you for sharing your garden and home! I love the way parts of the garden have been built using what was already there by the hands of the entire family. The kids will walk the rows for years and remember ❤️
I love the lavender and rosemary tips for bringing it inside. Oh who am I kidding I love it all!
I don't know what is more lovely....the beautiful gardens or your beautiful and hard working family.💖
My favorite part of your garden is hard because it's so beautiful. Probably the lavender, all the flowers and herbs, the sunflowers. I suppose I can't name one thing as a favorite. You all worked so hard to get to the place the garden is now and its gorgeous.
Oh, the lavender! I can only imagine the scent!!
It all is beautiful, great job!
The children were so little! What great memories you have captured!
Dearest Angela,
You rocked it! You and your fam! I am also one of the many who binge watch you on the you tubes, and it's been the sweetest thing. I think my hubby is slightly annoyed but actually thrilled that I've found a common soul like mine. My favorite part of your garden (it's going to get cheesy) is how much it has taught me to dream of a cottage garden again, love the time I'm in right now and be patient. It's a labor of so much sacrifice and love to your family and from your family. I thought I had to give up such dreams but now I know that it's not silly to keep dreaming and enjoy what I have and look forward to what our family puts into it, for YEARS to come. Your garden shows gumption and patience, and a creative dream that you didn't let die. You allowed motherhood to embrace it not drag it down and you are humble. Merci !! Also the bench in your garden is very sweet I know you and Joel have sat there when you've hit subscriber bench marks and toasted with glasses. I think it's wonderful to think about sitting there with your person, a long time. (Hopeless romantic over here)
I love the entire layout of your garden as seen from above. It’s a clever and dramatic layout. It’s hard to believe how much you have accomplished in such a short time.
Angela, I had watched the older videos already, but it was so fun to watch them again and see how young the kids were. And how young the garden was! You've done so much hard work and put so much of yourselves in the gardens. What I love the most about your garden as it is today is the curated look. It's not all homogenous. The beds are lined in tree limbs, stone and wattle. The plants are trellised on the metal arches and on homemade teepees made of branches, Because it's not all the same, it looks as if it's been added to a little each year, curated over time and thus, like it's been there for a long time. It's beautiful.
Your garden is beautiful and I love watching you work together as a family. You have truly transformed that space. Seeing you choke up about your garden makes me choke up too! Love your videos and podcast! And your white skirt is darling!
I think I love the hardscapes best: the trellises, the statues and urns, the bench, the rocks lining the beds.
I can’t imagine all the hard work that you & your family have put into that dreamy garden. I love the 4 arches. It brings an old world look to the space.
It’s the green arched arbors approaching the pond for me - love the effect
There’s too many favorites but I love seeing the bare bones beginnings and where you are now. This is encouraging as I’m one year into making a new garden on an acre of nothing, not even trees. Thank you.
This is the only UA-cam channel that I’ve ever binge watched from start to latest video at the time. This resonates with me and what we did to our place 25 years ago. Love this channel and content.
I love the David Austin Roses, of course, but I love seeing the hollyhocks, the echinacea, and other flowers growing and thriving. It’s lovely!
The variety of plants in the garden is impressive and I like how the gourds are growing upwards on the trellises. My favorite aspect is the floral pops of color among the edible plants.
I really loved seeing the kids having fun helping you. You have a wonderful family.
The lavenders are beautiful, no garden must be without lavender. Overall all the colours in every spot, is a beauty to the eye. I can just wish for a garden like that. Enjoy it.
I love the timeless feel of your garden. Amazing accomplishment in just four years! My favorite features are the rock retaining walls. I can imagine the blood, sweat, and tears it took to make that dream a reality!
Goodness Angela you, Joel and the kids have created an absolute oasis! I teared up watching the old videos, the kids were so little! I adore your style, your color combinations are stunning! I must say that my absolute favorite is all of the lavender 😍
Well if I must pick a fav from your August garden it would have to be the bees because without them there would be no flowers. What loveliness you have created. Thank you for doing a give a way, you give so much to us. ❤️
That is absolutely paradise!! The space evolved with the lovely lady that planted it.
My favorite part is the attention to layout of the garden and how it feels like entering a "room".
Angela, thank you for your inspiration you have given me through the years. My favorite part of your gardens are the ponds. I know how hard you worked on them.
I love all of this video. But, if I picked a favorite part it would be the baby on Joel’s back while he was weeding the garden. What a special moment to capture.
Hahahahaha
I love the entire garden. The central water feature/ pond brings such a fun, rustic, yet elegant touch. I love how you mix your plantings.
At 24:39 mark of the video I absolutely adore how everything looks; the lavenders, the archway and pine trees in the back.
I can imagine how you feel. Lots of work went into making your garden and especially having your children around you. It would bring tears to my eyes. My favorite is the David Austin roses. They are absolutely gorgeous. I do also love the lavender and the other pretties you have planted. Take care ~Janet 😘
I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ the logs that create your garden beds...so creative! In fact, I love all the handmade garden items with natural materials! Thanks so much for all the inspiration!😊
I love the expanse of the garden, how the design and layout of the garden makes me want to meander throughout it. Truly lovely.
Love the rocks surrounding the pond, it’s so pretty
You are glowing in that red blouse.😍
Thank you for showing some of your past videos. I remember watching you and your sweet family back 4+ years ago putting in the foundation of your now lovely garden. I just love how the lavender has filled in. Such an ocean of purple 💜 such a versatile flower/herb. Your ponds are so amazing too!! Just goes to show to be a gardener 👩🏻🌾 you need patience and hope for the future. 🌱❤️🌸
Angela, I love it all!
The welcoming entrance; the stone. I’m a huge fan of lavender. Love it! And, the red coneflowers sharing space with the dill, is lovely.
We absolutely love the ponds that you have added. You all have done a wonderful job creating that space, we hope all of you enjoy it for years to come.
So beautiful!!! 💐✨🦋💖🌟🙏🌷
My favorite thing besides everything is the path to walk amongst the beauty!!!
Thank you!
I love the way the lavender frames the garden and how the flowers intermingle with the vegetables. So beautiful I have garden envy!
Your garden makes me SWOON! You didn’t even focus on it; it was in the background before you gave the tour of the current garden, but OH! Those black hollyhocks! 😍😍😍 They are, hands down, my favorite part of your current garden. And the ponds. And the new arches. And the statuary. And, and, and… I love it all! I will watch this video again, just in case I missed something the first million times! 😉
I remember well, and have not missed one of your videos! I rember the kids as little ones, Joel doing his Italian accent, cooking, thrifting, a little house birthday, and even your concert adventure! Thanks for lots of wonderful hours spent with you all!!
Angela I remember watching all of your work in the garden and your little family and all you did! It's been such a glorious thing to watch all the progress!
Angela, brilliant editing then and now glimpses of all the blood, sweat, and laughter that has been captured in such a beautiful home and garden . Such joy seeing the life in so many different species of 🪴 plants and shrubs. I would have to say, the homemade fencing is my favorite alongside the stone walls that has been transformed from back when 👍 Thank you for sharing your lovely home and family.

I got one. Deleted it.
Sad
I deleted 🤦♀️
Your lavendar is the winner for me along with rosemary. I've been teaching my daughters to garden and those are 2 of their favorites. In my .ind gardening is another way to show love
rats, here I was thinking I had the giraffe hose
It’s hard to select a favorite part of your garden, but I would the ponds have really come together so nicely this year. I absolutely love the layout and how it all is delineated.
I love all the arches that you currently have in your ‘August’ garden. They give so much structural support, and that is amazing that you’re growing gourds on them. I had only ever thought of them being used for flowers, but growing veggies is brilliant 😊
The entire garden is beautiful - thanks for sharing. My favourite area is the pond surrounded by the rock borders and the flowers and plants cascading around. It looks so natural like its been there for years. So lovely.
So much hard work! It is so worth it though! The kids are so little in this one! This was a fun memory to revisit. Precious💗
I enjoy looking at your gardens as they are today because something new catches your eye at every angle. It is filled with incredible color combinations! Your gardens give someone so many new ideas to try and apply to their beds.
Angela ~ I have watched every episode on your channel, follow you on IG and listen to your Homemaker Chic podcast so I am well seasoned on just how much your garden means to you. I feel the same exact way about my garden. I had a beautiful little garden at my rental cottage and had to uproot from it and it just broke my heart. The first thing we did at our new place was build a small garden because it is my therapy as I know yours is too.
What I love about your August garden is that it has come such a long way and with the hard work from you and your family - it has been such a wonderful journey to see it become so established, full, healthy and beautiful. I think the best part is, that it has been a whole family project filled with hard work and love. All of the little hands have moved the earth, rolled the logs, planted the bulbs and seeds. And because the whole family has made your garden what it is - is what makes your luscious garden so special.
As always, I so appreciate your videos! Your knowledge, talent and hard work is so inspiring! Congratulations on such a wonderful oasis!
I remember you garden in small white house before you move to the farm where you live before. So happy to fallow you all this time.
You and your family are amazing ...you brought your vision to fruition... just stunning. I’m always amazed at your creativity and strength and beauty. Sister in Christ...keep going ♥️🙏🏼
I think my favorite parts of your August garden are the lavender, the last of the roses, the onion tops peeping out, and the beautiful growth on your arches! And being a 67 year old woman who is NOT getting any younger (lol) I can understand why your retractable hose is one of your favorite tools! Thanks for another wonderful video!
Right? That darn hose saves me so many steps!
I was so thrilled to finally catch a live video...thank you for sharing your beautiful potage with us!!
Me too!! And to have the time to watch it all the way through was precious. ☺️
@@Joyfillied Definitely!!
Not only is your garden phenomenal, but you look spectacular even while mocking old branched out of the forest area! You truly are an inspiration to me.
Thank you Helen.
The kids are adorable and your daughter talking about the frost is precious! I love seeing the stages because it feels like transforming a large space is possible.
"The giddy thoughts, the extravagance of being able to plan for the future artistically in this space is incredible" (-9:45) was my fav part of your garden video. You share your process & action steps to make an inspired life with us. Thank you.
This is such a beautiful garden, Angela! I love love the way you have used all the natural stone, logs, and limbs to contain the differient beds, and vines, etc growing up the trellises. Stunning!
Unbelievable the difference. How beautiful
I loved revisiting the older videos. I especially loved the tutorial on rosemary 🌿 Merci!
The garden is so serene and beautiful. Another word would be enchanting. I have watched you from the beginning and love every video you have shared. I see the children growing up so fast. You inspire me everyday to love every precious moment God gives us
Dear Angela,
I love looking at your garden and the artistry involved in your layout.
I especially love the garden pond you all have created that you are standing beside, at the end of the video…the outline with rocks, the waterfall, the plantings amongst and intermingled with the rocks. Gorgeous! 👒🪷💗
I love the beautiful coneflowers and the green grassy paths through the garden. Thank you for the video! It’s beautiful!
I think it’s amazing what you can do in such little time in a garden! Love the lavender and the ponds!
My favorite part is the integration of edibles with the beautiful flowers. Looks like you are going to have a great onion harvest.
I think my favorite part is the pond. All of it is so beautiful though! Obviously, the David Austin roses!!!✨
I just loved this video! I’ve missed your videos with your family. I know that your kids are getting older and time changes things. This was just lovely. 😊😊
I have to say that my favorite part of your garden is the full picture of it. I can imagine you standing in your windows looking out over all that you have created. I am in awe of how beautiful it is. I started over this year with a whole new garden and I am 71. I only hope I am able to accomplish what you have and be able to stand back and see as much beauty as I see in yours..
I love the round pond water feature of your garden with the rocks around it it’s such a beautiful focal point! I love you sharing your older videos and showing us that having a gorgeous garden takes time and effort. Gives me hope mine will get there too! 🫶🏼💗😁
Your garden and your videos always inspiring me to do that with mine, also your orchard was amazing and that is my favorite part thank you for all ✨
So special🪴I love all the emotion you so freely share with us, truly your garden is an extension of your heart♥️
Your new arched trellises. Simple elegant and you are right! Better than wire cattle panels…. Although the cattle panels do work well. Thanks for sharing your sweet memories too. I feel your hard work deeply. New garden and landscape going in here too!
Love seeing the process, the workload, the emotions ... to get to what you have today. Always changing. So lovely!
I enjoyed remembering all the different stages of the gardens development through the glimpses of the first part of the video. Though my favorite part of the garden now is seeing the design of garden beds and rooms full of flowers and produce. If you took away the design it would not be as beautiful and enjoyable to be in , so to me that is the most important part of the garden. Its now providing your family with beauty, a space to learning, play and food for self-sufficiency and health. I also love the espalier apples , grapes and lavender.
Love these old videos.
I like your garden deer fence and stone fence they add such charm to your property!
So sweet and beautiful ❤️❤️❤️treasure those memories of your family’s accomplishments 😎
Angela this is simply beautiful and I love how grateful you are. XO
Breathtaking! I am in love with the space at the end with the pond...can I please just sit right there and spend the day taking it all in?💋
Thank you for the rosemary inspiration. Good to know I can transplant into pots for the winter!
Inspiring seeing the beginning of the garden and several years in. My favorite is the structure of the raised beds, fence, and arches. The lavender is my favorite pop of color in your garden. Great job, lovely!
