June 2024 Garden Tour

We are in north western Montana, zone 5.
Just wanted to share a tour of our garden and what the month of June has looked like. We have had a cooler spring and early summer this year than the past few years. We have gotten quite a lot of rain versus our few previous years of being here. We had a few late frosts too. Overall though, I am so thankful for the rain and sunshine and God's gift to us in growing food for our family.
I get into the blessing of volunteer plants! I also didn't mention, but saving seed is so special too! We are always learning, feel free to comment and suggestions or questions!
Our soil is very sandy, but adding composted manure, and composted goat bedding and chicken coop compost has really made our soil lovely. We strive to add compost of some sort to the beds each year.
