That guy isn't a farmer, that guy is the whole farm.
fr lmao
That guy ate the whole farm
Legit looks like Juggernaut
The only thing on a farm I've seen resembling this guy is a combine harvester.
He farms so that he can eat the farm that he grows
I was at that meet. His squat was just unreal to watch.
my jaw would have dropped to the ground.... maybe he would have helped me to pick it up XDDD what a redicolous guy
No you weren’t
@@rubens.507 okay buddy. NOTB 2020, check open powerlifting.
This guy is an absolute beast; Shaw/Hall level. Those squats in the video did look kind of high though. he also looks like he could have buried it without a problem. How does he look on the platform in person?
@@rubens.507 Yes, he actually was. Down in front.
Very impressive lifting but I'm calling BS on the casual lifter thing. You just don't randomly put up a performance like this. 100% he has been training consistently for more than a couple of years. Sure, he may have had some breaks along the way, but there's no way he hasn't put in the hard yards in training over a decent period of time. Also random lifters don't spend hundreds of dollars on a SBD belt, proper heeled squat shoes, wraps, etc just to use them sporadically.
Lets not forget the random ped‘s he’s taking
@@anonymos1576 not that I care who takes ped's but yea, doing so isn't the telltale sign of a casual powerlifter...
Imagine being a "casual lifter" while taking steroids, that is literally the opposite of being casual. And at that point where is the healthy part of lifting if you roid?
I showed him this guy. I promise to god he is
He trains for CrossFit type shit and puts on weight for meets. It’s not bullshit. I know it’s hard to believe
that speed on the squat was f'd up. That was some Eric Lilliebridge 2015 type of speed.
Yep, I think it was pretty close to it. If he isn't a record holder in 3 or so years I will be convinced he was payed off.
He has the force
ayyyoooooo @Star Wars Theory I love your channel. It's awesome to see my two favorite channels interacting.
Yooo SWT I was not expecting you here. I’ve been subbed for years.
Ayo lemme hear dat palpy impression again
Life experience tells me that being a 'random farmer' is a urban legend, probably he just happens to own a farm, or maybe he does indeed something part-time on a farm if only it doesn't collide with his lifting regimen. But working out 'occasionally' ? Hell no. It's just naive to believe it.

Agree. While there are some pretty strong farmers out there. There is none that look like this guy. He's a giant beast built like a tank and on serious gear. Farmers don't take roids while tending to their hay, cows, and chickens.
"This random farmer" 💀
This guy has monster genetics, but that doesnt back up the supposed "not training consistently" thingy. Theres no way my man lifts randomly and has a total more than larry wheels. Just not happening. Its hard to apprehend that people are able to do this when they have powerlifted their entire life
@creatine addict i still dont believe it. Do you know that hes as strong as an average silverback gorilla? Theres is no way that my man didnt grind for years and years super seriously and became this strong
I dunno me and my 3 brothers were raised on a big dairy farm, and the first time me and my brother ever tried squatting we finished our first time in the gym with lifts of 455 at 22, and he did 490 at 33. Had never touched a weight before in my life, besides the real heavy things around the farm. A guy in my class at the aq campus wore a size 29 ring, he was over 450 pounds and not what I would really call fat just built like a brick shithouse.
@@rickwilson5611 yea i think just so many of us were raised without doing any manual labor so our bodies never needed to get big, I wish i wasnt a couch potato through my puberty years lol

I believe that a "random farmer" might pull 200kg+ deadlift and 170kg+ on the squat at his first ever visit to the gym, but I don't buy 400kg+ squat being result of strenght out of "honest work"
The deadlift I'm wiling to believe, but the squat not really. You might get strong enough without specific training to deadlift heavy but to have the all around strength to do a proper atg squat 170kg, no.
@Your Name maybe he doesnt compete seriously, but he definitely trains seriously and takes the right 'supplements'
@@jotr.9786 That's a great point. A lot of big naturally strong guys probably don't have the deep pelvic strength for that low with that much weight. Lower back strength, sure, but glutes and where they attach are a little more deliberate to train.
@@jotr.9786 if you look at his legs and belly, you see that the man was built to squat

@@Bryanseas farmers dont need gym though.
Because they are already world athelete in most of the body parts. Unlike most excercise, and workouts youve seen around till to this date.
Like manny Pacquiao was got to much bone genetics from his parents who used to be farmers back then thats why he hits allot harder during his prime days. Very similar to my brother my family bloodline are mostly farmers including my parents but unlike many Pacquiao my brother is post-modern and a very lazy person yet hes durable enough to punch and crack a 4inches rock wide and 5inches small rock at full strength and even survive a car crash luckily he only got scratches on his skin but not his growth plates.
Try to check filipino farmers they have much durable bones because its a hot country the more you get vitamin d,working 8hrs a day possibly calcuim if they have dairy products, and carrying any different size and shape of their crops just by walking in a long distance like getting down the hill in a deep tropical forest 2miles accross just to sell their products on streets is on a whole another feat.
The only people ive met that can be similarly comparable to a lazy human ancient ancestors.

I went to school with this guy he was strong back 15 yrs ago I remember him coming in the weight room and putting 315 on the bar and doing it for 8 reps without ever lifting before he was a lot smaller then maybe around 200lbs he’s definitely a super heavy weight now for sure 💪💪🦁
Great lifter with much greater potential but not sure I can buy a guy who would be that heavy on all that juice is "just lifting for fun"
Maybe this is actually the real example of a person who has the myostatin deficiency and a mesomorph body type (unlike people who only talk about it to cover their PEDs and hormones abuse f.e. E.Hall or Ronnie Coleman)? I'm not saying he certainly is but who knows?

He is like a young Kazmaier!
I would love to see him try his hand in strongman! This much raw horsepower and with a farmers background he’s gotta have a super good grip and be good at moving with weights as well.
Seriously, give this guy a year or two training with strongman events and this dude could have the potential to be a podium finisher in 2-3 years!
(And with the talent in strongman right now that is saying A LOT!)
except when kaz competed they actually judged squat depth , now not so much
He’s a couple years older than me but I went to school with this guy. He’s been a tank since he was a kid. Good ole farm boy from nowhere Ohio.
Happy thanksgiving man!
"a random farmer that didn't especially train for powerlifting" ah yes, I believe this, you just forgot to add "natty" and i'll fall in love

bruh the speed on that squat, i had to double check to make sure the video wasn’t sped up…
900 competition squat was probably to depth, although a side angle would've been helpful. That 1000 lbs squat in training, however, wasn't anywhere close to depth.

Depth on the squat definitely isn’t there. Also there was downward movement on the bench. Still ridiculous tho and definitely a contender

That bar speed on the squat, wow
Absolutely unreal lifting but this guy doesn't train inconsistently at all. If you go look at his instagram he works very very hard in training. He just doesn't train powerlifting year round, seems like he has some heavy bodybuilding phases under John Parillo. In my experience the myth of the hard working man who is the strongest man on earth without training is total shit every time. Manual labour is a great base but the strongest people in the world are those that compete, as competing raises your standards and pushes you to take things to a new level. Even a guy like Eric Spot who burst onto the scene and quickly broke the world bench record turned out to be a former high level arm wrestler. He was already a world class athlete in another sport so applied that same drive and worth ethic needed to focus on his bench press, even if he worked on it behind the scenes for a while.
That's because you live in the City, your fake ideas of training are nothing compared to real work on a farm. Y'all are pencilnecks 😆💪🇺🇸
@@transylvania2259 Not sure if your trolling mate but I grew up on a farm and spent plenty of time doing hard manual labour. It's a great base for getting strong once you start hitting the weights but it doesn't create world class strength by itself.

The bench didn't seem to have a true pause at the bottom, but definitely very impressive lifts.
By far my favorite video you've put out and I think I've watched all of them!!!!!!
This once again illustrates that powerlifting should only be about becoming the strongest you can possibly be, meaning just becoming stronger.
