Great video in preparing for a Wolfbox install in a Transit Customs. I've opted to buy an interior rearview mirror TC (4385007) and remove the glass and bezel to reuse the rear end as the mount for the Wolfbox. The position and geometry should be correct from the existing OEM mount and trims. Fingers Crossed 😊
@@alanmctear5502 thanks and sounds like a plan. Be interesting to see the final results. I do wish Wolfbox sold an offset mount so it shifted the mirror and inch towards the driver so the front facing camera wasn't obscured. I did contact them but said they have nothing
@@AyReSy1UK thanks and nope the red lines isn't needed to have the reversing camera working. All that it does, if the red line is connected to the reverse light, is the mirror will flip to the reverse view if the mirror isn't set to it and it has guide lines. But to be honest the guide lines are a gimmick and I have the mirror set to front and back anyway
I have a 2016 Renault Trafic van, with factory fitted reversing camera which is part of the middle brake light at the top and back of the van and the display is shown on a small screen in the rearview mirror. I'd like to replace it and have a dashcam which works with the reversing camera. I know you have it as the reverse camera in your video, but wondering if I can use the vans factory camera for reversing only, as it is low res and the Wolf 900 as the dashcam, but this will mean having two camera input.
@@aaronag7876 hmm it's a good question and I did think what do people do with having two. For our van it had no rear view mirror. I like the fact it's basically a mirror but also a forward and rear dashcam. I would guess you would have to run both set ups
@@MihaNovakJD hi, as in the Fiesta custom steering wheel? That was made by someone on Facebook called Sebastian Okon. Tell him I've sent you. Just had it re trimmed by him and it's stunning

@@Kaleda91 AHH ok so it's something I may do. I think it needs to be spliced to the rear reverse light. The only difference with doing this with this kit is that reverse lines appear on the screen and the mirror will also switch to the rear view. I don't need this as the lines are a bit of a gimmick and the mirror can just be flicked to the rear anyways or have it set like I do. Half and half

Just the video I was looking for, perfect timing.
oh brill thanks for the comment
I just put this into a new Ineos, it is the best option you can use. It works Perfectly.
its great how it looks factory fitted and doesnt just allow to see behind but also is recording front and back
Good video thanks. So there isnt a need to connect the red line to the reversing control line?
