I’ve been using this cam for a while now and gotta say really loving it, if I’d change anything if have bought the upgraded 4k rear camera, not because the standard one is rubbish as it’s really good, it’s just more for low light etc.
But that aside it’s great, and great to be able to take the footage and use it in my content.

You should be able to take the sd card out and drag the files onto a computer, that’s what I’ve done to get mine
@@scottishsurfer9885ahhh ok. Not as simple as my old nextbase, where I could connect the app to the camera to download clips via WiFi. Shame, but not the end of the world.

I’m loving it tbh, it’s got me wondering why I didn’t get one sooner, plus for me I get the added benefit of getting all the driving footage from my surf trip when I make edits

The 3 clips at the end of the edit are straight from the dash cam, I was blown away with them TBH, I know it looked crystal clear on the dash cam itself but sometimes clarity can be lost when you seen it on a screen, hasn't been the case

Great video. Looking forward to seeing rear camera video. Can I ask if you hardwire to permanent feed why do you need to wire to ignition on/off as well?

I’m answer to the question, the permanent live is to allow it to be able to draw enough power to start recording if any motion is detected for the pre-set duration, but will not drain the battery. The switched live is of course then for normal 12v power once the ignition is turned on

Thanks, been looking at these for a while now, is there any issue with it draining your battery if the can isn't used for a while?
I've had it fitted for a couple weeks now, the van sat for the first 5 days which is pretty common for me, had no issues at that point, its also been waaaaayyy below freezing the past 2 weeks so if any additional drinks was going to take effect I guess it would have been then.

Any link for new firmware version for Wolfbox G900, please? By mistake i downgraded the firmware instead upgrading...i got new camera few days ago and got firmware from Wolfbox original site and is older than the one i had...anyone can help me here, please? My firmware was 26.05.2023 and accidentaly i installed over this one the old firmware from your wolfbox site, the version 19.05.2023....camera shouldnt let me install old over new one...and why on your site the firmware is older than in my camera? I just got it few days ago...i know is my mistake, but only in part because the camera shouldnt let me install old firmware. Now i ask your help from where to get the latest firmware, can you help me, please ?
Have you been on the website to update the firmware, if you’ve been able to downgrade it you should be able to update it, the latest firmware is G900(HI3559)_WOLFBOX_6900_20230625.0.4.6-V03
@@scottishsurfer9885 Can you give me the link please? because on wolfbox site for G900 latest firmware is the oild one i got and instal;led by mistake over mine wich was more recent than their update. Their update is 19.05.2023....mine was 25.06.2023

You have installed the gos upside down. It has up written on the top and its meant to be facing upwards. Not sure what the difference would be

Ahh, GPS…… didn’t notice but it works fine and shows the correct direction it’s on the digital compass
