    I can jump both off of one leg and off of two legs back when I was younger. I didn't even have a proper training with jumping both. I think I was naturally gifted with my vertical. I don't know what is my exact inches of vertical but as I remember my highest jumping with the ball in my hands is when my eyes is almost level to the rim. Maybe its a genes coz my family was really in the sports. I was 6'5 tall.

      Hey man, we aren't physicians and can't provide medical advice for you. I would suggest seeing a physician or physiotherapist if the injury or fatigue is impacting your training!
      Here's some general tips to help prevent fatigue in the muscles / joints:
      1) Be sure to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water2) Eat clean. Limit Starchy Carbs and Refined Sugars / Junk Food. Consume lots of clean protein, vegetables, and fruit3) Make sure you’re stretching everyday and warming up/cooling down after each workout, training session, or game4) Ice any sore areas a few times per day, and immediately after activity 5) Get at least 7 hours of solid sleep per night 6) Consume at least 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes after a training session

      Chances are you are developing tendonitis (jumpers knee). It is fairly common and depending on your age, activity level, and training program can be quite severe if you do not allow it to heal. Start your jump training with easier exercises for short durations. If this does not cause pain, gradually increase your training. Be patient, and listen to your body.

    Training for vertical jump, speed, explosiveness involves high intensity with long rest which decreases endurance. To train endurance you go long duration, which isn't good for explosion. In basketball you need both so what is the best way to train them both?

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 років тому

      "Training for vertical jump, speed, explosiveness involves high intensity with long rest which decreases endurance." This is not entirely true - training for explosiveness and vertical jump DOES require max effort and sufficient rest periods but that does NOT mean that you should stop training endurance altogether. Being able to jump high at the end of the game is just as (if not more) important than being able to jump high at the beginning of the game.

      It would be difficult mate but not impossible, you need to make sure that your 80kg is not too much body fat and more muscle

      do you do leg excercises? uf you are and yiu can't dunk constantly it's probably yozr technique, alwqys remember:
      don't stutter step
      more speed=more vertical
      your chest shouldn't be pointed to the ground
      swing your knee (if you are a right-left jumped don't forget to bring your right knee up to almost lchest level)
      try dragging your last step on the ground and then exploding

    Hello i am 5'6" and I can dunk on a 9ft hoop. I only need a fooot to dunk on 10 ft. Does this video series actually add a foot to my verticals before I do it and may not see results

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 років тому

      Seth, the video alone will not add 1 foot to your vertical. However, the exercises and techniques we cover, if applied and practiced, can significantly help improve your vertical jump height...but you need to apply them
