I've been researching into how to jump higher and found a great website at Enyeto jump plan (check it out on google)
Did u try to get into college or nba and where did you mess up
I'm 5'10" and can almost touch 10 foot rim
2:24 And I'll just step on your foot for the hell of it...
😂
I'm 14. 5'5 and just got my first 9 foot dunk because this video. I've always been a 2 feet jumper and right now I can easily grab a 9 foot with 2 hands but I want to learn to jump off 1 foot better so I can do it off 1 foot also
Great job! Send us a video
this helped me a lot adam! love the work u do
how can you instantly increase it if the video is almost 8 minutes
Andrew you have to apply the concepts from the video to see results
THINCPRO Basketball it's a troll 😂
Andrew McHale lmao you're funny
haha we're aware.. Oh the trolls!
😂😂
0:32 the ball slipping from his hand, the smile vanishes and he looks at the other dude in a “did he see it?” way right after catching it 😂😂😂
Very nice video I've Benin waiting for this because there are lots of people out there who are one foot jumpers and need help. Thanks for the video and keep up the great work!👍🏼
Thanks Joseph for the support! Keep up the hard work man!
I’m 5”10 and technique was what I was missing to maximise my jump. Now I can dunk easy 2 hand off 1. Can’t wait to hit this in game
i am 5"11 and same problem, how long does it take to correct technique?
plss post a single leg drills vertical jump,, thanks
These videos have really helped on my vertical. Keep pushing them👌🆙
Thanks Ian glad we can help
I’m 6‘8 and i can already dunk but I’m not happy with my vert hope this helps me🙏🏽🤞🏽
Damn, how old are you?
6'8 DAMN!!! Im 5'10 with a damn near 40 inch vert and can dunk
@@dgo5929 damn how old are you? i'm 6'4 15 years old and can do some basic dunks (tomahawks, reverses), btw i'm a one foot jumper, do you have and fundemental tips for me?
Beksimir workout a lot by doing different types of jumps and takeoffs without a ball. Just work on jumping high in a dunking formation and touch the rim constantly as if your dunking and then try using the ball
id hope u could dunk lmao
Great video! Love the format and the accent haha looking forward to part 2
Thanks man! :)
Improved my jump by a few inches 💙
I‘m 6‘ and after this I was able to hit my first dunk on 3 meters on grass. Thanks a lot 🙏

Thx broo
Great video.
Thanks man! Glad you're enjoying!
Can you please tell me what song is it?
every time I jump off one foot the other toe on my shoe always gets wrecked from scraping it on the ground
Focus on your technique and make sure your takeoff is explosive!
THINCPRO Basketball ok thanks
Damian Lillard, I've heard that scrapping your other toe is because your last step (jumping leg) is too far in front of you. I had the same problem but I shortened up the last step and it didn't happen anymore.
When you were talking about the pole volt thing do you mean not to have your leg too for in front
sorta made me mad how he kept stepping on his shoes haha
I guess Adam's a Nike guy haha
I was out practicing 1-leg dunks at 2 evenings with 1 day break in between.
Now I have some uncomfortable pain around the groin of the left leg (the jumping leg).
Any idea how to avoid that?
Hope tommorow i can it
What is the tittle your background music dude I like it please say it to me
i can touch the rim but not dunk with a basketball.
does this tip work and it is going to help me dunk a basketball?
Is this safe for my knees?
This actually increased my vertical by 1 or 2 inches
Im 14 and 5'9.5 and really want to get the rim before freshman year. I'll update if it helps me jump higher.
I’m 15 and 6’0 but I’ve been trying to dunk on 10 ft and still can’t manage to get a dunk above 9.5.I hope this helps I’ll have to try it,but thanks 🙏
Could u give us more information about the arm swings with the ball?
You want to try and use your arms to use as momentum!
Can some one explain the part of heal to toe action I dont get it what he met their
Can you tell me how tall is Alex ? Thanks
are you gonna make one for 2 feet jumpers?
Stefan, check out our channel we have several two-foot jump videos
I don’t know how to jump off both feet. This natural for me.
nice video I'm a two foot dunker so I try to work on my one foot to get better at it good tips tho I just watch different videos on UA-cam and see if I can take anything from it
Thanks Isaiah! Glad you're enjoying the vids, many more tips to come
I am 6ft and can grab rim to about half hand from dead spot, standing but off 1foot i can do the same i will try doing this tomorrow
Is a two leg or 1 leg better becuase surely 2 legs give more power
Do I dunk off my right or left foot
I’m right handed/footed btw
How tall is Alex?
I'm a pole vaulter and it was kinda cool he mentioned it lol
Pole Vaulting is a great event!!!
I always do this but when I’m running and doing this I slow down
Im a 6'1 pushing 6'2 starter in highschool im 15 and I shit u not this vid got me from touching backboard to grabbing the rim with my top 2 knuckles. Thank. You.
Thanks man and congrats! Glad we could help you out and that you applied the concepts. Keep it up man
Dam u got no bounce at all
@@aidanlosiewicz7045 I was 15 you fuckin dweeb
@@freeman_8107 how tall are u now?
@@freeman_8107 how tall are you now? People say you stop growing around 16 did you grow after that?
I can jump really well with two feet and can lob it to my self and dunk but I can’t dunk 1 foot, hopefully this will help.
Hey for me its harder with two foot easier with only one.
I can jump both off of one leg and off of two legs back when I was younger. I didn't even have a proper training with jumping both. I think I was naturally gifted with my vertical. I don't know what is my exact inches of vertical but as I remember my highest jumping with the ball in my hands is when my eyes is almost level to the rim. Maybe its a genes coz my family was really in the sports. I was 6'5 tall.
I hit the rim ow🏀
When dunking with one hand is it better to grab the ball with the hand opposite to the leg you took off with? for example taking off with your right leg and dunking with your left han.
Ardie Master yes, your reach will increase by around 2 inches I think
I like ya cut g👨🏿🦲
I have tried jumping with and without these tips and when I used them I felt so much more bouncy and got higher
Awesome Lucas! Keep it up man
Can someone explain why I can't consistently touch 9'6 backboard? My one legged jumps are inconsistent and I just can't seem to get speed and control that with jumping
bob chuck gotta start practicing slower fix your approach and jump off
Don't stutter step
Don't slow down
Don't lean towards the hoop stay upright....look at ppl like LeBron and Westbrook or John wall
0:11 song ???
Everytime I jump off one foot, I get a sharp pain in my knees and it doesn't go away for a couple days. I don't know why this is happening please help
Hey man, we aren't physicians and can't provide medical advice for you. I would suggest seeing a physician or physiotherapist if the injury or fatigue is impacting your training!
Here's some general tips to help prevent fatigue in the muscles / joints:
1) Be sure to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water2) Eat clean. Limit Starchy Carbs and Refined Sugars / Junk Food. Consume lots of clean protein, vegetables, and fruit3) Make sure you’re stretching everyday and warming up/cooling down after each workout, training session, or game4) Ice any sore areas a few times per day, and immediately after activity 5) Get at least 7 hours of solid sleep per night 6) Consume at least 20 grams of protein within 30 minutes after a training session
Chances are you are developing tendonitis (jumpers knee). It is fairly common and depending on your age, activity level, and training program can be quite severe if you do not allow it to heal. Start your jump training with easier exercises for short durations. If this does not cause pain, gradually increase your training. Be patient, and listen to your body.
It's jumpers knee every hooper dreads it. I have it it really stinks
It happens to me alot
To get rid of jumpers knee, massage the anterior tibialis muscle it gets rid of jumpers knee completely in like 5 minutes I had jumpers knee for like 4 years and got rid of it in 5 minutes because I massaged that muscle. It’s the muscle right next to your shin bone
I'm 6'3, 15 years of age and weigh 250 lbs, can touch the rim but have been inconsistent and I barely have much muscle. any tips for leg workout and such to apply with a standing vertical? Also just Used this vertical jump calculator and found out i currently have a 24 inch vertical but i want to get up to a 30 inch before my sophomore year
Get a solid plyo strength program, add in some weighted workouts, adjust your diet to cut processed sugars, junk food, and practice proper recovery to cut rebound time after workouts, soreness and fatigue. Vert Shock is a great option!
Velocity hey man,
I'm your exact age and height but the difference is that I way 200 pounds flat and have been dunking for the past two months. My biggest recommendation is to stop eating so much and trust me it'll help. I was 220 this summer and could barely get off the ground but once I lost my weight my jumping ability just came 👌🏾
What's some good leg workouts to increase calf strength
Steven Stanford calf raises
@@christianadams2491 hell nah, squats, lunges and no jumps are effective
Sem Kn nah calf raises help a lot what u mean and the stuff u listed does to
What do u do if u can get the ball over the rim and have the ability to dunk but I just can't push the ball through it always goes to the back of the rin
Hey man! Work on your strength / conditioning and jump technique to gain some inches
I been knew to jump off one leg
Hm i m gonna try this i hope this will help i m 14 years old 5'10 my vertical is 20 inch also i am one foot jumper
How tall is alex
I hope it will help me!:)

THINCPRO Basketball how do i manage core exercises, strength exo, foot quickness exercises,défensive quick nés sexercises, jump exercises in a week withouth too much stressing my musles and making sure i get results for my dunking sooner. i've heard that overworking ruins the progress. So. coach adams. how do i plan my training with your exercises so that they are efficient. thank you in advance. you doing a great job
Prioritize your training depending on your goals and your strengths/weaknesses! You should also make sure your recovery, diet, sleep, and training schedule is in check to help prevent burnout, fatigue, overwork, or chance of injury
THINCPRO Basketball Thanks !
THINCPRO Basketball What type of recovery and diet can you recommend to a 14 year old ball player

Great video but Im pretty certain Alex was not impressed with you stepping om his shoes for the sake of the demonstration 😂
you look frighteningly tall how tall are you coach
come on men what is your music background tannnnn tananannnn tananannnnn tanan tantan
Training for vertical jump, speed, explosiveness involves high intensity with long rest which decreases endurance. To train endurance you go long duration, which isn't good for explosion. In basketball you need both so what is the best way to train them both?
"Training for vertical jump, speed, explosiveness involves high intensity with long rest which decreases endurance." This is not entirely true - training for explosiveness and vertical jump DOES require max effort and sufficient rest periods but that does NOT mean that you should stop training endurance altogether. Being able to jump high at the end of the game is just as (if not more) important than being able to jump high at the beginning of the game.
THINCPRO Basketball What is the best way to train both the most effectively?
No internet at the new house. Watching youtube at work like :P
We don't condone slacking off at work... but #Ballislife
F*cking thank you my guy i tried this and now every jump is higher cause i know how to run up
Hi adam im 5'9" and 80kg
So can i dunk?
It would be difficult mate but not impossible, you need to make sure that your 80kg is not too much body fat and more muscle
i need help , i can dunk with my left hand , but i cant dunk with my right , im a right handed btw
Sometimes that is just how it works so don't be discouraged! You can dunk👍💪🏀
How can I tell if I'm a one foot or two foot jumper?
friedchickken try both , whatever feels the most comfortable
I’m 6’2 and can’t dunk yet I better be dunking by March
Yo can you teach me how to finish when I'm directly under the basket, I mess up so many times when finishing that my teammates don't even pass it to me
breathe, dont rush the shot
If your directly under the hoop focus on getting spin on the ball if your going for reverse layup same thing
I can dunk on a good day that i feel bouncy , but when I jump of 1 foot I feel like uncomfortable if you know what I mean... I do lots of excercises but no result
Should I start lifting weights? Im 16 6,1
Alex Carusoo BEAST
you should not do weights until you are done growing
Beksimir thanks sir
Mona yeah athletic freak I know
do you do leg excercises? uf you are and yiu can't dunk constantly it's probably yozr technique, alwqys remember:
don't stutter step
more speed=more vertical
your chest shouldn't be pointed to the ground
swing your knee (if you are a right-left jumped don't forget to bring your right knee up to almost lchest level)
try dragging your last step on the ground and then exploding
how tall are you both?
5'11" & 6'9"
im 5’11 choking 🥲
I always drag my right foot why ? 😔
Prise_500 you need to just force yourself to not and you could be going in at a weird Angle
How tall is alix ?
Its Alex and 6ft
THINCPRO Basketball ok thanks and thanks for the correction ❤
how tall is alex?

im 14 and I’m 6’1, every time I try dunking the ball hits the rim and doesn’t go above rim. Hopefully this helps

Hello i am 5'6" and I can dunk on a 9ft hoop. I only need a fooot to dunk on 10 ft. Does this video series actually add a foot to my verticals before I do it and may not see results
Seth, the video alone will not add 1 foot to your vertical. However, the exercises and techniques we cover, if applied and practiced, can significantly help improve your vertical jump height...but you need to apply them
I am 6'4 and can't dunk :(
