Vert Shock completely transformed my game! I couldn't even dream of dunking before, and now it's a regular part of my game. You can find it here while it's still available: ua-cam.com/video/XSwHcXpwD0o/v-deo.html
To anyone who wants to increase his vertical jump as well:
    - Focus on exercises that target the muscles used in jumping, such as squats, lunges, calf raises, and deadlifts. Incorporate both bodyweight exercises and weighted exercises to build strength.
    - Plyometric exercises help improve the power and explosiveness of your muscles. Include exercises like jump squats, box jumps, depth jumps, and bounding in your workout routine.
    - Work on your jumping technique to optimize your performance. Practice jumping with proper form, including using your arms to generate momentum and landing softly to reduce impact.
See you guys when you reached your vertical jump goals!

This video is a godsend for anyone who wants to improve their dunking jump. Too many UA-camrs focus on power exercises to improve your vertical. They will do nothing if you don't know the proper technique. Too little credit on their technique is given to athletes who can jump.
Personally I never balled competitively so I never really worked on this but always thought that my technique was very poor as I had no idea how to jump at a hoop.
Back then I also ran a 4.9 40, also with poor technique. I trained with a track team for a winter and improved my forty 4.6. Not world beating but a big improvement for me. I tell this story to encourage anyone who wants to improve their jumping to heed the advice on this video. Beautifully broken down steps and practicing the footwork as well.
I also believe athletes will improve power by practicing these techniques.
    Well done!

You don't have 38 inches of vert. I'd bet my mortgage on that. Cause you'd have two handers, 360s, windmills, and probably an eastbay.
38 inches of vert is dumb high. The NCAA average for football is 32. Yeah no. Not at 14. We'd know who you were if that were the case. You'd be State level in everything, and getting offers.
