      work on forearm and grip strength

    • @ThincPROBasketball
      @ThincPROBasketball  7 років тому +15

      Grip strength is important. You can work on this buy squeezing a tennis ball, or practising palming the basketball. Players who can't palm the ball, use the momentum of the basketball to keep it pressed against their palm as they raise it up for a dunk!

      joshua shark I have the program. it works for both feet. Their are also exercises like horizontal bounds and 1 legged box jumps that work on your one leg jumps.

      This could be due to overtraining or Central Nervous System (CNS) fatigue but is most likely a combination of both. A good test to measure and track your CNS is a very simple tap test (here is a handy app you can use smudge.io/cnstaptest/).

      1) Be sure to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water
      2) Eat clean. Limit Starchy Carbs and Refined Sugars / Junk Food. Consume lots of clean protein, vegetables, and fruit
      3) Make sure you’re stretching everyday and warming up/cooling down after each workout, training session, or game
      4) Ice any sore areas a few times per day, and immediately after activity
      5) Get your sleep schedule on track and make sure you're getting at least 7 hours per night

    • @sonofnaphtalifromisrael8531

      your vert is higher but your shorter , so the vertical you have over him goes to the inches he has in height over you

    • @justafan4806
      @justafan4806 7 років тому +2

      TheMVPKing 98 its because when you jump with 2 feet you have more time in the air to perform moves compared to a one foot jumper that has all his momentum heading towards the net. dont get me wrong, you can still perform moves like a windmill and so and do crazy stuff like lavine from the 2016 dunk contest but a 2 foot jumper has the better advantage. Just look at one of the best dunkers in the world(justin darlington). He is a 2 foot dunker and has incredible hand time allowing to perform different moves. Hope that helped.
