Too cliche to go for a “Valentines/Galentines Day inspired Baby Names” list for next week? So all things love, friendship, sisterhood, pink, hearts, flowers etc? 🙈💕 🌹 🍫 🍷
I would love to see this list! My father was born on Valentine’s Day and his middle name is Valentine. To honour him and my mother we gave our firstborn the middle names Lee and Valentine.
Same, I love the name but I think about Michigan and get upset every time. They’ve replace ++++ amount of pipes, but that doesn’t stop the residents from having ptsd or trust issues with the people telling them that it’s okay after they’ve already been lied to so much! They lost their loved ones, their hair, a normal life, etc. They stopped handing out water bottles in 2018 but some people didn’t have clean water until 2019. It’s 2022 and some still won’t drink the water from the tap! It’s truly heartbreaking!!
My daughter's name is Emerant. I named her after my midwife's daughter. My midwife (Janessa) discovered the name in a 1940's name book nestled in an old Wyoming library. It's a unique and romantic vintage name that never made it to our modern era.
That’s beautiful! So would the emphasis be on the first syllable? EM-er-unt or the third syllable, like em-er-ANT? And do you ever call her Emme, Emmy, or Emmie? 💜 That’s one of my favorite nicknames for girls!
@@eaglefoot23 actually I just said her name a few times and thought of this thread! We pronounce her name somewhere between the two... -ant and -unt. The ending is very subtle and gives kind of a rhyme quality to the whole name.
Love this idea! My toddler's name is Soren Sage and I think his name sounds perfect together. But my eldest is Eric David, and I'm really gutted about the middle choice!
Maybe an updated “rainbow baby” name list? I’ve tried keeping track of names that mean new beginnings, hope, happiness, etc… and now that I’m FINALLY about to start my IUI procedure, I would love some inspiration ❤️
The historical name of the town I grew up in was Galena, which is an important source of silver and the natural mineral form of lead. I wish I liked the sound of it more as a name because I would love to give tribute to my childhood home in a name someday.
Okay, I’m adding Citrine (nn Trina) to my long list! My Cabbage Patch doll’s name was Trina June, and I’ve always liked both names, but Trina felt too nicknamey for me! But Citrine sounds more refined! Citrine is also my birthstone! 💛
Love the list! Especially Lazuli, I have always had Lapis Lazuli as a necklace and stones around my home, but never thought about it as a name. It is gorgeous! I am pregnant and if its a boy his name will be Jasper, which is a stone as well ...also, sending love and strength to your sister, you, and your family ❤
Lovely list - just want to mention the name Amethyst for a little girl. My friend from High school was named Amethyst and I think it's such a unique and cool name. It's also easy to pronounce and easy to spell.
Mae Olivine is my baby’s name❤️❤️ Mae is my late grandmother’s middle name, and I was smitten on Olivia for years and years but it got too popular for me so Olivine was perfect. Took a while to sell the name to my husband, but thankfully he realized how much I loved it and let me use it🥰
A gemstone in the Dominican Republic is the Larimar. “Mar” means ocean / sea in Spanish. It’s said that the man who discovered the stone named it this way because his daughter’s name was Larissa ; so he combined the two. Larimar is a beautiful blue gemstone.
I know a 3 year old Lazuli and her name suits her so much, full of energy and unique vibrancy. A couple of people have commented about the pronunciation, but I've heard it both ways and the girl I know is pronounced La-zul-lee.
I cant imagine having to continue ur job and making videos with all that's going on in you and Naomis lives right now. If ever you do need time PLEASE PLEASE take it and the universe will gift you both a wonderful miracle as you've gifted us the beauty that is the podcast and have helped so many ppl ❤️
My grandfather was a gemologist and always pronounced Lazuli as ‘La-ju-lye.’ It would make a good name for any gender because it has the same feel as names like Elijah and Lyla.
Loved this list !! Currently pregnant with a surprise baby number 4! 3 boys so far , we find out in a week what we’re having . I like Banks , Walker or Baker for a boy & Given or Layne for a girl , but I’ve now just added Olivine to our girl list ! Such Beautiful name xx
First and middle names are often called 'given' names at least in Australia, so it might seem like a form that didn't get properly filled out... Obviously if you love it, go for it, but just something to consider 🙂
I like Lazuli! Wow. Here are my additions: - Rocky- couple UA-camrs named their baby Rocky and at first I was put off but then it grew on me. It really works. - Perla - Spanish word for pearl. So cute! I could see that being double barreled - Beryl - one of the 12 precious stones that make up the walls of heaven mentioned in the Bible. Wearable, like a cross between Barry and Daryl. - Onyx - you’ve mentioned it before but it’s so cool and powerful - Esme - short for esmeralda, the Spanish form of Emerald
Can you do a list for the first baby after years of infertility? Not necessarily rainbow baby, - but baby after a long journey. So more joyful. We’ve been trying for 3 years and WILL get pregnant this year! I’d love to hear some names meaning journey (both because we’ve been on a journey but I’m also excited for the baby’s future journey) and also waiting (my baby was worth the long wait). Or even “finally!” Or names meaning “impossible” or “miracle “ because I technically shouldn’t be able to get pregnant but know that I will. Ugh I could go on. It’ll be such a special and joyous occasion to finally meet our baby when we get to the finish line of this endless race. Love all your content and praying for your amazing sis 🙏🏽
Aw, I hope u manage to have a baby after your long journey, maybe a name like Eliséo (meaning - God is my Salvation) or Emilio (meaning - Eager, which sounds very fitting for you) or Lucio (meaning - Light). Or if a girl maybe a name like, Alyssia (least common) / Alysia / Alicia (like an actor & a singer) (meaning noble) or Mila (meaning - Miracle for you or can mean gracious or dear 1) or Myla (meaning - Soldier) hope these help you for your future baby :)
Or maybe Jaeden - (meaning - Thankful) or Billie - (meaning - determination or strength) or Ashlyn (meaning Dream might be perfect for you) or Alisa (meaning great happiness) or Elyse (meaning - God's promise) or Eliette (meaning - God has answered, might be perfect) which name is your fav, hopefully you + your partner love at least 1 of these :)

@@SJ_Strum 😂 it’s fine. I got it from you like 3/4 years ago. So it was due to come up again. I just went “Nooooo. Now more people will be drawn to it!” 😂😂
Happens to me all the time! 😅 But I’d rather other viewers of this channel name their child a lovely name like Coral than something super trendy like Jaxton! Which one was your name in the video?
I love this list. We are due a girl in a few weeks time (baby number 5!) and Goldie is our #1. We have a G surname so thinking Gigi may be a nice nickname option! If baby was a boy Flint would 100% be going on my list - love it!

I actually knew both a Lazuli and also a Golden! Both lived in Virginia and were under age 20 in the 2010s. Lazuli had a sister named Indigo and the parents were a birder (these are both bunting names) and a jewelry maker. So the names worked tor both professions which is really neat. Golden went by his middle name which was a much more common male name. Video requests: 80s and 90s names due for a come back. Feminist names: names that come from real historical figures that broke ground for female empowerment. African and/or Indian names.
@@eaglefoot23 Woman in her early 20s. Her dad is a cave protection coordinator/geologist and her mom is a potter who also caves. Hence the limestone/earth inspired name. When she was a kid, she went by her initials, TJ. Now she's Travertine or Trav.
I love Garnet for girl, but I could also see it for a boy. I like Topaz too, but probably too adventurous for me to ever actually have considered using. .
I love Garnet for a boy!! It sounds like an adorable little gentleman to me! And I’m the same with Topaz! Very punchy, but beautiful! It reminds me of a similar name I’ve always loved: Topanga with the nickname Tansy, but I’d never be brave enough to use that one either! 😂
I need some help. I'm currently pregnant with a little boy and I'm due in April. We have decided the middle name will be George as that is a family name on my fiancé's side. We have a 3 year old little girl called Ellana Mae. I'm really struggling to find a name so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😊
Congratulations! 👶🏼 Hope it’s okay to offer a suggestion! I’d maybe consider something like Rowan or Oakley for your little boy as one meaning of Ellana is “tree” in Hebrew and could be a lovely, subtle link to your daughter’s name, as you’re “growing your family tree”, so to speak! 🌲 Xx
I love Love Coral , Flint and Lazuli( I think Lazuli could be an interesting Lily alternative .) I also love Peridot for a boy with the short form Perry and Emerald for a girl with the short form Emmy.
I grew up OBSESSED with gemstones and I’ve always loved gemstone names! My favourite from this list is Topaz 💛 my grandma gave me a ring of hers that I always assumed was topaz, but I don’t know for sure!
Looking for name ideas for our twins! We’ll be finding out the sex 11th April 💕 We love unique, uncommon but still classic/vintage names. open to anything really! We already have Elsie Willow Orla Emerald 👼 Arlo Peter 🌈 Arthur Benjamin 🌈 Iris Evangeline is a definite if one of the twins is a girl! ❤️ I also really love Opal but I'm stuck for a middle name?
My sister and I both have gemstone middle names as a little theme; Jade and Amber (very 80’s). I like Flint out of that list and another gem name I like would be Opal. I’ve always understood the pronunciation of Lapus-Lazuli to be Laz-You-Lie Another video would be themed on ‘word names’ I’m hearing more things like Poet and Danger so think that would be interesting.
- I really like Coral - I can't decide on Gabbro, it's a maybe ... I think I might say it more "bro" at the end maybe - what do you think? - love Ochre, Sapphire (obsessed with the Greek mythology trend!), Flint (I love a River/water name so adding that one to my water list too!), Topaz - love for a November baby! And Gold/Goldie! I like both Olivine and Lazuli ... think I would go for Lazuli though!! Maybe Slate too ... (I also love Cole & Jett) but I don't like Slater which puts me off slightly.
Flint is a Disney prince in Rapunzel I think.Ochre is nice just difficult to pronounce.topaz is a nice boy name got one similar on my list that's super rare.Lazuli is nice for a girl.
I love this list! Rare gems 💎 such uniqueness! I’m born in September so Sapphire being my birthstone I never ever thought of it as a name, but the nickname Saphie 🤩 love it! One time you mentioned the name Onyx and that’s really been on my list for a middle name maybe next baby! But the name Flint so cool!
I always thought Lazuli was pronounced La - zu - lye? I recently saw Peridot mentioned as a name option. I thought it was quite cool, Peri would be a great nickname.

Lately I’ve been obsessed with “Love” for a nickname and I think that would work perfectly of Olivine!
My husband calls me Love. It doesn't fit with my name at all 😂
A friend of mine used Love as a middle name
Coral is a living animal! Fossilized coral can make the gemstone I believe
The historical name of the town I grew up in was Galena, which is an important source of silver and the natural mineral form of lead. I wish I liked the sound of it more as a name because I would love to give tribute to my childhood home in a name someday.
Galena is really beautiful!
You could use Lynn or Lena or Alena as a nickname
It definitely works as a name, as along as you like the sound, of course. In Russia/ Ukraine the name Galyna/ Galina is Common for girls.
Amethyst has always been a fave! Also I recently met a lady with a daughter named Carnelia after Carnelian

I know a boy named Coral!
Lazuli is such a gem! ( haha no pun intended) but it gives very like Indigenous Hawaiian or Polynesian names like Leilani
Slate is pretty cool 😎
I grew up OBSESSED with gemstones and I’ve always loved gemstone names! My favourite from this list is Topaz 💛 my grandma gave me a ring of hers that I always assumed was topaz, but I don’t know for sure!
Olivine is so pretty
i like lazuli!
In Spanish from Lazuli theres the name Azul which like the color means ‘Blue’ color it is a girls name

Iris Evangeline is a definite if one of the twins is a girl! ❤️
I also really love Opal but I'm stuck for a middle name?
My sister and I both have gemstone middle names as a little theme; Jade and Amber (very 80’s).
I like Flint out of that list and another gem name I like would be Opal.
I’ve always understood the pronunciation of Lapus-Lazuli to be Laz-You-Lie
Another video would be themed on ‘word names’ I’m hearing more things like Poet and Danger so think that would be interesting.
- I really like Coral
- I can't decide on Gabbro, it's a maybe ...
I also think it is Gab-bro, rhyming with low.
We had Agath on our list, for our last baby.
I loved this so much.
Aquamarine, Ametrine, Amethyst, Crystal, Selenite, Onyx, Opal, Pearl, Ruby, Larimar, Jet, Tourmaline, Moonstone, Peridot, Angelite, Aventurine, Bronze, Copper, Silver, Carnelian, Amazonite, Seraphinite, Malachite, Jasper, Turquoise, Kyanite, Fluorite, Diamond...
Please do another baby names tag💕
I like the name Citrine, it's a healing crystal
My two favorites are Gemma & Jasper 💜
I LOVE Goldie! We have a G last name so I pushed for it but couldn’t sell it 💕 💛
As soon as you said "Lazuli" my brain went "Ahhhh, Lapis!"
... I play too much Minecraft :D
Oh ha ha - I'll have to ask the boys as they play! SJ x
@@SJ_Strum It's a fun game! :D

Thanks Clara Jo xx
I'm surprised you didn't pick Ruby.
HELP!!! Trying to think of 1 syllable middle names to pair with Winifred. So far all I can come up with is Rose which I like but don’t LOVE. Thanks!🥰
I would love it if you can do Scottish and Irish names because the name Baxter is an Anglo-Saxon and Scottish name that is so lovely for a boy
There’s a young artist popular in North America who’s stage name is 24k Golden, fun fact is that Golden is his actual first name!
Wow, that IS a fun fact! I never would have guessed!
Love topaz! ✨
I always thought Lazuli was pronounced La - zu - lye?
I recently saw Peridot mentioned as a name option. I thought it was quite cool, Peri would be a great nickname.
You had a name dilemma on the podcast for a brother named Odin, I feel like Slate would be a cool name for a brother
