Just bought two books from Wonderbly! I got the multi buy discount and your code so both work on the one purchase which is great! Love Winoc, definitely one to add to the list!
My Christmas/rainbow baby due 12/22 will be Ruby Simone. The color red for Christmas and Simone means “He has heard” and since I prayed hard for this rainbow baby, he heard and answered ❤️
Our surname is Winter 😆 so no winter or nature names for us 😜 my husband says if we have a daughter, he wants to name her Summer Autumn. NOPE NOPE NOPE. 😂
Nevada is a cute name! Although to me it's more summer since the state of Nevada in the US is mostly desert and usually 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit year round lol. I would never have thought it meant snow capped
My favourite Christmas/Winter names are Nollaig and Noelle. Nollaig (pronounced null-ig) is a unisex name, most common used for girls here in Ireland. It is the Irish word for Christmas. I also love the nicknames Nully and Nelly.
Winika I think is the spelling for the Christmas Orchid. Although I love both ways 💘❣ and Winoc & Whittaker too! I love Apricity, Clove/r, Beacon, Aquilo, Valo, Lux, Alto, Solstice, Eira (and Snow, & Lumi - desperate to see the new Christmas movie), and Enya too 🥰. Eirlys means snowdrop too! Love Nevada (and Nirvana). I like a lot of American place name names such as Dakota, Denver, Raleigh, Montana and Memphis 😊
My baby is due Christmas Day and my partner and I are going with Aspen as her first name. There are so many beautiful names and it was very difficult to choose but we’ve finally found what fits for us :)
Wow that’s stunning! My daughter Evelina was due Christmas Eve but just coincidence as Evelina was always my girl name...and it was the first letters!! Huge congrats!! Xxxxx
So jealous. I LOVE Aspen, but husband vetoed. He said, “Really? You want to name our child Ass-Pen?” (We’re American) and I was so gutted because I really don’t think anyone would say it that way, but I couldn’t get him on board. We ended up with Juniper though so similar tree vibes.
What a beautiful list of names! I always look forward to your name ideas. I got a copy of "The Little Boy Who Lost His Name" as a baby gift about 5 years ago when my first child was born. I thought it was such a sweet, creative gift! My little boy's name is Ernest, so he meets an elephant in his book too. I have had two more little boys since then, so I should probably get them their own stories!
Anise is my sister' s middle name and I absolutely love it!!!!! Winica, Eira, Apricity and Aquilo,Whittaker and Orion are smashing!!!!!I I also think Wintry would be awesome for a Christmas / Winter time baby , since Winter is such a very pretty but, becoming popular name. The books seem like a great gift ideal for my own little girl and my two little nephews and two little goddaughters as well.
Solstice is so beautiful. Nickname could be Solo, with its adventurous Star Wars vibe, and generally an independent spirit. Regarding Snow Blossom, Edelweiss Blossom would also be a pretty flower name, with Ada for a nickname. I would always be singing the hauntingly beautiful Edelweiss song in my heart. The internet says: "The symbolism of purity and innocence. It is [also] widely used as a symbol of rugged individualism and exploring the wilderness due to its growth in the high altitudes of the Alps."
Listed Winoc! Gorgeous name, has lots of possibilities! Had already listed Solstice from a previous video of yours... I just need the chance to use it! 🥰
My husband’s and my son’s name is Ignatius Draic which means fiery dragon. Draic is the Irish spelling for “Drake” and he’s a double rainbow baby who was born on Mother’s Day and my husband’s birthday. There’s a story behind his name but it’s lengthy.
Can you do a boy and girls name that has a connection to the north? I’m from northern Norway and My husband is British and we want a name that works in both languages AND has a connection to the polar circle and above😛 our sons name is Norris and that means “man from north” and is actually an old Viking name, but we can’t find a good name for baby no. 2 🙈
I am currently pregnant, and due in March of 2022! I had watched a lot of your videos trying to help build a name my baby boy. Which I got two names from watching your videos. However, our boys name I’ve never heard you mention. His name is Conan-Grey Hayes. Conan-Grey being his first name, and Hayes his middle name. Now Conan here in the US is currently unranked, but I love it and it means “little wolf.”
This is an absolute wonderful gift idea! I immediately ordered a book using your code for my little niece. Her birthday isn't until February.. but at least her godmother has her gift ready!!
I'm having a baby girl in may I've always loved the name Pheobe from charmed but it's becoming a more popular name and wanting a more unique similar name any suggestions
My baby was born on Monday morning. We had a different name picked out but he arrived and everything changed! We have called him Gabriel which is accidentally very Christmassy! We call him Gabe for short and so happy we changed our mind and chose something that suits him. xxx
My fave names of this list are Winica (though I’d spell it Winneka), Eira, Orion & Valo. Also like Tanzy, but would probably use it for a future pet’s name instead of a baby.
Ignatius has been my name crush for ages. It’s also the main character in the book Horns which is one of my favorite books. Nicknames used in the book are “Ig” and “Iggy” and I just adore them
Hi Sj!! Loved this video🥰 I want to suggest a cool name that we use in Italy and matches perfectly with the theme of this list: Nives. It’s a girl name that means snow (the word snow in latin translates as nives)💕
I'm due next week (9th) and still can't decide on a name for my December/winter baby boy. I'm liking Orion from this list, but not in love with it - why is it so difficult to choose!
@Baby Name Lane thank you so much for the reply! Its a boy 💙 I'm due this month! I had Grayson on my list in the beginning. The only two top names right now for first names I have is Phoenix and Memphis. Life time decisions are very difficult lol. Never thought I'd still be undecided this far.
Hello 👋🏼. I'm looking for name suggestions for my baby girl due in February. I would like to honor my late mother-in-law and my mother either in the first or the middle spot. My mother-in-law’s name was Kimberly and my moms name is Lee. I even thought to combine them as "Kimberlee" for the middle spot to honor them both. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!! Side note, my oldest is Noah Thomas Dudley. Thank you!!!
I go to a jesuit college (founded by St. Ignatius) and our mascot is named Iggy! I could never use it because of the association for me but I think its so cute for a nickname for Ignatius
Have you ever done a list for common last names? My future child will have the last name Williams, third only to Smith and Johnson (2nd) and I want them to have something original. Serena & Venus Williams, Pharrell Williams, Pooka Williams Jr. (Cincinnati Bengals player) - a lot has been done. Maybe there’s some others out there with common last names who would be interested in a video devoted to that. Cheers!
In the western United States, there's a chain of grocery stores called WinCo, which I'm afraid is too close to Winoc for me. But outside the western United States, I think it would be more wearable.
I have an entire list going for myself as well as my sisters unborn baby! I’m keeping Otso for myself tho; it’s too cute🥺 Also Altos -in music- are the lower voices or those with richer, warmer timbres💕 A lovely name, and definitely writing it down!
Lovely list! Being in the US I wouldn't personally use Nevada but it's honestly a really nice choice, I like it a lot more than Nirvana. I love Ignatius, my favorite variations are Inigo and Ignatz. Anise, Winnica, Enya, Solstice, Clove, Zima, Winoc, Whittaker, Valo, and Alto/Alta are all darling! I think I prefer Orso, Urso, or Otto to Otso, but it's an intriguing choice and I love it's inclusion here. I grew up on Beacon Street so that's always what I think of first when I hear that word 😅

What are people’s honest opinions of the name Winter for a girl? It’s extremely rare in my country (as well as Autumn) but Summer is common.. I’m not sure why
Honestly, I had hoped you disregarded the comments on your last video (what I eat in a day). It would be so nice to have a video about twin names! I’m having twins and want the names to go together but not be too matchy
I could only see Bacon when Beacon came on screen! 😂😭
Thank you for the inspiration. Are there other nice names that have LOVE in them other than Clove or Clover?
Nevada cracks me up because it's so hot there I don't think about winter at all haha.
My baby was born three weeks ago. His name is Alexander but known as Xand or Xander.
What a unique nn Xand! Love that
Congratulations on your baby boy! Love the nicknames.
Oh Katy!!!! Massive congrats - so so happy
For you :-))) I love his name so much xxxxxx
Congratulations!
Eira and Apricity, so gorgeous and unique! Thank you for all your beautiful lists
Another name very fitting for winter is Albus or also Alba, meaning white, bright and also wise. Definitely love those.
Eira is so pretty, too bad I don’t think my hubby would go for it, even with the vintage feeling
It is so gorgeous
I've got a colleague called Irina and I love it!
