My brother in Christ, Badger is a 30 year old married gun owner from Canada living in the US
if i could i would do it 100 times
In regards to the pipe bomb bit: Badger has said something to the effect of, "If furries can afford a $10,000 fursuit, they can afford a $10 pipe bomb to my mailbox".
he ain't wrong lmao
Jokes on them, I own 5... They're out gunned
@@speeder382 You can't use 5 tho.
@@imvictorhugs Nah can't, mental disability you can't get a gun.
@@Resetium the best part about that is furries are massive stem nerds. They'd make an exoskeleton to hold 5 guns at once out of pure spite.
Badger completed Marine basic training, but dropped out on graduation day to pursue a business degree, or at least that is what Google says.
I am pretty sure he went for officer school but I could be wrong lmao
@@highspeednerf4661 either way he did things
@@thejuggercat wait really, i thought he just got the jokes from his discord.
@@MasterCode86 he still might idfk, but he did train and he might understand some of the memes.
ua-cam.com/video/6QUucRP7GCg/v-deo.html
he talks about that here
"You can train to be able to run an 80+ pound pack."
You also unknowingly make another tradeoff in that, in the form of severe back problems
The compressed cartilage in my knees agrees with this sentiment
Me being 20 and already having a destroyed back can also agree
My knees sound like god damn rice krispies
“We have determined that your injuries are not service related”
Sorry, had to do it 😂
To answer at least one of your questions: Badger is married, so he's okay.
The pipe bomb thing is a Pansahat reference where it is explained that if someone has the budget to get a multithousand dollar fur suit then they can afford to throw a few dollars together and pull a unibomber
Yeah because a lot of furries seem to work in high income fields.
@@zeratul____1228 they were even involved in creation of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine
@@zeratul____1228 IT specifically.
Badger is not enlisted in the marine corps. But he did go through Marine Training. Upon graduation, he was offered to be enlisted with a Lieutenant position, but declined for a career in Investment Banking. He does have weapons training, and also owns a Glock 17, and an FN-Five seveN.
I thought he went to officer school? Though I might be wrong.
Also russian badger was ROTC and almost became a marine officer but turned down the commission
"If they can afford to spend 3000 dollars on a fursuit, they can afford to mail a pipebomb, I ain't messin with them." - Russian Badger
The joke with him being in a dark room is one time when the light in the room burned out on him while streaming
Btw the gore in this game is pretty good and actually rips off limbs and blows up heads, I think badger had that setting disabled because UA-cam would dislike it

"I don't know what FNAF is, but frankly, every reference I've seen has creeped me out."
The full name is Five Nights at Freddy's, and it's a series of horror games about haunted animatronics in a pizzeria chain. If references creep you out, then it did its job well. X3
16:54 nah hes pretty ok, in his BADGER'E BEST OF 2022 he says that he doesnt go out often anyway but reserves 1 day to hang out with his wife, but other than that he works most of the time just streaming or making content for youtube and hes happy for it
1 day a year?
@@49mozzer in a week
He was born in 1992 and was in the ROTC since like age 14; he got all the way up to completing officer training school but turned down his commission for a gig in the financial sector. as to him being in the reserves or at least somehow involved with such things, I'm not sure, though it would make some sense.
Badger did marine training, but dropped out at the very end. Also Badger is not single, he is married. Also fnaf is a horror game so that’s why it’s a little creepy.
Fun face at one point the longest range sniper kill was recorded using a M2 Browning with a scope by US Marine Corps sniper Carlos Hathcock during the Vietnam War.
But what’s the actual range?
@@lionsoldier1179 its easily googleable. I think its still in the top 10 on the list If you Just Google "longest sniper kills"

if I'm correct, NATO's 7.62 is a .308 Winchester or just a 7.62x51mm NATO, I usually remember by knowing the 7.62x39mm is an AK47 round and a 7.62x54mm is the SVD Dragunov, It's nice to see a reaction video again after awhile!! Keep up the content!
I thought it was 5.56?
@@zacky1010 Nono .308 is the same as a 7.62x51mm NATO, 5.56x45mm NATO is smaller than a .308 and the bullet caliber itself for the 5.56 is a .223 Remington
@@joviboss7181 gotcha, thank you
I love the random tangents he rants on, it's both interesting and hilarious.... people collecting funko pops, my gosh
He was technically an officer through rotc, but never fallowed through on it, he wasnt a full time marine
Man, i usually don't like when people that React to stuff talk a lot, but when there's someone insightful with actual good tips and tricks, especially you being pretty above average smart it's nice to hear you talk about stuff that happened or your takes on ideas. There aren't many channels i don't skip the dialogue of the Commentator, but You, Chicago Reacts and Airier are different
Renegades React doesn't talk over the video a whole lot either, they pause to have their convos as well like 98% of the time.
@@user-yy7tw9hv9n Which is good because their videos are like 98% convos. 🤣

17:39 being that fang is a horror game that checks out.
7.62x51 is 7.62 nato and badger wasn't a full on marine. he went to some kind of marine corp officer training thing back in college or something but he realized it wasn't really his thing so he quit. i don't know all the details and i'm prolly missing things but i remember hearing him say some things like this in a video a few years ago.
As a FNAF fan I am not surprised the references you have come across, freak you out at all. (There is definitely some stuff that is really concerning...) all stemming from what was once just some click and point game about trying to survive the night against a bunch of haunted animatronics, that did go beyond that into VR and free roam territory but, yeah. Pretty straight forward (outside of the story)... and some weird crap definitely goes on with the fandom itself alright. And I'm glad I am just a very casual fan because holy crap.
You were looking for 7.62*51 NATO
Also badger wasn't actually a marine he went through Marine ROTC for college and then realized he didn't want to do it as a career so he just paid for the portion of the scholarship that the Marines paid for because he wanted to focus on making dumb UA-cam videos in his own words
Edit: it mixed up he actually wanted to pursue a business degree, he talked about it on "the first podcast"
For the record, badger is married
As I remember there was a sniper during Vietnam. Who used a M2 as a improvised sniper rifle and got ridiculous long distance kill with it, by shooting one shot at a time with the BMG.
In the game Insurgency Sandstorm there is an option to turn dismemberment on. He hadn't had it on which is why the footage seen in the video of badger is essentially one of the depictions of the game. The other shows 50. BMG headshots in a much bloodier way. For example hitting a man in the arm with the gun would not only kill him ingame but you could also see the arm flying off. Sorry for my bad english. Ain't a native speaker
You know wouldn't it be funny if the US army still used the the M45 Quadmount on the .50 cal, as patrol fire support in case there are no IFVs with the units.
I'd Imagine it'd be like Korea when Chinese soldiers charged at a UN force and were shredded by the .50 cals.
M14 is a battle rifle better at range than a standard assault rifle do to more bullet weight, velocity, and longer barrel but horrible compared to true DMR's.
M14 is literally just a modernized M1 Garand as one of the reasons it was adopted is that it used the same operating mechanism and could be produced on the same manufacturing machines as the M1 Garand.
Its also one of the reasons I love the Mini-14 so much its the closest you can get to a modernized M1 carbine.
4:15 - according to Wikipedia, "The Tupolev Tu-16 (NATO reporting name: Badger) is a twin-engined jet strategic heavy bomber used by the Soviet Union. It has been flown for almost 70 years, and the Chinese license-built Xian H-6 remains in service with the People's Liberation Army Air Force." This doesn't help answer anything.
Funnily enough, I just recently saw some Ukraine combat footage where the headcam wearer was using almost the exact same M240B optic setup as seen in this video.
I think I saw Badger at a furry convention once. He was perusing the MANPADS section of the Dealer’s Den.
The m14 and its modifications is a great weapon system dude. It’s just harder to train on. The full scale cartridge isn’t in the same vein as the 5.56. Its an amazing weapon though when you get good at being a marksmen or get used to battle rifles. It’s among the only weapons we are allowed to use in the arctic and Alaska because of its far effective range and its reliability.
16:36 about the part where you said badjur depicts himself in twctical gear something, it's more of like, I believe I heard a few years ago where badjer said that animating mouth movement is too much of a pain so you'll notice that most or every character he uses covers their mouth.
That or the character has one movement bone for the mouth like Cacodemons and Skellies.
@@philippeleprohon4823 yeah i forgot to mention that too, thanks
I forget what it’s called, but I think badger did something that’s a more intense JROTC. Somebody’s gonna correct me if im wrong
Badger completed basic training and was a Marine option NROTC Midshipman but opted out last minute to get a business degree instead.
4:20 actually Badger finished basic Marine training, but dropped out on Boot Camp graduation to instead pursue a business degree.
Something very uncanny about remembering Paul's older videos in which he occasionally describes rich/famous people's meaningless quest for more achievements, only to now see him pursue a silver plaque...
Not that I think it's wrong of him to want it, it's just that it makes me realise I'm getting older, I guess Cx
"My Coins are living pieces of history"
SO ARE MY TOYS, BEEYOTCH.
Badger is 30. If he was in right as he turned 18 means the possibility he was making content if he was active on a 4 year contract.
The whole pipe bomb thing is just a meme
Badger completed was in Marine Corps ROTC, and completed a course at Quantico, but didn't commission.
So the UCP was actually designed to get stained with the environment. The issue was CSMs wanted nice clean uniforms and would never let them get to that point.
that g36 optic was used in the 80s and was quickly removed from new batches of rifles because it sucks
5:01 badger is 31 and in a podcast he stated he completed basic Marine training but dropped out on the day of his boot camp graduation to pursue a business degree
FNAF is a poplar indie Horror Series created by Scott Cawthon. It's popularity only grew from the amount of secrets and hidden story it had, plus a lot of big time UA-camrs played the games.
@MHGR 17:36-17:41 FNAF 1 or Five Nights At Freddy's is a Horror game where you play as a night guard at a restaurant (Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, I think) against haywire (to put it mildly) animatronic mascot out to "send you to the other side". On the surface level, what you have to do is survive for five nights against killer robot mascots. The lore on the other hand is...deserves dozen or more videos worth of explanation.
*Edit: Remove the "in a nutshell" statement and added videos for lore explanation suggestion
That’s just on the surface. Trying to find the lore however is just bugfuck insanity. The timeline goes backwards, forwards, sideways. It’s one of those games where it raises more questions than answers.
It’s the American version of Kingdom Hearts.
@@KawaiiNeko333 Yea, on hindsight, maybe I shouldn't have said "in a nutshell". I forgot how much of a rabbit hole the lore for FNAF is, even more so the fan theories surrounding it.
Badger WAS in boot camp and almost went through to the Air Force but he decided to go through with his degree. He’s 29 years old last time I heard.
Everything about your army experience, both during and after, seems so much more positive than Zach Hazard.
Then again, Zach got THE shitty assigment when he was there
17:38
My man, trust me, *you do not want to go down the FNAF rabbit hole*
3:40 only in one of all of those shots he wasn't using a bipod. so no, the game doesn't depict it as a lightweight rifle, although sway isn't as strong as it should be. similar thing with LMGs
I remember the big surge in Afghanistan because my cousin got deployed there then got sent back home he lost his leg below the knee from an ied
In one of badgers vids from a while ago he said that he was in ROTC for the Marines and on Graduation from OCS he declined his commission to pursue finance
I was watching this while drinking stuff and when i heard this,i couldn't hold and spit my drink everywhere:
First shot: nothing
Second shot:legalized nuclear bombs.
At 7:06: That optic is the standard optic of the G36 service rifle of the german military. It has a magnified optic and a back up red dot up top. I'm no soldier but yeah it looks impractical at best. Greetings from G36-Land
Badger is like 30 something with his Vegeta looking headass hair.
16:01 hey man you didnt have to stab me deep like that, im only enjoying what I can now because I couldnt when I was younger 🤣🤣🤣
"What the hell is wrong with that optic holy smokes" from what I understand that's actually the standard optic for the German standard issue service rifle the G36. But it's like a built in scope
why are there 476 likes on the video and only 2.6k views this is BS the man deserves more
As a Heckler & Koch enjoyer, I love that the dumbass G36 red dot hybrid is in the game.
That optometrist-looking abomination was actually given to the Bundeswehr when the G36 was first adopted.
_It was not well liked._
Happy new year Paul and by the way badger is in his thirties and married.
When it comes to that "tiers to hobbies" it's always a perspective thing. The example of collecting figures that were branded to kids feels dumb to a extent since you have sports stuff that are displayed regularly in some peoples houses(my dad had walls of racing cars that just collected dust) with the only difference being that it's marketed to adults. My perspective on the bobble heads called Funko pops is that there lazy in design for following what's basically a template with very little changes to the silhouette of the template. Meanwhile someone else would say my retro game collecting, anime robot collection, and RC car hobbies are childish since they've seen them as kids thing to do.
I’ve seen people take ACU’s and soak them in dye to make them better camo
9:40 In france, there's a cross-corps sport event called the Enormous/Intense Dolo. 50 tractions, 6 arms only ropes climbs, 100 pushups, 100 flexions, running 400m with a 40Kg bag, 10 60Kg weighlifts, all in under 30 minutes. Sound horrible and lets you understand the kind of UNITS you find in the military...
Then you hear that the 2019's records were 11'23''and 13'03''... Nothing to add here.
The sniper rifle is firing an anti-material round are those same rounds in the belt-fed Browning😮
Best part about the M2 is its also a very reliable sniper
Apparently he was a Canadian marine ROTC cadet so he was qualified to be a 2nd LT but he never pursued a military career
Didnt think this Day could get any worse and then I get personally attacked for one of my hobbies. Yey
7.62x51
UCP worked great once broken in, the problem was that the uniform didn’t last long enough to break in.
16:43 Pretty sure he’s married, as for his life, was described as eat, sleep, workout, UA-cam. 0 hobbies, all UA-cam.
14:20 Why does this sound like Bob the Tomato? LOL
Loved the videos @MHGR! Can't wait for the next one man! Few things to answer some of your Questions.
The M240B (Commonly called "240 Bravo" or just "240" by the Marines) fires 7.62 × 51mm NATO Rounds. Not surprising since it's an American Licensed Copy of the Fabriqué Nationale MAG which got it's most Notable Service is Israeli Service during the 1960's/1970's.
FNAF, Short for Five Nights At Freddy's, was a Series of Horror Games that's still pretty Popular among even my own Age Group (For Reference I was born in the Late 1990's). The Main Line went on for about, what 5 games I think, and my God was the Death Scene such a Jumpscare. I remember seeing @LaurenZside playing the Collection in VR, and I almost Jumped out of my skin in spite of Knowing full well what was coming. There's been several Off-Shoots even today with the Current one that I'll see @Vannamelon have for her Animation videos with Various Popular Culture Names like (Admittedly) Doki Doki Literature Club or even My Little Pony. It's the One where you have to go around the Pizzaplex, yes that is what it's called believe it or not..... *SECURITY BREACH!!!* That's it, that's the newest one.
Anyway, Speaking of Popular Culture.... Bingus was a Hairless Sphyx cat meme that was out in March 2012, so unless the Marine Corps Manuals were Updated at some point to show something like "Hey, Were all cool here in the Marine Corps" and actually changing the B from "Bravo" to "Bingus" without anyone's knowledge, it's safe to say that portion of the video's a Joke and a Very Funny one considering it's Presentation. The music in the Background while the A-10 Warthog Pilot was sitting in a White Lawn Chair was a Reference to "Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition" and the Series Character Virgil who, Understandably, has "Samurai-like A-10-ish" Powers with his Katana known as "The Yamato" which he can use to Slice and Dice any demons he comes across. The Yamato can also allow Virgil to Slice a Portal to the Demon Realm or other Parts of the World out of thin air.
Hope this Proved Helpful in some way man, and hope you get to 100K man!

7.62mm x 51. I'm late to the party, but there you go.
FNAF, aka Five Nights at Freddy's is an indie horror game series made by Scott Cawthon in which you play as a security guard at a pizza place and are trying to survive the night shift as the animatronics are hunting you trying to kill you. There is so much to the lore of the games that you'll have to watch an hour long video to comprehend it but I think I've summarised the games good
Dudes bringing .50 rifles far closer than what's warranted makes me wonder if they yearn to return to the age of musket and bayonet, with all this talk about huge bore and close range.
Fnaf is a tome management jumpscare game about animatronics which half of the people play for "lore".
LOL why wait two weeks when you could stop drop and roll😂
Yeah i agree with him, funko pop collectors are pretty low on the hobby tier. Meanwhile i'm in the warhammer 40k, train and gundam models tier.
In one of his Ghost Recon Breakpoint vids, he has a picture of him Marine camies, and above that is some text he edited in stating that he was in ROTC. And for those who don't know, definitely Navy ROTC. Because, and I'm not trying to offend the Marines here, the Marines are attached to the Navy as a Department of the latter. Therefore, when it comes to the ROTC program in College, those want to go into the Marines as an Officer go through the Navy ROTC program, then OCS. Badger said he decided not to commission as a Marine Corps 2nd Lt. Correct me if I'm wrong in any bit I said.
Listen man, say what you will about Funko Pops, but if I want to buy myself a plushie, by the will of the gods I will get a goddamn plushie.
"what's up kings" AHAHAHAHAHA

7.62 X 51 is the NATO round.

I think he was in NROTC and opted out of commissioning after completing OCS.
You should watch some CSGO surfing World Records and Bhop/KZ map World Records. Really crazy what theyve done with the movement in that game
