Well the “thermal drill” is quite literally an industrial grade thermal lance, and the smaller drills are hand drills mounted to doors, so the smaller drills it would make sense the small drills would jam.
And it makes sense the thermal drill breaks because the pipe in the middle (which disappears when it breaks) basically uses itself as fuel with oxygen as an oxidizer to make it burn. So the pipe basically destroys itself while drilling.
As somebody who has worked with metal, can confirm, a regular hand drill would need to stop and cool down a ton of time to get through that. Unless you want to drill with an overheating drill and a melted soft af mishapen bit

Legit, 100% all those lines from the cops are canon voice lines in the game.
The McGriddle is just a McDonald's breakfast sandwich. And yes they are the real voice lines.
I remember Sniper Elite (the first one) had a setting for multiplayer where the grenades could be "Realistic" or "Hollywood".
If the grenade was set to Realistic, you had to throw it as far as possible, and don't go any closer until it exploded, or you would just die.
I don't recall the diameter numbers. But it was something like, 8 meters for Hollywood, and 50 for Realistic... Maybe I can find these numbers...
I could not. I know the setting was called "Grenade blast radius", but I didn't find the actual numbers.
Probably 15 to 25 meters/yards. I recall hearing that be about the lethal range of most grenades. Hence why they're usually thrown from behind a cover or into a cover or around an obstacle, because you cant throw it far enough to be safe from shrapnel.
@@thesocialistsarecoming8565 I checked. It was 8 and 20 meter radius. (Close to 22 yards... so it's fairly close)
IRL, frags usually have a good chance of hitting you with fragmentation >50m
But blast itself killing you would be at most 15-20m
@@hadesoftheunderworl, wha? The shock wave is dangerous only within a couple of meters or less. Even the MK3 grenade, containing about 240-280 grams of TNT, was capable of killing a person only within a 2 meter radius.

I'm pretty sure that's actually how Chineese warriors thought when they went up against Japan in WW2.
That went about as well as you'd expect
41:00 Cry of Fear is the only game I've played where dual wielding pistols is clunky as hell and understandably so. In that game, you have to put away the other gun, reload it, and then swap it out to reload the other. Plus, you're inaccurate as hell where you have to be right in front of the enemy you're shooting to hit it. So, something you can do but isn't exactly a practical idea to survive the onslaught of your own personal demons.
Or survive an actual police force. As this one man found out:
ua-cam.com/video/GL-Mf32xwHs/v-deo.html
All the lines are 100% part of the game and those special enemies in lore were formed to specifically counter the Payday Gang.
as far as I am aware of the only time dual wielding guns was a thing was in the 18th century before bullet wasn't invented. The pirate Edward thatch wear a belt with what I believe to be 7 or 8 flintlock pistol, because the time it would take to reload one pistol back then would normally take a minute to do so it was faster to drop the pistol and grab a new one so dual wielding pistols was common back then.
I'm having the feeling I have already bought this point up before, I'm sorry if I have.

Yeah, RPG-7 grenades do NOT have a minimum arm distance, they're impact explosives that will go off if the tip is struck after the safety cap is taken off. Although that may only be older ones, it's possible that newer ones do have a minimum arm distance, although it's been so long I can't remember.
Edit: So, I can't find any information about whether newer RPG-7 grenades have a minimum arm distance, but I did find out that they, along with many other portable anti-tank weapons, have a backup fuze that will automatically detonate the explosive if it hasn't hit something, likely to minimize the chance of collateral damage from missing the target or UXO.
RPG grenades arming distance is around 20 meters.
UXO?

Have you heard of Rimmy down under gaming? He does quite a few arma videos, there's even some videos with Warhammer mods installed
“Gatling” guns are 45 caliber and up, “mini “gun is 30 cal or 7.62, and “micro” are below 30 cal and if they don’t have a rate of fire above 1500 or 2000 rpm ( rounds per minute) and the caliber they are either considered multi barrel machine gun or a revolving canon(20mm)
Edit: forgot to add, and if the have multiple chambers and bolts it is considered a “repeating” gun
I mean it’s just semantics. Minigun is a specific model, the M134 Minigun, and it’s 7.62 ONLY. It’s called “mini” because it’s based on the M61 Vulcan, a Rotary Cannon, firing 20mm.
Gatling is just a style of rotating barrels with an external power source. The slowest rotary cannon I know of is the GAU 19 which fires 50 BMG rounds at 1300 RPM.
“Micro” is also specific, it’s just a 5.56 rotary. As for why Paul made the mistake with the Minigun, he was probably confusing it with the Vulcan 20mm.
Besides the following videos of Payday 2 Badger released, I highly recommend watching his Enlisted video. Particularly since there are some very important takes on WW2 guns that must be heard by people who know guns.
Juggernaut gear isn't a bomb suit and it's going to be twice as heavy as any medieval Knight suit of armor you are not to running in that things it's meant for shock value it tells the enemy you're going to kill more of them before they kill you
I thought a minigun that fires large caliber ammunition is a rotary autocannon, and a minigun is a minigun because it fires smaller caliber bullets. Guess not.
It's called a minigun because it is a miniaturized version of an aircraft-mounted autocannon.
Honestly the only thing that can kinda make sense would be letting members of the gang back into the fight. They probably have Bain basically threatening the commander's families if they don't cooperate and make a "questionable decision" of trading.
In my cinematography class my teacher told us to treat viewers like they are idiots... Being vague can be is not worth it... the average viewer will not get your master IQ vague Easter egg reference that reveals the bad guy and the story of the next 4 movies in advance... You can put it there for the actually smart viewers but but then you need to bash it into the heads of the average guy while making them feel smart...
Just remind your teacher how the movie industry is dying based on stupid things like that being taught.
@@Lowlightt Maybe I explained it badly (wouldn't be surprised I took the class in finnish 3 to 4 years ago) but how he explained it made a lot of sense... And me saying bash and make them feel smart is propably where this miscommunication came from. My point remains. The average person will not get vague hints you want them to figure it out you need to draw atention to the important things. How ever to make it too obvious is bad aswell... It is a fine line that is easy to get wrong.

Funny you mention the digital camo pattern, because now I'm remembering of a mikeburnfire campfire story video where Zach goes on a rant about UCP camo how terrible it was
UCP sucked because they tried to make it blend in with everything. Therefore it blended with nothing. Digital patters are alright still, but there is newer better stuff on the market now. Estonia and Canada have good Woodland/ Temperate patterns still in use.
“ to use a taser you got to get tased to carry pepper spray you have to get pepper sprayed”
*Wondering what happens when you get to use a rocket launcher*
your videos are so good, they deserve more views. instead of just having no reactions and saying the vid was good at the end, you actualy give explanation for all of this.
One funny detail I think you'll like: the Donald Trump mask with burning eyes is called "The God Emperor"
Game constantly goes on sale at a mere $.99 for the base game. I really REALLY suggest giving it a try!
Digital camo and camo with small hexagons have been found in some studies to be the best to conceal against NVGs which is probably why we switched to it as we imagined we'd be fighting more foes with nods
The thing that makes civilians so ridiculously annoying is that, specifically, if you point your gun at them, they will freeze in place. This will happen even when you don't want it too. You can be shooting at police, a civilian decides to make a run for it, runs through your line of fire, and then stops in their tracks right where you're aiming. It's also very common for civilians who you told to get on the ground to stand up in the middle of a firefight, which also frequently results in them getting gunned down. I honestly wish there was just a way to tell everyone who isn't ziptied to get the hell out of there.
It feels weird but cool to be learning things while watching someone watch a Badger video
as far as I'm aware, there are 2 theories for why the freeze response exists.
1. to become less threatening so you're less likely to be attacked
2. your subconscious has decided you can't escape so you're dissociating to try and reduce the incoming pain and mental trauma
that's a really sweet beard you rocking, mate. thanks for the video 💪

While I understand your concern in saying reality of things, I don’t think most people are that dumb, we play games and we know it’s fictional nonsense we don’t really need an explanation of the obvious. However my main criticism is the comment about VR being a murder simulator and “altering your brain” 100s of scientific studies have been done now on wether violent interactive media affects someone in such a way and the answer is No, please do some research on subjects like that before assuming something.

In payday lore, the Clowns are so infamous the us government and interested parties funded an ENTIRE special operations division dedicated solely to answering their heists. One can justify the digital camo and flashy designs as thats their entire purpose; to scare, intimidate and stand out. Civilians know to stay clear, the clowns know the gloves are off. In proper lore, its actually the Death Sentence uniforms that are canonical, the DW/Mayhem designs are more for show and fun as those are the casual difficulties.
(Also, the designs he shows are exclusive to Deathwish/Mayhem. In Normal, hard and very hard they don more olive green and grey-blue, and in Death Sentencs they don a more sandy configuration)

What if you do the freeze and then well they're looking at other people and you basically become invisible either the flight except very slowly
I did some research into this, tungsten is used in ammunition for its high penetration and devastation to steel armor on tanks. It also in theory is very durable and strong, capable of blocking ballistic threats very well. But is so dense that it makes mobility difficult and is dangerous when put on a human due to how heavy it gets. Without getting into alloys of course its about as dense as solid gold of which gold is 19.3 g/cc while tungsten is 19.28 g/cc. But its also highly conductive and heats up really easily as well, technically making you bot ha walking lightning rod and walking barbeque in theory. But that also means in cold temperatures tungsten can be rather useful..... if the mobility issue was also resolved. Just some research into industrial use, chemistry of tungsten and some minor attempted military applications for human tungsten armor that is public.
Actually that was one of the justifications of using digital camo in the first place it helped hide you from early UAV's with shit cameras spy planes and satellites and the older night vision our enemies at the time were using. Because EVERYTHING back then was so low resolution... This was due to our successes with maneuver warfare in the invasion of Iraq where the Iraqi army had no idea where we were because we were moving to fast for them to pin down. The Idea was the only way enemies would be able to locate our troop movements in a peer on peer conflict was via UAV's.
The thing about the lasers on snipers is that there could theoretically be a system where you can use the laser to sight in an approximate location for where the bullet should land. By mounting the laser underneath on some kind of rig that would adjust the angle of the laser relative to the barrel by the requisite fractions of a degree, then you could have a setup where at the designated range the round lands directly on where the laser is pointing.
This immediately falls apart when you consider how in the fuck you're going to see a tiny red dot at 200+ meters out. You don't even have to get into all of the technical issues.
Issues such as there being a mechanical limitation on the minimum angle increment meaning at further distances you can only point at 500 or 505 meters because the rig can only step 0.001 degrees at a time. Or the fact that there is still factors to consider such as wind direction, temperature differentials, mechanical accuracy of the weapon platform, or even the fucking rotation of the earth if you are so touched in the head to think that a laser sighting system is going to help with 1+ mile shots.
------------------------
Now then, if you wanted to get real sci-fi, you could potentially see some form of laser being used as part of a futuristic sighting system that automatically collects data and generates a targeting area where the bullet can land that gets more or less wide depending on the distance and the amount of data it can glean from the environment.
But at that point, just create a long range version of the smart pistol from titanfall and be done with it.
Fun Fact: The cloakers are formal special forces dudes.
Another Fun Fact: The bulldozer is indeed wearing an EOD suit, meaning .30 caliber rounds from a minigun or .50 caliber rounds from a GAU-19 would go straight through him in real life.

just a heads up you can reload whilst duel wielding its just a touch tricky, but once you get it down the hard part is aiming but again with a load of practice its doable....heck even i can do it with my airsoft pistols although 1 is a g17 and the other is mk23 socom....well i can only reload one of them as it only has a single mag and is my backup due its low profile where has my socom i can reload with the g17 in my other hand with little to no difficulty

I'm a fairly new player to Payday 2 and it still has a pretty active playerbase
@@idk-cc1ep ah sweet! I plan to get back into it once I got a PC again. I miss running Hoxton breakout on Deathwish and earning 12-16million and a lot of xp.
