    I waited when Dan comes with DJI RS 3 and RS3 Pro. The video is here! Great scene with a car in introduction. I am going to buy DJI RS 3 Pro for my Nikon setup Z6 II , Z 24-70 2,8S and Z 14-24 2,8S. Pro version can tracks any objects on display gimbal and will be more comfortable. Well, I definitely don't have any word on it and it feels a bit soon. But also keep in mind with new gimbals, the functionality might improve but for the most part, stabilization stays the same so maybe it has some new wireless feature or ability to control a camera but the main purpose of a gimbal is stabilization and for the most part, that ability has been pretty static over the years

    Hey Dan, I find balancing my cameras on the rsc2 way easier than the rs3 especially on the tilt axis. What's your experience when it comes to balancing on both. Also is the bummer of having a non-detachable on the rsc2 something to be concerned about especially if you have the intention of using the gimbal for a long time and not planning to upgrade to the latest fad? Did you notice any stabilization difference between the rsc2 and rs3? ( I didn't )

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  2 роки тому +1

      Hey! Not sure why you think it's more difficult...is it the screw locks vs the clamps? In my experience the screws get stripped over time so I'm glad to have the clamps. I'd say the RSC2 is going to have a max shelf life of 2-3 years between battery drain and the screws stripping where the RS3 should have a much longer life. But that's my guess. I'm really not seeing a noticeable stabilization difference

    • @joshmcdzz6925
      @joshmcdzz6925 2 роки тому

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  Рік тому

      Means so much! Yes, I usually us autofocus with the DJI since I'm shooting with cameras like the Canon R5 and Sony A7SIII which all have amazing autofocus. I typically select my subject and let the tracking do it's job. Occasionally if AF is not working, I'll manually focus and make sure I'm keeping the same distance from my subject but most of my cameras will autofocus better than I can manually focus anyway

    This is a fantastic comparison of all the differences!! At least 2 of the early reviewers said that the 3Pro had even better stabilization than the 3. Is this true? • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  2 роки тому +1

      Appreciate that! So essentially they are about equal in stabilization. The RS3 Pro does have more powerful motors but you would only notice that difference if the load was not perfectly balanced or maybe if you had a ton of force trying to move the gimbal like hanging it outside a car

      So the Raveneye I believe can work with the Lidar system and that can also work with both the RS3 and RS3 Pro. The Transmission system (with the monitor) does not work with Lidar on both gimbals and only works on the RS3 Pro because it needs the larger power supply in the pro if you don't externally power it and it weighs quite a bit

    If i got RS2, and I used it for my R5C + 15-35mm + Cage + external battery.
    Should I got with RS3? I just don’t like the Pro

    • @learningcameras

      So the RS3 Pro is basically the RS2 and the RS3 is the new RSC-2 so the RS3 might be a bit small for that setup. Why don't you like the pro?

    If I'm using the Komodo, it has autofocus. And it transmits the footage wirelessly to apps. So... ??? What is the point of Pro??

    • @learningcameras
      @learningcameras  Рік тому

      It's a larger gimbal so you have more room for larger rigs, it has more powerful motors, it holds more off center setups, and the grip is larger

    What about the NIKON Z9 do you guys count this as a camera as well or you think its an another lvl, lots of people bought this camera and we are so happy about it its an Amazing camera better than the Sony A1 and all other ones in the market.
    It's so bad watching you guys attacking a big company like NIKON.
    I wrote this comment because I was waiting to see which one more suitable with my camera.

      I definitely don't attack Nikon. I have several reviews on the Z6 and 1 video on the Z9 vs the R3. I'm a huge fan of quite a few aspects of Nikon cameras and used the Nikon Z6 as my primary video camera for my youtube videos until the Sony A7SIII came out. About the Z9...it's absolutely amazing and I love it. Had it for a few weeks but Nikon asked for it back. Hoping to get it back though for more content! It's heavy and massive but if you can deal with that, I prefer it to the Canon R3 and in some ways to the A1 even though it costs less. The focus system is a massive step up as well but it still slightly trails the Canon and Nikon system in a few cases

    I don’t own a gimbal yet.. Wonder if the RS3 pro is worth an extra 300 bucks over the RS2 pro…

      It's definitely tough to justify. If you are just using the gimbal for stabilization, there really isn't a ton that has improved. It's more in usability and some additional features. If you live on a gimbal though, those usability improvements start to come in handy
