I often make almost that exact breakfast sandwich everey Saturday except instead of hot sauce I add a small amount of home made kimchi to give the kick and a little extra texture.

Enjoying the fact that even though he wasn't shadowing this chef the whole day, Alvin still gets surprised by the fact he's getting fed lol.
I love Inga's mellow, yet bubbly personality, and Andrew adding a bit of chaos into the mix is just awesome.

I still think this channel is a blessing for kitchen affictionates. The pure joy in cooking that everybody in this channel brings. Great video Inga!

I'm in a similar situation - one of my neighbours (who I've still never met) cooks delicious things every single night - it always guilts me into cooking too once I get back home lol

She’s teaching us not only how to cook but also how to enjoy cooking! I really enjoy how she interact with viewers while she cooks. It needs lots of skills😃💓
I would love to see Andrew, Alvin, and Rie to try this same challenge! I'm pretty sure they all watch Binging with Babish, and Andrew Rae has so many recipes. I just wonder what Babish dishes they've all wanted to try.

It’s his new thing! As a recipe developer myself, I am impressed that he can keep them looking that nice while cooking all the time! Short and unpainted nails over here.

I was taught to always stir your pasta every time you walk past the pot and salt the water like the ocean 🤣. Works! My pasta is always perfect. This was a great video, you guys work well together. Much love and be blessed 🙏

When you are chopping meat in a processor you can add a handful of ice chips or crushed ice to keep the processor from heating up the meat.

This was so good! I’ve loved Babby since he used the Fraser intro, and Inca is a new favorite from the last year or so.
okay but... imagine desserts by dessert person herself, Claire Saffitz for 24 hours...
Inga, in my experience, if you want a more "airy" ciabatta, the dough needs to be more hydrated. Also, I suggest to make the folds on a surface (you can use a metal scraper to help you), as it's easier and you are gonna be more precise. When I used to make ciabattas, the dough was a lot more sticky and I used rice flour when it was time to cut it (because it didn't add any more gluten).
Something important I think people should know when making burgers. You do not want to mix your salt into the ground beef before making the patty, it gives it more of a meatloaf texture than you want. Burger should be formed and then seasoned liberally on the outside of the patty.
I think its the same with eggs as per gordon, if you mix it with the white it becomes grayish... They always add it at the last second or only on the yolk
@@SuperJinx10 it's has to do with how salt interacts with proteins and begins to denature them I think, but you're right!

@@aishamapara4803 no most Americans just fry their bacon as is. Tbh I think the water would take the crispness away and normally water and oil don’t mix so I’m surprised it didn’t explode
adding water helps cook the bacon without browning it too quickly. once all the water cooks off, you can cook the bacon to crisp more easily

I don't cook probably, never will.. but watching Inga cook is kinda calming
There’s a trick to making perfect breakfast sandwich eggs. You actually want to break the yolk softly on one side and drag it out to fill the white as much as possible, and then flip it for a few seconds. It does cook faster but you can get the gooey center without the yolk burst when you squish the bread.

As someone who’s never watched Spongebob, I always assumed by the name, that a Krabby Patty, was a CRAB Patty………which now that I think about it, would be a little traumatising for a kids show about under sea animals lol. So it was a revelation to find out it’s a beef patty instead!🤷♀️ (logic aside anyway!😂🤷♀️👍🏻)

i was skeptical when you added the water to the bacon for the breakfast sandwich but seeing the results made my mouth water...
You can also skip the water and cook your bacon in the oven at 325F and it will be crispy and perfect without having to sit and watch it the whole time.
This is so good! Great way to start the weekend.

My love for Inga just sky rocket to level 10000 when she mentioned the apple strudel from Inglourious basterds 😍 I too had an obsessive craving for apple strudel and have been searching for the perfect "real life version" of it ever since watching the movie (I have not discovered it yet, perhaps I'll need to give the recipe here a try! 😉) ❤️❤️❤️
