if the jury can even focus on this drawn out slog fest at all then this is going to be such a terrible witness for the state. It gave steele a much needed opportunity to essentially cement reasonable doubt for the car rental murder and they even played their own video where a member of ysl says that ysl has no organizational structure, everybody gets money / commits crimes independantly, and actual members of actual gangs can be a part of the group no matter what gang theyre in. I don’t feel like defense focused at all on him saying YSL been its own thing even way back then .. which is why other gangs didn’t like them because they didn’t operate like a traditional gang .
