My acupuncturist recommended Qigong exercises before bed, to benefit the liver/gallbladder, in order to prevent insomnia between the hours of 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.--thank you Kseny!

I had a bit of a Gall Bladder attack today, it passed thankfully but will be incorporating these exercises into my daily Qigong practice.

I have been feeling much better. Not sure if it is due to qigong or dietary changes but overall things have improved.

Hi, thank you for asking. Well, the autoimmune issues require more in-depth approach often incorporating herbal and acupuncture treatments along with the exercises. A regular practice of qigong is a good addition to help the body and mind maintain a good blood and energy flow throughout the body. Are you new to Qigong?

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write. I'm glad you find the exercises helpful! The general rules is we breathe in as we open the body, we breathe out as we relax. You can follow this pattern unless advised otherwise.

Ive been having a lot of trouble with my health lately. No western doctor can help me and I live a long way from any proper TCM professional. Is it normal to get a bit woozie with release of stagnation in the liver?
Hi Josephine, what do you mean woozie? lightheaded? tired mid way through the session? Usually when the energy if flowing better we feel better. When the energy is not flowing we can feel off

What happens if the gall bladder is removed due to gall bladder stones?
Hi Clark, although the physical organ is removed, the energy is still circulating along the channel. They did the study with people whose limbs were removed and they could still feel the pain or tingling. The gall bladder is a partner of the liver, so practicing these exercises is beneficial for energy circulation to the liver.
