Chris I just lost my little brother a week ago to Suicide. He was 33. This song hits so close to home for me. I tried to be there. We had openly talked about his struggles. I tried to keep him from drinking. He promised me he was gonna be ok. I love and miss him so much. Everyone Cares, Love Harder

I was born in 07' and my biggest regret was not being old enough to see this live. Incubus is my favorite band and always will be. 🫶 My mom was pregnant with me when Light Grenades came out, and she listened to it on repeat so much that the lyrics and songs are practically engraved in my bones. Incubus slayed this so hard. Love yall

I compare it to one of my other discoveries this year that I love (late again), Would? with Layne Stayley and Alice in Chains. Power, emotion, harmonies...the goosebumps factor.

I was really in to Incubus just before 9/11. I had their albums and listened to them on the way to and from work. I remember driving home from work on 9/11 from Dulles Airport to Arlington VA after the attack, early release. I was against traffic. As I crossed Lee Highway, there were no cars, just thousands of people walking. Traffic was so gridlocked that walking was quicker than driving. Tens of thousands of people abandoned their cars. I lived a mile and a half from the Pentagon and could smell it burning when I got home. I walked down there the next morning and stood on the hill where the Air Force memorial is now looking on the smoldering remains of the west face. A friend of mine died there in the Navy Command Center. I walked in his funeral cortège in Arlington Cemetery soon after. All of these things well up as I listen to this.

    Lyrics :
    Sometimes
    I feel the fear of
    Uncertainty stinging clear
And I, can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear
    Take the wheel and steer
It's driven me before and seems to have a vague
    Haunting mass appeal
But lately I'm beginning to find that I
Should be the one behind the wheel
Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah
    Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there, I'll be there
    So, if I
    Decide to waiver my
    Chance to be one of
    The hive
Will I choose water over wine
And hold my own and drive?
    Aah ah ooo
It's driven me before and it seems to be the way
    That everyone else gets around
But lately I'm beginning to find that when
I drive myself my light is found
Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah
    Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there I'll be there
Would you choose water over wine?
    Hold the wheel and drive
Whatever tomorrow brings I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah
    Whatever tomorrow brings
I'll be there I'll be there
    Turutu turutu turututuru
    No no no no no
    Turutu turutu turututuru
    No no no no no

This kid has a great voice! I never knew the name of the group until now but I've always liked the song. I'm old-school so I appreciate real talent. I always check the live video version of the songs I like to see what the artist sounds like live. I must say I'm very impressed with his voice 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

There was a time I was very depressed after grieving the loss of my dad and my family changing and falling apart. I moved to another state with no friends just my man and I and yet I was so depressed and would stay in bed for hours and then gained courage for going to walks and looks the beautiful ocean and sunset 🌅 this song came with me every day as tears fell down. Y face and gained the courage to be there in the future and face what will happen.
Two years later, I fell in love with this place and met wonderful people can’t even count how many new friends and acquaintances 😇😊
And mother ocean, oh yes thank you and I love you for healing away my sorrows.

holy shit! I was not expecting that. That was amazing! Especially the part when the whole band jumped in. I wasn't expecting that AT ALL. I thought is was going to just be an unplugged version. I'm not going to lie. I cried when that happened. This band is far beyond talented. Just...I... I CAN'T EVEN.
