I genuinely think it's pre-recorded lol, though I am no expert at deducing these things. If it really is live it's an impressive imitation of the studio version.

Ive also noticed a lot of American bands use these notes in popular songs. For example the main riff of bulls on parade by RATM is F# and E or Megadeths A Tout le monde is in F# , E and B and both of these songs are based upon freedom and breaking free of something. Most American 80s metal songs and ballads use these notes a lot of the time and most of those song were love songs or freedom songs. So what I'm trying to say is if you're writing a song about freedom, love or a song that grabs people's attention in the first couple seconds of the song then use these notes because a lot of songs that use these notes are usually pretty big hits and usually have the same theme.

Great band, and good dudes! Met them in Richmond in the 90s and was impressed. They came to HOB, where I worked the back door and they actually remembered. I took Jose and Kills on a search for a remote controlled helicopter, and was almost late for soundcheck. I wasn't working that day, so Jose smoothed over my boss and gave me AA pass and we hung out. Had a blast. My boss was not but hey, he got over it. Hoping they come back!

Incubus was one of the many bands back then that actually played and sang with feeling and had the talent to back it up. Nowadays it's very few and far between that we get something as real as this.
Brian Siemers seen them live in Rochester ny and every song they would switch instruments like musical chairs it was crazy they all can play every instrument and song
Truly the best, I love this band since I'm 13 years old. I am now 38 and I am still their #1 fan. I introduced Incubus to all my friends since SCIENCE and Make Yourself album. And until now, they are still thankful that I introduce this kind of music to them. Their live performances is as good as in Studio or even more exceptionally speaking. Thank you for all the inspiration that you given us. Hats off to you guys.

Great band, and good dudes! Met them in Richmond in the 90s and was impressed. They came to HOB, where I worked the back door and they actually remembered. I took Jose and Kills on a search for a remote controlled helicopter, and was almost late for soundcheck. I wasn't working that day, so Jose smoothed over my boss and gave me AA pass and we hung out. Had a blast. My boss was not but hey, he got over it. Hoping they come back!
This song now reminds me of my wife’s grandfather who passed away 3 months ago. He was one of the biggest figures in my life and changed my life in my deepest darkest time. Love you popop

The emotions i get from this band are too much, the memories from this song just brings me to tears, i remember singing this who i thought really loved me and i remember my dad singing this to the top of his lungs, i mostly miss my dad though, RIP ROBERT MURRAY

Always been amazed by the bands ability to stay perfectly in sync and their timing is always on point live. Gotta give it to the drummer always keeping everyone in perfect tempo each live set.
Incubus was one of the many bands back then that actually played and sang with feeling and had the talent to back it up. Nowadays it's very few and far between that we get something as real as this.
Real music. Just real. I was listing to Third Eye, then others and found the beautiful Incubus again... It's been a while my friend💜

Truly the best, I love this band since I'm 13 years old. I am now 38 and I am still their #1 fan. I introduced Incubus to all my friends since SCIENCE and Make Yourself album. And until now, they are still thankful that I introduce this kind of music to them. Their live performances is as good as in Studio or even more exceptionally speaking. Thank you for all the inspiration that you given us. Hats off to you guys.
