Back when music wasn't just plays, likes and subscribes. PJ made you dig deep into your soul, pull out all the ugly parts and lay them out for everyone to see.
I’m almost 54 and I just got really into PJ nearly 4 years ago. I was always a fan but didn’t buy albums or delve much deeper into their music. Then I got satellite in my vehicle and got sick of listening to various channels so I plunked myself on PJ station and I fell in love! My husband would tell everyone that all I ever listen to is PJ! That was true until the U2 channel came along. Then I bounced back and forth between the 2 channels and pop over to Ozzy’s Boneyard now and again. I LOVE Eddie’s voice and the stories. I had a bad couple years where I lost my dad and two beautiful German Shepherds. They have been forever linked to several PJ songs that sometimes choke me up when I hear them, and sometimes fill my heart with love and joy. I’m very grateful to discovering PJ when I did. Now I just pray I can see them live in concert just once. THAT would be amazing!

No shit! When was this released? 1992?
OMG, the second half is exploding with emotions and beautiful solos and melodies geezzzz
I’m still in awe of that voice and expressions of emotions, in lyrics, music, voice.
Yes that part!
That drummer was AMAZING 🤘☠️!!!
Timing is 100 fire!!!
I Love Dave's Drumming!
I've watched this as many times as I could on MTV, later played (the bass part) with our hobby band, I'm, 58 now, still a fan!
Applause to the drummer he is killing it
They all did.. creative geniuses at work here!
Yup. Satisfying I'm still alive, Altamonte....,?😮
That drummer is a badass
I'm gonna keep playing Pearl Jam in our household til my kids get familiar with them and their music. Pure talent. 🥰
Absolutely beautiful & mesmerizing witnessing eddy emulated so much emotion with his facial expressions, while also singing flawlessly. Incredible. Eddy & Scott whealen able to bring to life every feeling all of us have bottled up & have no idea how to n communicste
You can tell Eddie sings from the depths of his soul, truly amazing 👍👍
When MTV was Great!!
Greatest American rock band of all time
Everyone of them are brilliant musicians, listening very closely to each of them. They come together to compliment each other, just brilliant.
And it's great LIVE because they do that
Simply, 😊 The drummer is amazing
This still resonates with me and I’m 63 years old! Such a dynamic and angsty sound…
59 Listening from the start
90s music was great
I hear ya!! I totally agree 😊🤘✌️
This is my favourite unplugged. Eddie's voice is on top form. Love it x
Top acoustic guitar solos of all time, shreddddding
One of the greatest vocals in the history of music..period.!
Eddie the grunge legend.
And this was 30 years ago! ❤
Eddie the best!!!❤️
He still has a wonderful voice! I'd like to go to a pj concert before i die...😢
They don't come here,in my good isle...
The only Grunge vocalist still alive. As he’s going to be 60 in December
Anyone else noticed how on point the drummer was ? Feels great.
what's more *ICONIC* Eddie's hair or his voice...damn i love this song
All the great bands hold up through time. Pearl Jam is exactly that. A great band.
Dave A just killing it on the drums.
Spell the surname😂😂😂
Every one of these guys is a babe with Eddie being the main babe. I love their hair. My favorite PJ song. Haunts me.
🤘🤘
back when this came out, I had nice hair, Eddie and the boys had beautiful hair...fast forward 2 or 3 decades...my hair is almost gone but they still have theirs.
ain't fair, nobody told me if I became a rock star I'd keep my hair😡! instead I got a stupid business degree 😕.
The government needs to grant someone a bunch of💰to study this. but all the old rockers I've seen still have great hair, unless they're actually toupees.
Let’s all stay alive listening to this masterpiece!! Pearl Jam rocks!!!
this is so badass eddies singing comes from deep in his soul n he forces it to his throat n releases it into the universe with the poetry of hemmingway n shakespeare and captures me hypnotses me its magic i love him n the band one of a kind uphoria
Why grunge singers always sing better than other artists genres. Look How amazing are Eddie Vedder, Kurt Cobain and Chris Cornell, they sound amazing live
And we hope Eddie sticks around for a long, long while...
You forgot Layne Staley, the Big 4 of Grunge.
Poppa Sweets lmao stfu he was the best of the lot.
oh! so.. Freddie Mercury sang grunge too? :P
Heaps of musicians are great vocally live.
eddie vedder does not need autotune, autotune needs eddie vedder
There's nothing vedder
Good
@@katevielle4263 effing legend
This man literally puts his heart and soul into every song
Alive is the epytony of 90s grunge. Eddie is the original voice of grunge. Epic performance!!
I was never a Pearl Jam fan till I heard this while driving my friends Ferrari at 160 mph on Rt 9 in Rhinebeck NY banging through the paddle shift gears. A lifetime memory
One of the greatest live performances ever.
Absolutely
My mom still idolizing Eddie until now and introducing them since I was kid and I love them too. She always said Pearl Jam is the best part of her youth days.
@frederickfiliph3798 - I took my teens to see Pearl Jam Live way back in '94, '95, '96- & onward- I've continued to see them Live throughout the years -to where my granddaughter's been my +1 in 2021, and '22 for a handful of their shows. She's 23 & loves it. And that makes me "... the longest song title in the Pearl Jam catalogue..."elderly (person), behind the counter, in a small town" - and your mom has good taste - eddie vedder in any weather...
I’m 54, Pearl Jam is All Legendary from day One!! Tears they flow, Mother Fucker,,,, I’m still Alive!!!!
Love how Eddie uses both vocal and hair dynamics in this one.
Eddie sounds Amazing doing a live performance everytime. Sounds better than the record. Pure talent dont need mixing/auto tune
I cannot say how much you, Eddie and Peal Jam have meant to me and my crew.
I’m about to be 58. Didn’t listen to this back then but now I’m hooked. Can’t remember how I got here 😮
