Persona 3 FES: Strega & Hanged Man [The Journey] (New Cycle)

Persona 3 FES is an enhanced re-release of Persona 3 for the PlayStation 2. The English version contains both The Journey and The Answer, whereas the Japanese Append version contains only The Answer. The Journey is essentially a slightly-enhanced remake of the original Persona 3, while The Answer is an all-new epilogue that continues the story.
New cycle data does not change or add anything significant to the primary story other than the transfer or your compendium, Social Stats and the level you first cleared the game in. In short, differences are very minor, so it's basically doing the whole game over again, so why do it normally?

Junpei's main element is fire, and without his awakened persona, he resists fire attacks which explains why it did 8 damage.

Well you have to remember, Junpei's main element is fire, and without his awakened persona, he only RESISTS fire which explains the 8 damage.

To make it even weirder, dogs are well known to be immune to grenade blasts. Don't believe me? Koro-Chan is immune to Fire alongside Darkness to solo Jin.

So is his revolver an evoker? Or was he just gonna actually kill himself at 10:24? Or does he just carry two guns and that's a different one?

I'm pretty sure he was going to kill himself.
He also doesn't need an Evoker to summon his Persona, I'd say he only has one gun and that's the revolver.

The evoker simulates suicide. In all likelihood he was about to kill himself for real which would've in some way unleashed a massive amount of power from his persona
