Thanks for a great and quick workout, I did break out a sweat and was happy to notice that the snowboarding is paying off, no problems with the power squats! Loving your channel! 🎉😊
Thanks bro, this is fantastic. I lift weights pretty regularly, but now that I’m in my mid thirties, it’s time to take injury prevention a bit more seriously as the season approaches. My body feels ripe for a pulled or torn *something* 🙃
Hey man, great videos, I've been following some rehab for patellofemoral pain I've had this last year so some of these deep squat motions put way too much stress on my PFP joint area and give me pain, I'm gearing up for snowboarding this season any advice you'd have or experience for patellofemoral joint pain with snowboarders? (if you've seen it?)
Hey Dom, thanks for watching! As with any movement, it takes time to build up to it. You are 100% correct in your statement of deep squats placing a lot of pressure on that Patellar tendon. I always recommend appropriate progressive overload whether that be with intensity, weight, range, etc. In regards to a squat, treat it in small doses. Start at a higher range, maybe in an isometric squat like a Spanish squat and build from there. PFP takes a long time to remedy but can be eliminated. Hope this helps!
@@MobilityDuo yea I've followed a progressive loading plan to treat patellar tendon pain I had over the last 7 months which has almost entirely gone away. The tricky thing seems to the patellofemoral pain I get around the knee cap, any sort of heavy loading I'd need to do to strengthen my muscles seems to inflame the area, but as you say maybe I need to just start from from scratch at bodyweight again and go slow from there. Thanks for the reply!

Lets Gooo! Develop habits now while we are young and they will pay off 10-fold. Ive seen all too often in patients in their 60's/70's/80's.
Thank you, I agree with the shoulder burn! I'll have to add this as like a "warmup" for an upper body workout or something
Absolutely! Thanks for watching!
