I wanna clear up few things I noticed, yeah, I am not perfect. First, I mispoke about the target. The XD9 was the target on the left, the BRG9 the target on the right. It is pretty typical I shoot targets from left to right. Second, there are often little tears on my paper targets. That is because of the wood splintering behind it and why I try to highlight the points of impact. Third, I mispoke again about the "flyer". There were two shots a bit high and left, those were my point of aim or maybe a slight pull due to this finger injury. BRG 9 Elite is a very nice package with all the goodies included in the case $189 at the Outdoor Superstore as of 1/10/2023. 😊 What's not to like ~ great video

don't own a force plus.. and since even before the whole pandemic thing, tanfoglio stuff is super hard to get. they are just not bringing thing into the country. i do have a witness 10mm that i have used in some videos as well as a 941 but don't think i have ever put them side by side in one

If you have that BRG9 and the factory Springfield mags work correctly that's a good thing as the Springfield mags I've seen for as little as $9.99 from online vendors. By far the best price on a quality factory mag.

I bought a Croatia Arms HS 2000 like twenty years ago for $189.00. I didn't have a light rail which it was good for me because weapons mounted lights were and still are very expensive. I traded it to my older Brother for a Glock23 gen 3 like 15 years ago.
yup, pretty much the same design, some changes but overall the same... and you come out good on that trade
Love my BRG. I've been using Springfield mags. Recently, the Springfields quit working with the BRG. Rounds chamber, but firing pin isn't making contact with primer. BRG mags work. Seems odd.
if you are expecting help or insight... might be a good idea to define "quit working" as specifically as possible
Can you test fit the brg9 elite into a springfield xd 9 holster and let me know if it will work? Limited holster selection for the brg9 and I am curious. Thanks!!
i only have one holster for my xd and it is the first gen xd. i can tell you that it does fit somewhat. if you are talking about a kydex holster, it can be tweaked with a little bit of heat say from a heat gun. if you are worried about a perfect fit, go alien gear.... which is a very reputable company with good products.

Any complaints about the RollPin on the xd?
I have heard it is the weakest link in the gun
have never had that issue with my XD, but as said it the video, my XD is one of the very first to start shipping out many years ago.... i can't speak to newer models much. that said, when i am dealing with a walking roll pin (on really anything with a smaller roll pin, not just firearms) i typically use a little bit of the blue thread locker. you can still tap it out later but a dab of that will help create a little more resistance once it dries.

I recently got a xd9 mod 2.
I Like everything about the gun except that it has a little more recoil and the issue with the rollpins that has plagued the forums.
Ordered it for $189 will it be compatible with XD holsters? If not who makes an iwb kydex holster?
only place i know of that currently makes a dedicated holster is Alien Gear... but with a heat gun and a little tweaking, yes, most XD holsters in kydex should work.
Now does the BRG got in a xd made kydex?
not exactly, with a little heat it can be tweaked though

pretty much the same as the XD, i would say within the realm of normal for a 9mm its size

yes and no.... keep in mind that the XD has gone through a few changes over the years. so, mine being a first generation, from back when they first released many, many years ago... can't be sure of the matches to something more current. if we are talking about a kydex holster, odds are very good that with some heat applied you could make just about any XD9 holster work. if you are in doubt, go with a holster from alien gear... which is great quality stuff

So just to clarify, I own 3 pairs of Hunters HD Gold.... a pair of everyday wear customs in Nike frames (no i do not wear glasses for vision reasons, so they are not prescription, although Hunters HD Gold offers prescriptions as no additional cost), a pair of multi purpose wear customs in Radians Cross frames (these are the ones in this video, i have worn the Crossfire frames for years and just like them) and then I have a standard pair of Hunters HD Gold Velcoity range glasses. Because I am under the canopy here, they are not dark because they are not getting much UV. Hunters HD Gold are photocromatic, meaning they get light or dark depending on the amount of UV that hits them. I can go on and on and on about them for sure, they are amazing. Might check out this podcast with the owner, Brian, he is a super awesome guy and Hunters HD Gold is heavily invested in the shooting sports world, which is cool too. ua-cam.com/video/bDu-gnQ8664/v-deo.html

The brg9 was easily the better gun the accuracy was crazy good the landing point had nothing to do with the accuracy putting five shots all TOGETHER was much more impressive than that MESS from your personal gun
yeah, agree, it is better but keep in mind the ages, xd, old, brg. Brand new, zd rhousands of rounds, brg9, a few hundres or ao... not scientifix at all

I just bought my daughter a Taurus G3c not to be confused with the (G2c-JUNK)
that said from what I can tell the G3c is a EXCELLENT GUN especially for the price

The trigger is excellent it has a little bit of a long travel then a good wall 🧱 and brakes right @ 4 lbs GREAT 👍
Anyway the reason I mentioned to G3C is to see if you've done any reviews on it if not I would like to hear your opinion on that gun
I tried like six different g2c the trigger broke @ 8 lb at least IT WAS TERRIBLE
I guess I'm mentioning that so you don't do a review on the G2c because watching someone do a review on that would-be time I could never get back

it is doubtful at this point i review a G2C as it is old. i tend to agree with you about the Taurus stuff. the Millenium absolutely sucked, the G2 wast he upgraded "Fixed" verson of that but still sucked a bit, the G3 a little better and the G4 even better than that. So it is good to see Taurus at least moving forward with better and better designs.
If the pistol had been sighted in on the BR, the grouping would have been better than the XD.
dunno about that... this XD has always done very well but certainly a close enough call for sure
brg does not respond to emails if you have issues with their firearms. bought a gen 1 brg9 and it would not feed underwood 147 grain hard cast bullets. emailed the company several times but never heard a word back. I would be very cautious about this company for that very reason.
so i don't have that issue with contact and could probably help you out BUT you do realize that not every firearm will feed every type of ammunition. those underwood have a very weird profile and that i am all but positive is contributing to the issue. polishing the feed ramp might help but i have seen that ammo do the same thing in various firearms, so it is not really a problem with the BRG9 persay
@@CloverTac Thanks for the advice, I will polish the feed ramp right away. btw I have 7 other 9mm pistols (different manufactures) that I run the very same ammo (underwood 147 grain hard cast ammo) that feed without issues.
i totally understand but 7 out of hundreds if not thousands of models.... not really a good sample size. i don't have any of that ammo or i would try some in mine and see what happens (i do not particularly care for underwood)... maybe somone else will see this and can confirm the same issue. on thing you might do is pull the barrels from your other stuff and compare the ramp angle, chamber face, etc. that should confirm a desgn difference that could be the cause.
@@CloverTac after your suggestions, I went to the garage and looked at the feed ramp..... it was polished already..... I took a fine grinding stone a lightly removed rough edges and polished even more with mothers and dremel. That was all it took, so now the rounds feed perfectly. Removal of a little more material from the feed ramp was all it took. Thanks for your response :)
awesome, yeah, lot of times that is all it takes. keep in mind, when you are dealing with cheaper firearms, they are usually less refined.... labor is expensive. so sometimes you have to show them just a little love, the price you pay fo not paying a high price. hopefully everything works out well from here forward. 🤣😂

these are not my only firearms and are also not used for defensive purposes, so i tend to not keep them loaded at all time. but for those defensive firearms, yeah, could not agree more. they save you absolutely zero times if they are unloaded when you need them.
