  • This week our friends at the Buffalo Cartridge Company (the importer of BRG-USA firearms) hosted Fatih Dogru, the founder and CEO of BRG, for a visit to the United States. He was kind enough to join us for an interview. Rodney asked him a number of questions concerning the BRG9 ELITE 9mm pistol, including some specific differences that he believes makes it special.
Thanks to Fatih Dogru and Mete Efe for joining us for the afternoon and answering our questions. Thanks for watching. New videos post every Thursday!

I was so impressed with the first one I bought I just ordered another one. An outstanding firearm at a bargain price, punches way above its price range.

I own over 30 handguns and my BRG9 is perhaps the best one I own. Which is funny cause it’s also the cheapest one I have. Seriously great quality

I purchased this gun last Friday. I tried going to the product registration on the website and looks like their website is down.

Can you tell what dovetail optic plate and optic you are using on the BRG9?

I got one and it wont chamber hollowpoints at all 3 different brands 2 different magazines. I can't get a hold of anyone for warranty info sent several emails no response. I fired 200 rounds of cci blazer with no issues very accurate light recoil etc. Went to load it up with hollowpoints and it wont get past the left site of the feedramp with winchester federal or hornady. How do I get a hold of someone to address the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Rodney what happened to the BRG website? Every time I try to log on it says down for construction it's been like a month and a half.

Great review with the CEO, as it is always great to hear from the engineers and not the marketing department. Would have loved to seen a tour of the factory and have the Big Cheese talk about what type of QC they are using during their manufacturing process. It's worth noting that the grouping that was obtained on this video was with an optics mounted slide, which is currently not being offered. A review from Graham Baates didn't show anywhere near the groupings using the iron sights.

Thanks for viewing we really appreciate it. The pistol I was using was one of the original 50 produced and as a consequence I wanted to put an optic on it to see how the dovetail set up would work. It is obviously less than ideal due to its height of the slide but overall has help up well. I will post some groupings of iron sights but those guns haven't been used nearly as much. The gun is quite accurate however and as with all things in the gun world.....depends on the shooter and his tastes in pistols. Just might not have been Graham's thing. Again thanks for your interest and be safe.

There are so many Quality guns coming out of Turkey. Sarsilmaz, Canik., For San , Tisas just to name a few. All are Excellent and now BR9 elites. Many options at a very good price. Keep them coming. The Turks have been making guns for 180yrs that's a good track record.

All they did was copy XD(m) and swap in a rear block for rails rather that use the polymer frame. They didn't design the trigger at all. Lol

Actually I own one and I have measured every internal part major major components anyway, compared to my XD9 and I can tell you that although they absolutely and obviously took design inspiration from the XD it's a different pistol completely at least in the dimensional aspect. None of the major components will interchange.
