Never mind this clown!!! I have being playing every version of TSW since it launched on Playstation and I have witnessed every upgrade or downgrade. I have been playing TSW5 for over a month and I can confirm that there is zero change to the routes you own bar a spawning point now at each station you can fast travel to and a route hoping point at certain station. The photo mode has been "improved" but don't take pretty pictures in the fog otherwise the fog disappears and the user interface/title screen is slighlty cleaner and that is the basic difference. I personally found on Playstation TSW5 more stable and crashed less that TSW4. TSW5 is just a turbo version of TSW4, but as the core is free you don't lose. Does that help?
@@hoop5824 How am I a clown for asking a basic question??? LEARN ENGLISH BEFORE YOU COME ON HERE AND TRY TO TALK ****. Anyways, I bought the game and I LOVE it. You were ZERO help.
I was calling the 5 second you tube reviewer who knows everything and knows nothing a clown. If I called you a clown why would I take the time to give you advice? Doesn't make sense? Glad you got it, stay away from the WCML, they haven't fixed that completely yet.
I‘m honestly just so tired of the same route countries… Germany, US, UK… always the same. Why not a route in Japan? Or Netherlands? Or a proper route in Switzerland? The train capital of the world! Just boring
At least the free upgrade to 5 for previous owners makes Dovetail's yearly release cycle more bearable. I'm surprised they did that, actually, even if it is a temporary offer.
Watched your video because game is now on Game pass, never been into train simulators before but after watching the video looks quite good and will give it a play, thanks
Yes, you can play DLC from past Train Sim World games, like Train Sim World 2, in Train Sim World 5. The DLCs are part of the 'Preserved Collection,' which allows most older DLC to carry over to newer versions of the game, as long as you own them. Keep in mind that some features or upgrades in TSW5 might not apply to older DLCs.
It's either the screen capture or the game itself but it looks like about 15 frames per second... I had major performance issues with TSW 4 so I'm worried it's the game's optimisation. Nice review though bud, I'll give it a go on gamepass and see.
I'm already finding this game to be garbage and I"m new to TSW. I saw this TSW5 free starter pack and have always wanted to try out a train sim game since I do love trains. The training center was great at first but boy it didn't take long for me to start seeing all the bugs and stuff in here and now I'm already disliking it. 75% of the Loco's don't even function properly and the tutorial don't even teach you everything. Also, the coupling on most train don't even work, not by key binds nor the manual buttons in the train. After discovering all the dislike on my own terms, I decided to look up and see what others are saying and boy, I was surprise to see so many complaints... yet they still buy the dlcs. Speaking of dlcs, I was shock to see how many there were, and how much they are charging for it, that was a big turn off for me and I immediately saw this game is nothing but a big cash grab, to hell with the player's base, DTG just want money and that's it. No real work was put into this game from what I'm seeing. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to play with trains but it's no fun and worth it if it's gonna come out broken. It's not worth buying especially seeing that TSW 2, 3, 4 and now 5 are the "same" game yet they charge players just to update to a new "game engine". That's just dirty..

No difference from TSW4 to TSW5 and this guy doing the review is just wow wow wow? Another top notch none bias review.
I can't make sense of this post. Is there really no difference??? And are you saying it's non biased as sarcasm?

@ ok cheers
@GameVaultHQ-5 Oh wow. That just sealed the purchase for me. I have 3 and 4.
I have TSW 4 with all DLCs and it's over 300GB. TSW 5 should have been released with more conent from day 1. Not worth me changing from TSW 4 to 5.
I mean, the trailer does say all the DLC's from previous games in the series all carries over?
@@joshshep187yeah but you have to download it all again which is why he’s holding off and I don’t blame him for it. It’s his choice
tsw1 owner i really dont understand the difference between tsw 3 and 4 now 5 i feel its become a cash grab rinse and repeat like fifa
