multiplayer really makes simrail for me, its a lot more fun and engaging than what TSW offers. the simulation also just feels better wheeras in tsw it feels very half-hearted at points
The main benefits of Simrail vs TSW is that with Simrail, you pay once. If you are price conscious, go with Simrail. TSW and DTG is an endless money pit with the illusion of good routes/trains. It’s like playing Russian roulette, sometimes you might get something beyond spectacular like Blackpool Branches(I know it’s JT) but most of the times you’re getting mediocre content like Kassel to Wurzburg and there are times where your luck runs out like New York to Trenton.
I got both and I think Simrail is less of a cash crab and it has a long ass route and will soon even Have Warsaw - Kraków. That is atleast 250km, DTG would never be bothered to make such a long route. Also multiplayer
@@markojarvinen1588 I understand that you meant Train SIimWorld. You're right, it's just a bad game. It's unrealistic, many on-board systems are missing. There are a lot of bugs that the creators don't fix, but they release even more buggy versions and say that they added e.g. live weather.. hahahahha pathetic. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Will be if you don’t get your moneys worth out of a route before buying the next. A lot of trophy’s to collect in truth before you would need to do that
@@honeybadger9425 Few people are interested in getting virtual trophies no one cares about but I agree there is loads of content on many routes and nobody needs to buy every route.
Got lots of dlc in tsw. Got myself simrail and it's much more fun tbh. Definitely the multiplayer mode. Interacting with other drivers and dispatchers.
getting quite many comments here but about the simrail not completing a service before service restart, the train spawn again upon startup but without it's delays so you can just pick it up again
I disliked the length of train sim world senarios, they felt long and boring but in simrail stuff happens. Yes TSW would break due to AI and not be able to complete stuff but that is boring stuff. In simrail you get delays and interaction with dispatchers so the long senarios are still fun
SimRail is the one with multiplayer. Both of them have the ability for users to create scenarios, but it seems Train Sim World's way of doing so is a little easier
I mean the purpose of the video was to compare the two and leave it to you to decide lol, I advise you watch it all the way through if you haven't already. In my opinion SimRail is the better game as it's more immersive and you can play as a dispatcher. It would be the better choice for you as well if you want better graphics and realism.
Main plus with SimRail is it’s heavily geared towards multiplayer so your driving your train on the network with lots of other human players and dispatchers so it feels like a living breathing random rail network. TSW very good though if you just want realistic routes to run loads of choice better on the single player side, I’d really base it on if you want Multiplayer or not tbh or just buy both
Does SimRail have free roam? i watched this because i have spare money and i already have tsw4 on xbox gamepass but im making decision should i get it or not if i already have tsw4 is it worth it? Edit: i decided i will get it

@aron-zi6ut Would highly recommend you don't use the prologue, the game has advanced a lot from there and the experience will be much worse than if you were to get the full game

TSW performance on PC is awful though with shader compilation stutter, frameskips when loading new environmental features, and the worst TAA I've ever seen. Why they don't implement DLSS is beyond me. Not even close to a superior game engine, and I can say that confidently before I've even tried SimRail.
The fact that SIMRAIL is still in early access and already have a paid DLC raise a red flag..... what a greed wow !!! they never see a penny from my pocket.
A lot of people have voiced this opinion. One point I tend to make is, this game is in early access yet does many things better than Train Sim World, which has hundreds and hundreds of dollars in DLC. Is it ok than for a company to sell DLC for a worse game just because the game is fully released? On the other hand, is a good game wrong for selling DLC when in early access, even if that game is superior to some full releases?

Also the simrail loco changes are not only liveries it does vary in cab aswell like diffrent steering wheels or diffrent radio

4:40 The numbering of the /1s in the game are actually the newer /1s with the new headlight model but it's actually just a renumbered 377/4

Train sim world, might be buggy, but its developed on a stable far more superior game engine, fantastic mod support, and far more add ons

The physics and sounds generally are better, way less bugs, option for multiplayer, option to play as a dispatcher, option to have 4hr+ journeys etc
