Why are the 2.9s now so complicated to repair? The 3.0TFSI was a breeze compared to this. My A6 c6 with the 3.2 is super simple to work on!
They not that bad , it’s just a “new” concept have to get use it like any other new engine 😉
Did Audi fix these issues with the B9.5?
Djekuji moc. Kde pracujete prosím?

What have they done to the RS5? what happened to the Lambo engine the original car had?
RS5 never had Lamborghini engine
@@VAGTechnic oh yes it did, do your research, lol, I know for a fact the 2009 model had a 5.2,ltre V10 engine, same as the one they put in the Gallardo.
What tune was installed?
thats the question!
Going by the oil colour, number plate and straight pipe, I feel a little sorry for that poor car
Badly modded and raked to crap.
Why Yoy can't use on oscilloscope? Two or four channels? One channel to crankshaft,others-to intake and exhaust cams.As result Yoy can see synchronization. And signal forms of cams. Not need to replace oil, crankshaft sensor. And when engine is started You can see the timing.Correct or not. That can safe Your time.
So please tell us why the car didn’t start ? Why it’s only running with unplugged sensor ?
To help you timing is not out 😉
@@VAGTechnic Thats can be.If marker disc(or other marker pin) can move from his factory place.Reasons can be few.Thats why factory programm in ECU count timing only from crankshaft sensor position(alarm mode),for moving to nearest service, where can *save the car*.)))
That's can be only if timing is correct)).
P.S.Excuse me for my poor English.Because I from Ukraine))
Can’t remember the exact date it started but newer Audis are using SENT sensors Single Edge Nibble Transmission, they send data in packets, you won’t get a normal looking scope pattern from them.
My money here is in the reference mark on the camshaft has broken or come loose it isn’t to uncommon 😉
@@СергейБожко-я2в no hard feelings 😅 sensor was reading something but incorrect information … completly out of range that’s why when it was plugged in it didn’t start , soonest you plug it back on it was dead . Without having the sensor plugged or engine stated you can check the timing . It’s not available. It was very unusual fault on the end , but with every car we are smarter
should it display the RPM though? being under 200RPM my thinking is it should not - also it's 200 RPM increments on the cluster.
Sometimes it moved and sometimes not , but what was going on once the camshaft sensor sent wrong readings it fully disable everything
