"Stay away", "In bloom", "Aneurysm" and "Breed" are the 4 I would recommend. I feel like everyone have heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and there is so many reactions on it already.
@@StonerMattsorry to say but in bloom will always be easier for most to enjoy than territorial pissings. The song is good but it is an acquired taste for many
Nirvana's song "Smells like teen spirit" actually wiped out "hair" metal bands in the early 90's. Nirvana's genre is considered Grunge. Rock music from Seattle area along with Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden & Pixies.
Wiped it out only if you cared about what was on mtv or the radio. Those of us that didn't care also didn't listen to the posers anyways .So it was like nothing really changed in real music culture. The so called hair bands were a trend bound to fail. The early 90's bands you mentioned just got added to music we liked.
@Diggerdog2nd The talented bands stood the test of time no matter if considered "hair" metal or not. The ones who disappeared, didn't make comebacks til 10, 15 yrs ago. And even then, fans only want to hear old stuff from them. But good music is good music whether nostalgic or not
Nirvana's iconic album cover for their 1991 album 'Nevermind'... was the baby in the swimming pool. It became a huge hit thanks to the explosive rock single 'Smells like teen spirit'... and in late 1991, 'Nevermind' hit #1 on the US charts, knocking off Michael Jackson's album 'Dangerous' from the top spot... 'Nevermind' has sold 10 million copies in the US and was a huge global hit. Other fast numbers by Nirvana - 'Breed' ... 'On a plain' ... 'School' ... 'Pennyroyal tea' ... 'Lithium' ... 'Dive' ... Nirvana was a raw, heavy rock band... I think the perception they were 'slow' was because their acoustic 'MTV Unplugged' album was such a huge hit... but that was only 1 show. They were called 'grunge' or 'alternative' rock because Nirvana was so musically (and visually) different from every major rock/ metal band that was popular in 1990/ '91... from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Van Halen, Skid Row, Firehouse, Slaughter, etc. In those days, u had rock bands w/ big hair, flashy outfits, wicked guitar licks, high vocals and music videos w/ female models to sell their music... Nirvana was from Seattle... they dressed casually and looked odd as a band. Their music was raw, heavier and darker... their lyrics were very abstract and confusing at times... Kurt Cobain (vocals & guitar) of Nirvana was not a proficient guitar player but he knew exactly how he wanted to sound. He was taught how to play guitar by Buzz Osbourne of the Melvins, another heavy rock band from Seattle. Formed around 1987, Nirvana featured Kurt Cobain and Krist Novoselic (bass)... Chad Channing (drums) was the original drummer and recorded their 1989 debut album "Bleach"... it was released on indie label Sub Pop and sold decently. It sounded very much like a punk rock record w/ raw guitars and slamming drums... Nirvana's cover of "Love buzz" by Shocking Blue was a standout song. Going into their 2nd album, Nirvana worked w/ Wisconsin producer Butch Vig, who polished the band's raw sound on their 2nd album 'Nevermind'... w/ Dave Grohl (drums) joining the band and Nirvana signing to Guns N' Roses' label Geffen Records in 1991. Nirvana filmed the iconic music video for 'Smells like teen spirit' in a school gym after playing a club show... MTV put it on the air in the Fall of '91 and it exploded in popularity... It was completely unexpected. Kurt Cobain was practically homeless and living w/ drummer Dave Grohl when 'Nevermind' was released... By the end of the year, Nirvana was one of the biggest bands in the world overnight from obscurity... and Seattle bands like Pearl Jam... Soundgarden... Alice in Chains... were suddenly a hot commodity in the music business. In 1992, the Seattle 'grunge' rock scene went mainstream... and 80's bands like Poison, Motley Crue, Kix, L.A. Guns, Warrant, etc. suddenly became irrelevant overnight... Kurt Cobain was blunt about those bands, "It got old..." However, Kurt Cobain was frustrated that Nirvana had pop success w/ the polished 'Nevermind' album... he wanted Nirvana to be known for their raw, heavy sound as they came across onstage... In 1992, Nirvana released a raw collection of unreleased songs as 'Incesticide'... Their next album 'In Utero' was released in 1993 and went to #1 and sold 4 million copies in the US - it was a raw & heavy record unlike 'Nevermind'... In '93, Nirvana played an acoustic set on 'MTV Unplugged'... and decided to perform their songs & a number of obscure songs by artists nobody heard of... like The Vaselines... Meat Puppets ... Leadbelly... etc. It was considered one of the greatest 'Unplugged' performances. Sadly, Kurt Cobain was also using he+++n to cope w/ chronic stomach pain and struggled w/ depression... Getting married and having a daughter did little to help... By 1994, Kurt was weary of the constant attention and attempted to take his own life on tour in Europe... He was forced into rehab in the US but jumped the fence and disappeared... In April 1994, an electrician working on Cobain's Seattle home discovered a body inside... Kurt Cobain had apparently returned home to Seattle, armed w/ a shotgun and a dose of he+++n... He wrote a note before he shot up and then ended his own life w/ the shotgun. Kurt Cobain's death ended Nirvana and their label released the 'MTV Unplugged' album in 1994, which has sold 5 million copies in the US. Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl launched his new band Foo Fighter in 1995 as the band's vocalist/ guitarist. In 2002, Nirvana released the last song Kurt had recorded - the track "You know you're right".
It’s awesome seeing someone from this generation appreciate music from the previous generation. Theres so much good music from the 90s! Actually from the 70s on up to the year 2000, that’s when I stopped listening 😅💯 Oldies too, oldies are dope!! I love these reaction videos, keep em coming Mia! 💙

The drummer's name is Dave Grohl & after the band broke up he started a new one called Foo Fighters & he's the singer, some vids to react to are In The Clear, Best Of You, Monkey Wrench.
Nirvana is grunge rock, and they are slow sometimes. "Something in The Way" and "Come As You Are" are two of their slower songs. Another really good slow one is "About a Girl". However, some "faster" ones are "Breed", "On A Plain", and "Territorial Pissings." Also the lead singers name is Kurt Cobain. It's kinda funny you keep doing the "slower" songs of all these bands😂.
Breaks my heart the way he went out he took his own life because he didn't do this music for fame he did it out of love he didn't care for money or greed he just loved the music sad that you don't have that nowadays they're into their money and their pills and lean they were so low that when he died the band died rip to a legend Mr Kurt Cobain❤
I'm from Minnesota. Let's get some Prince. You might like "Let's Go Crazy" or his live performance of "America". He also covered "Play that funky music white boy" at a concert and it was pretty good. Prince's live performances were epic.
Love the work rate Mia. ❤ Nirvana had fast and slow. They would go from pretty acoustic to chaotic and smashing guitars just cause. "Smells Like Teen Spirit" changed the game. After that everyone copied the sound. Kurt Cobain hated how popular the band got on that album he went darker and heavier on the next. 😂 Try: "Smells Like Teen Spirit". "In Bloom". "Scentless Apprentice"
There is a song called "Love Buzz" by Nirvana which is awesome. Pretty fast paced. Also the live version at the Seattle Paramount theater in 91' is a very good performance
they played grunch + punky + alternative rock. i love 80´s and 90´s rock lineage. maybe can check something from "the offSpring".. "gone away" , or "amazed" for example.
I love this song... #Side_Note: I also love Nirvana's "Smells like teen spirit" but REVERSED (BACKWARDS). Sounds pretty good IMO. There was a movement called The Seattle Sound which started the 90’s and it’s called Grunge. These guys along with Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam et al, changed rock n roll.
If you revisit many of their songs you'll notice that the instruments are actually played very fast in the majority of the songs but the lyrics are sung slowly which is the contrast that made them sound so different
I love all you're reactions. Like i haven't said that a million times already, but you're making 🔥🔥🔥 reactions. To speed things up listen to Smells like teen spirit, drain you, or aneurysm. This is Grunge rock a very popular era in the 90s
you really need to watch their unplugged concert. literally one of the most important and landmark things ever done in music. MTV did a series called unplugged where everything was basically acoustic and well Nirvana headlined it. they did Pear Jam (must watch as its just as good), Alice in Chains, Eric Clapton, Mariah Carey, Stone Temple Pilots, I know im forgetting someone that was in the Nirvana/PJ/Alice grouping of concerts but for the life of me, I cant remember who it is. truly a must watch. if you do Pearl Jam do the song Black and make sure its the unplugged version.
Perfect day to rock the long sleeve black denim. Grungey af. Back then. The more beat down you looked, the heavier you were and more punk rock you were too. Nirvana is considered Grunge Punk. " All Apologies " or "In Bloom" are good. If you want Generic fast paced punk rock. The Ramones. 1970s i think. LOUD FAST RAMONES. "Blitzkrieg bop" "Beat on the Brat" and a personal favorite "Bonzo goes to BitBurg". Incrediblely easy and really short songs. Like 2 minutes usually. Legends really. Everybody always has there t-shirts like Nirvana T shirts. but don't listen to them or know who they are really. They were my intro into different rock. And they blossomed into Thrash Metal which is a combination of both Heavy Metal and Fast Paced Punk. So... Metal + Punk = Thrash Metal.
The drummer of Nirvana started another band called Foo Fighters, of which he's the lead singer. Start with Everlong as your first song to react to of theirs
It has nothing to do with fast paste, but it´s their master piece and greatest hit. so take a listen to smells like teen spirit, off vid. and their genre of course is Grunge.

You are looking so beautiful today as always Mia ❤❤❤❤
Smells Like Teen Spirit is good and all but I'm maybe a bit of a huge Weird Al fan so I feel like Albuquerque, Trapped in the Drive Thru, When I Was Your Age, or even the UHF movie would be better.
Listen to their MTV Unplugged album, it’s a live recording of a bunch of songs, MTV use to do that back in the day when they were about the music, that whole album is fire! My personal favorite from that album is “Man Who Sold The World” it’s a cover of a David Bowie song, also some of the songs on that album are covers
faster paced Nirvana song would be Radio Friendly Unit Shifter from In Utero, definitely Breed. But if you like fast paced songs, have you listened to Slayer yet? Angel of Death would be a faster paced song. ;)
You are reacting to all the slower/calmer songs from these bands (Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica), lol. All of them have much harder and faster songs, also with more commercial/pop stuff and other songs that for someone new to rock/metal may sound like random noise. XD Album cover with the baby swimming after the dollar bait is "Nevermind", probably the biggest album of the 90s and I would say of the last 35 years. This and the previous song you reacted to are from that album, the slower ones with another called "Polly", but the album has many other faster and harder songs like "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Breed", "Drain You", "Territorial Pissings", "On A Plain", "Lounge Act", etc... And that's their most commercial and radio friendly album, unfortunately they don't have many more albums because of what happened with Kurt, but they have many other great songs in those others, however they also have some stuff that I guess could be too hard and noisy for your tastes right now until you get more used to listen to this kind of music.
Faster Nirvana songs would be "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - "Drain You" - "Breed"
"Stay away", "In bloom", "Aneurysm" and "Breed" are the 4 I would recommend. I feel like everyone have heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and there is so many reactions on it already.

ZODIAC MINDWARP AND THE LOVE REACTION
- Prime Mover
(its so silly its good)
The way you always like instrumental parts your gonna go crazy for metalcore breakdowns lol
Great reaction. Nirvana is considered alternative rock/grunge. Try listening to Aneurysm 🤙🏼
You should definitely check out fuel, falls on me or sunburn!!
faster paced Nirvana song would be Radio Friendly Unit Shifter from In Utero, definitely Breed. But if you like fast paced songs, have you listened to Slayer yet? Angel of Death would be a faster paced song. ;)
Kurt Cobain was the guitarist and lead singer of Nirvana. The music might be called "grunge rock."
If you like Dave's drumming, you should check out the queens of the stone age the track is called no one knows. And he drums on that track.
The drummer is Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighter.
Yaay another nirvana reaction. Also if u like a fast song from any band i would recommend Limp Bizkit
For a faster pace set of songs:
Breed
Scentless Apprentice
School
Aneurysm
Great band..You should check out Foo Fighters..Dave Grohl, the drummer of Nirvana, band..
Should try Panthera band, songs Walk and cemetery gates
She did Cowboys From Hell but it got banned for some reason.
@@prxstcnwccd how can this be i was waiting on pantera lol
@@THEGUMP- Check her account. It got unblocked like an hour after I made that comment.
here are some bands with fast songs Motorhead - Ace Of Spades, Motley Crue - Wild side , & Pantera - I'm Broken.
U should check Heart Shaped Box music video, it will blow your mind
I'd recommend School and You Know You're Right from them
Smells like teen spirit is the most famous and my girl "live"mtv
You have probably listened to 2 of the slowest songs they have. Try "You know you're right" or "Lithium"
XD
Album cover with the baby swimming after the dollar bait is "Nevermind", probably the biggest album of the 90s and I would say of the last 35 years.
Song school the BEST
