Who says that you have to choose between AC/DC and Guns N Roses? Both of those bands are so awesome that you can’t even compare them. Enjoy them both 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
Slash changing the notes from major (happy sound) to minor (sad/angry sound) notes when he starts his solo is so good. It changes the vibe of the entire song. November Rain has my favourite solo’s!!
My favorite GnR song is "Civil War". Ultimate anti-war song! Lirycs are unfortunately still actual. Anyway, i love your reaction ❤, and hello from Serbia 🇷🇸!
This was a great album! It was all the rage back then, and for years we could not stop talking about Guns N Roses. Another great song to check out by them is "November Rain" an incredible ballad by them. Glad you enjoyed the song!
November rain, You could be mine, Welcome to the jungle. These 3 are great songs from them, along with Knocking on Heaven's door. Your reactions are priceless, glad to see you delving into some of the greats. Look forward to more.
Yes Mia, Slash played on Michael Jackson's song Black Or White. Other great GnR songs are Welcome To The Jungle or Civil War (but they have MANY). Also, most fans like both ACDC and GnR (they're both great).
Lead guitarist is Slash, the band broke up but the lead singer (Axl Rose) retained all rights to the band name and songs and continued with new band members. They reunited recently once Slash and Axl buried the hatchet. Night Train is another great song from the same album, also Civil War and November Rain are great songs from different albums. More GnR all the way over ACDC.
Yeah, bad blood and bad attitudes ruined a good thing. Always thought their long awaited album Chinese Democracy was super telling on when we would get to hear it, then, it dropped....and it wasn't great. But second November Rain. And Don't Cry are two good ones to get an idea of where they were heading.
@@lolyou952 "AC/DC has more hits more chart topping hits than GnR." By a *fair* margin, considering AC/DC have been around for, like, a few *millennia* longer! :D :D :D Which of course has little to do with guitar ability (the Beach Boys have a lot of hits! :D), and Slash, of course, can mop up the floor with most other guitar players. But I mean, yeah, of course, AC/DC's famous songs in no way suck... :)
@@lolyou952 I fully concur on Holy Wars / The Punishment Due... holy shit - the intro alone will have you breaking a sweat, but that intense portion leading into the guitar solos on The Punishment Due is insane.
Not sure if someone has mentioned this yet in the comments, but Axl Rose was also AC/DC's singer for a while a few years ago when their singer Brian Johnson had some health (auditive) problems.
Our lil band plays this song. I saw them in Detroit in the 90s. Not the best concert i been to but I loved it. And Slash is the lead guitarist and a master. This band had the best debut album of all time. Love watchin you jam out. Would love seeing you at a concert just being you
i feel so bad for Gen Z people.. they will never have the joy of growing up with bands/singers or groups that could actually play instruments and actually have talent in performing and singing.. and it is just "Slash" not slasher...
Another Classic Banger !!! "Welcome to the Jungle" put Guns & Roses on the Map, and this song took them to the "stratosphere" !! The Group broke up over an Artistic & Power struggle between Axl Rose (lead singer) & Slash ... Axl Rose also resented Slash collaborating with Michael Jackson
Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), known as Slash, is a British-American musician celebrated as the lead guitarist of the legendary hard rock band Guns N' Roses and widely regarded as one of history's greatest guitarists.
So glad you like GNR. Between AC/DC and GNR, itnmatters on the mood. If I am working on the car, it's Angus and the boys. If I'm in a reflective mood, its Axl and Slash. Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for your reactions!
If your asking for that one unavoidable legendary song, that's 'November rain'. You really don't want to miss that one. My second pick is 'Dead horse'.
I buyed the "Appetite for Destruction" in 1989 as a 14 years old boy from lower saxony germany, and I love this album till today 35 years later,.......... it´s one of the best rock albums ever and and an all classic
One of the top bands you never heard of & I grew up in the 70's time of incredible musical creativity! It was my norm but one band of 2000's stands out above the rest for it musical & lyrical prowess! That band is Theocracy! First song I ever heard from them was " Mirror of Souls " a musical journey within! Masterpiece is all I could say afterwards!
Please don't call him "Slasher", he's just "Slash" and you should hear "November Rain" from Gn'R it will help you to decide wich band is better. And when you're ready with that listen to Pantera ( Cemetary Gates ), Slayer ( Seasons in the Abyss ) and Sepultura ( Terrirory ) maybe you will like that.
"This sounds so freaking good!" Yep, pretty much my same reaction the first time this song came on the radio in my small town. It's the sheer perfection of the melodies in Axl's vocals and Slash's guitar. So damn melodic!! Still holds up today as the best G 'N R song and one of the top songs period. And I don't care if Slash himself apparently hated it. All props to that man but he is wrong on that one! The song is just candy for the ears! Whereas you are candy for the eyes ;)
I love it when I stumble across a tuber influencer when i can't decide which I love more. Her inner beauty or her outer beauty or such a rare combination of both. Keep u the good work.
This song is about Erin Everly (the woman in the white blazer with the movie camera). She was Axl’s girlfriend at the time. Her father is Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers.
this song is a classic of rock n roll/ heavy metal one of the best compositions ever made in my opinion and im not even a fan of guns n roses, i never listened a full album but i can tell "there was a time" is a great song, but without slash
This is my birth album the first album Guns n' Roses released in 1987 my mom used to play this album for me while I was a child it was the first music I ever heard I love Guns n' Roses 💙
It is Slash, and he is the guitarist from Michael Jackson's Black or White video. Guns and Roses had a shorter run than AC/DC. I tend to like the older AC/DC with Bon Scott on vocals. Guns and Roses had a lot of songs including some pretty good Power Ballads. Slash is an extremely important part of the Band.
1:45 only about a thousand people, glad to see you read your comments lol its Slash and stopping his solos will get you whipped with a wet noodle around here
Sometime you should check out a band from Ukraine called NoApology when they were Sershen & Zaritskaya they did a bunch of covers and stuff like their cover of AC/DC's Back In Black is super fun because it's hard to imagine a female vocalist doing it till you hear her.
A couple of things that you should know. The guitarist name is: SLASH. He is one of the guitar GODS of rock! NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER PAUSE DURING A GUITAR SOLO. That is an unwritten rule of music videos. And if you keep doing it people are going to rip you apart in the comments no matter how beautiful or how sexy that you are. And if you have not seen it I strongly recommend that you watch the Eddie Van Halen guitar solo called "ERUPTION" from their 'without a net' tour. There is no singing but you will see the greatest guitar solo that there has ever been recorded. But make sure that you watch the video of the guitar solo from their 'without a net' tour.
ACDC and Gun N Roses are the same to me. Couple of nice songs, far from my favorite. Welcome To The Jungle is a fast song but Mia loves the slow songs so November Rain here we come. Lol
I saw GNR for the Appetite for Destruction tour. Too bad I dont remember the concert I was too drunk. Their isnt a bad song on the album. I saw them about 5 yrs ago and they are still rocking out.
