BIG SHOUT OUT TO OUR Y&F LEGENDS MEMBERS:
Mohammed Soliman,
You’re the most consistent couple channel and I like that you guys are always just reacting and happy and not pranking or disrespecting eachother for views it’s sad
Thanks ☺️
During my time in Navy boot camp, scheduling a fitness test was all it took for those aspiring to join BUD/S. Achieving times in the top 10% meant you were awarded a BUD/S slot when one became available. Back then, there were no BUD/S prep courses or SEAL/SWCC boot camp divisions. My introduction to the SEALs in 1978 came from a flyer I spotted at the YMCA pool I frequented.
In Seal training they encourage you to quit lol. Temp you with warm food and etc.. 😂😂❤
NGL, that would totally motivate me to keep going. I'll quit when "I" decide to quit, not because YOU bribed me to 😅
@@TheDylls Brother That's easier said than done
The Navy Seals are NO joke!! They are absolutely amazing!!
🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
seals were kicked out of Afghanistan for constantly fucking up
I was a paratrooper for the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division. I carried a 90 pound backpack for miles a day (10 -20) for weeks at a time. I was 180 pounds (82 kgs) but did not look like a body builder. We were the most physically fit alcholics in the world! Lol.
Lmao i was 20 back in 1991. Love when a pt test came up after a weekend of drinking. No hand holding just go do it!
i vomited a few times doint pt after a long night out drinking
I just love ❣️ your channel guy's!! Keep doing what your doing!! A fan way across the pond all the way to Montana!! 😊
My brother in law was a Navy seal / underwater demolitions team in Vietnam. He was a bad ass he was also my sparring partner in martial arts , he was no joke.
i can't answer for SEAL but when i went to Ranger school in the Army we had a 80% attrition rate back in the late 80's
Hi guys. Just to be clear, it's not 4 hrs sleep per night. It's a total of 4 hrs for the entire 5 and a half days. If your boat crew finishes ahead of the other crews, you might be able to steal another couple minutes of sleep lol. My older brother was a 30 yr Navy guy and spent a good portion of that as a SEAL. I got to meet many of these guys and they are amazing. I have a suggestion for you. Something a bit different though. I am leaving a link to a video of a retired Admiral (and former SEAL) giving the commencement speech at Univ of Texas. He talks about things he learned in SEAL training and how those things can be related to things you might run into in your life after the Teams. It's about a 19 minute video and worth every minute. Hope you enjoy. ua-cam.com/video/pxBQLFLei70/v-deo.html
The diving final is a midnight swim in the open ocean, with the sharks ... swimming under the keel of a warship (deep) and place a simulated mine.
There are places that humans just weren't meant to go. Underwater being a big one! 😂❤
These guys are superhuman
Now you see why the American military is badass.
Hell week in boot camp kicked my ass! Buds hell week is a whole other level. And their drop out rate is over 90%!
they do things called war games where they put two platoons against each other with non lethal weapons and they treat it like a real battle and they can go on for weeks at a time
Dive motivaters 4am lots of fun before i even left for the navy i was running 4 to 6 miles a day and i still had problems
I do 5 miles a day normally, sometimes do 10 mile runs, I think the longest single run they do is 12 or 14 miles in phase 3
I've heard tell of a guy who literally drowned in each underwater activity (and was successfully resuscitated) but never quit and made it in
Those rafts they hold over their head are extremely heavy and the Pacific Ocean is freezing
Oh- thousands of pushups, pull-ups, sit-ups, running with huge boats over your head, team related exercises.
Aaaaaall while going off of 2 hours of sleep from Midnight on Sunday to the afternoon on Friday. It is not uncommon at all to hallucinate during Hell Week.
This is the pinnacle of military training, you have to want it 100% and push yourself more than you ever thought possible.
Edit: I highly recommend watching the Shawn Ryan Show here on UA-cam, who is an ex navy seal and ex CIA contractor. Watch the one with MrBallen (yes, MrBallen was a navy seal) and watch the one with Robert O’Neill, the man who sh0t Osama Bin Laden.
The Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs) were both the predecessors to and separate from the SEALs, initially. Even after the SEALs were formed, there were still UDTs. In 1983, the two programs were combined. This is why SEALs train in demolitions, as well.
All the SQT stuff you saw where they talked about teaching them dive physics and onward, was after Hell Week was over. So they go back to a somewhat normal schedule where they have weekends off and only do school during the day, not all through the night as well. They dont continue to only get 4 hours of sleep a week for the entire time they are training. Only for that one week.
These men are not mere mortals. They are machines , American warriors .
American sniper movie, the Chris Kyle story. Good!!
Hell, we only had 4 hours of sleep a night in my Army Basic Training. It is “as needed for the military.”
A crazy thing to think about is that only a fraction of those that started the training will actually complete it and become full fledged SEALS. The attrition rate is insane.
My dad went thu Great Lakes naval training in 1946. Seals have a high dropout rate ... and these are the best sailors.
Seals weren't even a thing till after Vietnam
@@tyler-y4s Frog men in WWII. My dad was a mere swabbie. Great Lakes is a general training center, you land lubber ;-)
Yes frogmen were used as a testing template in regards to forming the teams I'm all to well aware of that since my uncle was one of the men they used shortly after Vietnam his name is Fred Halliett
@@williambranch4283 land lubber well don't know what that means but I did spend 8 years in the navy so I think I know a thing or two
@@tyler-y4s Great.
Navy seals drown regularly during hell week and get pulled out and revived. They learn many languages, they also learn every weapon systems of enemie countries, and much much more. Gotta be smart on top of a beast
The beach scenes, carrying the boats and logs, paddling into the waves, rolling in the sand while wet with salt water, all take place near San Diego, California on the beaches of Coronado. The Pacific Ocean water is cold when compared with Atlantic water because of the currents that come from the north, rather than the south (the Gulf of Mexico) on the east coast. The instructors call the students, wet with salt water and covered with sand "Sugar Cookies."
In one video it was stated that there are more deaths in Navy SEAL training than from actual missions, so yeah it is incredibly tough.
Navy SEAL training is the most intense training program in the world.
What is even crazier is that there is a tier of Navy SEAL above this. This is only the training to get you to become a basically qualified SEAL. Even after completing training you have to do follow on training in the actual SEAL teams before you actually get your SEAL pin. And once you are an actual Navy SEAL, there is a group known as NSWDG (Naval Special Warfare Development Group) that is the absolute best of the best of the Navy SEALs. There is a whole new selection process and training that most SEALs dont make it through. Those guys, commonly known as DEVGRU or more popularly SEAL Team 6, are the absolute best of the best and can go toe to toe with anybody in the world, SAS, SBS, Delta, etc...
When I was 18 and went for my physical test I could 80 sit ups per minute for 5 minutes straight. 60 clap push ups a minute for several minutes without pause, 25 pull ups, 10 minutes for 2 miles. And I wasn't NEAR the top of my class.
After you’ve been selected for SEALS from all this it's an additional 2.5 years of training before you go on your first mission. Every single SEAL is considered to be an investment of over $1,000,000 dollars.
Also, the small boats you see them carrying aren’t for abandoning ship they’re for insertions. They will get dropped off via ship, submarine, or helicopter quite far from where their mission is sometimes. They have all different ways of getting the rest of the way there but many times it can be via those small boats. They also use a small/mini submarine called a Navy Seal Delivery Vehicle to get them the rest of the way to shore from the larger ship or submarine but they also have several different style and size boats. The SWCC are counterpart teams for the Seals who are further and specifically trained in everything having to do with boats. Repair, insertion of the Seals, Recovery of Seals but Seals go much further then SWCC in all other forms of training.
Navy Seals are the best of the best. Their goal is to have a 20% success rate from the best of the class. These guys are all above every other branch of the military
Great review!
When I was in Navy Bootcamp (May 1977) my company went and saw a Recruiting Movie for the Seals and when it was over a CPO who was a Seal came to talk too us and said "I don't care if you want to be a Seal or Not thats up to you" and he left. 😂
In my service time I can say that the SEALS I have worked with are the most amazing military men that I have ever met. - That's coming from a Marine.
One thing y'all need to understand. Hell week is not training. It's a weeding out process. It's pure pain to find out who really wants to be there. Who is willing to do anything and give everything to be there. The training comes afterwards.
I still think you two should watch the Class 232 documentary, or Class 234. It’s one of those two
Bruce Lee wasn't bulky but his core was powerful. He could do 2,000 push-ups
we got to go here in JROTC ....
They go through Navy Boot Camp, then seal training, and if they make it, Seal Team Six training. Seal Team 6 is also known as DevGru.
were you prior service? be truthful
Navy boot camp, BUD/s prep, BUD/s, SQT, assigned to a team as the new guy. There are more qualifications to become DEVGRU and not all SEALs try to go to Team 6, I'm not sure you even need to be a SEAL to be in DEVGRU.
@TheColtonStreeter yeah you have to be a seal to be in DEVGRU. You're thinking of Delta where you can tryout for Delta regardless of branch you're in but you have to be invited to try out for Delta.
they have to do long distance night swims in great white shark infested waters during training... More are killed during SEAL training than on actual combat missions
you guys got to find the SAS in the SBS training video that would be good cuz they're badasses too
The bell is only for quitters. But yeah, it's real
they don't use the rafts to abandon ships (they aren't ships crew). They use the boats to go from a ship to land to perform a mission then have to use the raft to make it back to the ship to leave the hostile area
My core was blowing a .40 and still be cognitive. But thats 30 years ago. Somebody put a picture of us up on a social media site, i was smoking and somebody went outta their mind saying its illegal and i should be arrested. We were allowed to smoke. I wish i knew who commented on that picture.
You should react to KoreanEnglishman's few videos - they just released videos where they were recruits in the Korean Navy - hardcore stuff!
Sleep deprivation is a major part of all US military special forces training. Army Green Berets, Army Rangers and of course the Navy SEALS.
Now they are at Coronado, California.
Not that I've ever participated in one, but live-fire training excercises ARE designed to be non-lethal...
Now that obviously doesn't mean that even if you "quit" you can just stand up and walk away
All American soldiers are special breed
you should check out the Army Ranger training too
During hell week, they don't sleep 4 hours per day. - They sleep maybe 4 hours in 5 days. You have to deal with sleep deprivation and starvation on top of the most intense physical punishment that you have ever been through. Sometimes I can't believe anyone makes it through.
They don’t starve you.
Rangers starve you, SEALs get a meal every 6 hours.
I can't swim either after hit head and my dad was Vietnam Vet in Alaska that Coast Guard Deadliest Catch jump from chopper so that was fun afraid of water swimming after for year's
Top 10 best tornadoes by Pecos Hank please he's a storm chaser with some of the best tornado footage online
I just want to reiterate that you can do ALL this training and become selected because you're selected by your peers and Cadre.
Teach that young lady to swim!
If your Interested in navy seals there is a documentary called buds 234. It's over 4 hours long and it's about actual seals in buds
Special Operations is no joke... Seals are considered the toughest. But i think Marine Recon and Paratropers in the Airforce are the most grueling because they are the longest.
Rangers are the most physical, and the most depraved. They literally expect you to survive on 2 hours of sleep every night and 1000 calories every day. And it gwts even more insane as u advance Ranger Training at 4th RTB.
I sadly failed out of Rangers becuz i couldn't swim for a lick. Week 1 and I was out. I never went back. Never got back into tip top ship and my unit barely sends retries back. If u mess up your chance, it is hard for your unit to send u back becuz ppl are in waiting lines to get into these special schools.
Thank you. I couldnt watch the last video.
Running or walking on sand is much harder than you can imagine.
Here are some movies that few people are honoring:
Ben Hur
The Secret Of Roan Inish
Deepwater Horizon
Petticoat Junction (TV series)
The Goonies
Rocketeer
Earnest Goes To Camp
Earnest Saves Christmas
Earnest Goes To Prison
Fins is more resistance, so more stress on the ankle. So fin swimmers have stronger ankle muscles.
Check out delta force next. The true best of the best in the USA
Look into sog their the best of all special forces.
You need to check out the training of SFQC special forces qualification course. Seal training is not The toughest training, even though it is tough it is not the toughest. Green Beret training is much tougher and much longer.
I'll pass, Theirs is no reason for me to try this. I like the Air force better.
4 hrs sleep TOTAL the entire Hell week
Discover our US Coast Guard!
Check out the Coast Guard Boot Camp.
Also, US Marines! See why Marines are the first to go in.
My husband and two older sons went to Great Lakes for boot camp!! I went to Orlando for my boot camp. We’re all Navy veterans!!
The hardest part was the gas chambers, red, burning eyes and snot running down my nose.
Hell week is just the start.
Even if you make it through hell week
The instructors can still turn you down, for whatever reason they may think, you are not qualified for further training.
After hell week, the real training begins for the few who make the cut. If I remember right, the boats are over 300lbs. By the way, the water you're in, is just above freezing. Your body core temperature drops dramatically, you are shivering, and shaking, while being told constantly to quit by instructors on shore, who are standing next to the bell, with hot food, and drink they tempt you with. Some recruits require, work done on their teeth because of this. While this is extremely demanding physically, it's just as much, maybe even more mentally. That's not All the hell week training. Their is a lot not shown in this video.
My cousin was in buds..broke his back so had to exit the program...yes its no joke you can get seriously hurt
I was saved by a SEAL one night. I was stinking drunk, threw me over his shoulder and carried me home.... Nemo, Built like a refrigerator...
You should watch Zero Dark Thirty
if you were to take guys from a high school class back when I was in school and compare them to high school guys today you'd die. Like 1 out of 100 guys back in my day were fat. Today it's close to 50%. And those that aren't fat today are completely out of shape because they sit playing with phones and computers all day.
They didn’t mention that during HellWeek, these guys have to keep eating…like every 30 minutes I think. You know, ready to eat protein bars and such.
They’re burning an enormous amount of calories, about 8,000 a day, where normal people only need 2,000.
Thats 4 hours sleep for the entire 5 days now. Not per day lol.
Endurance and more endurance, ankles you Brits if play Soccer or Football as you call would stand pretty good.
Again endurance,at 13 I had a 87 pound pack and weighed 136 and would do switchbacks up the cascade mountains.
Never did military but two of my friends retired recently Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel.
One thing I learned about men that went into the military or did well in life, every obstacle will and can be overcome and everyone has to pull, the weak sadly are gone pretty quick,I'm not just talking psychical it's mental.
4hrs of Sleep TOTAL during 5Days Of training (less than 1 Hour Per Day)
yall should check out david goggins, his story is insane
Let me say this too but I also know that United Kingdom also soldiers are well trained great soldiers
Watch the video
"If you want to change the world make your bed"
React to Army Special Forces the Green Berets
Kidz this is not training for if your ship gets taken out or if you "accidently" get put in a situation. The SEALS are a special force that can work under all conditions and rescue and perform all types of special forces work. Imaging getting dropped by air into the ocean and swimming to a beach to infiltrate. Or dropped into a desert and then walking miles to the target and having to sit for days at times waiting to move on a target. This isn't normal Navy. These are the "SEALS"
No country compares to United States Navy Seals. The Best fighting force in the world...
The problem with the NSW prep course is you have kids at the top of there game physically and mentally entering Navy boot camp. Navy boot camp is a joke for these kids. They get deconditioned for 10 weeks because you got rid of the 800 divisions and put the studs in with the rest of the recruits. No extra PT, no pool time. Then you throw them in the NSW prep course and are shocked that have trouble passing the assessment. Stupid writes itself with big Navy.
Sat net to a seal in an airplane over a decade ago. Really great guy but just sitting there he was super intimidating. Like sitting nexxt to the proverbial brick s**thouse!
pound for pound counts the most
Also you see the guys carrying the boats if One of the guys dropped out the Rest of them have to carry that boat a man down
Delta force is our top force .. look at my picture it’s really me I’ve flown them all
More people die in Navy Seal training than in Navy Seal service.
There’s a bell for quitters to go ring. Crazy
One of the things that you need to do to be a US Navy SEAL is to be able to pull yourself plus your own body weight plus 70kg up a rope on the side of a ship quickly. Think about that. Could you pull that up a wet rope 30' straight up? Unbelievable, but I have seen it done.
You would be surprised how tired a person can be physically and still perform these exercises. You almost go into a dissacocitive state.
They said “No Xbox”. But they didn’t say anything about PlayStation 😎
Because playstation players would only join the air force

@@VWWVVVWVVWWVWVWWVVWVVVI'm Playstation and joining the Navy
💯
hell week is not training!!! it's a test of mental and physical endurance. training starts after hell week
Also keep in mind.... not even half actually pass. Most drop out.
Why do so many not understand the name is an acronym. SEAL not Seal.
That’s a total of 4 hours for the whole 5 days.
I don't think you have to worry about going through SEAL training dude, so, don't lose any sleep over it. I couldn't do it either. I was in the US Navy for six years, but I certainly was not a SEAL. I never came across any during my time in. I was never anywhere that would typically be at. General boot camp when you join the Navy is nothing close to BUD/S.
If you move into movie reactions, you are set up for American Sniper
