There are many Americans, and I use the term loosely, who are short-sighted and limp, but those of us who know better accept the responsibility and are proud of our military.
The US Navy isn't strong because of invasions. There geography makes it almost impossible to invade. The reason the military and Navy is so strong is because to project power across the globe, being we are far from everywhere, we need a strong Navy. The real strength of the US military lies in its logistics being able to transport equipment, troops and resupply anywhere in the world with optimal efficiency.
You might want to be careful what you say about the Strongest and the most tested and proven to be the Strongest MILITARY in the World! Hands down and no lies are necessary, we just are the best and most powerful!
Our NAVY is the exact reason why we are so strong.. you obviously have no clue how our military works.. most our might are on our ships and submarines..
amen, the world would be a mess if usa wasnt the only super power, its because we are a super power that there isnt commplete chaos, china would be bobming the shit out of tawaiin if it wasnt for the usa
The basic message is "Do not mess with our ships, we do not like that..." Besides, British citizens shouldn't be scared because as our "cousins" you have our private telephone number. and family sticks together (as long as ya'll don't go George III crazy on us). 😁❤☎
Yea its not just the military that keeps us safe. Not even our location... Its the fact that no one is crazy enough to atack a country with such well armed citizens...
That’s ridiculous, it is our geography and our military that makes it impossible for everyone to get here so our heavily arms civilian population is only getting rid of other Americans. We have about 50,000 Americans put in the ground each year because of our heavily armed American population. All of the crazy gun owners here are irrelevant and any kind of a warfare picture.
4:01 US Destoryers are bigger than Destoryers of other nations. 8 Russian and Chinese Destoryers ran from 4 US Destoryers when they got close to US waters in Alaska
Over 20 Russian navy ships has been totally destroyed or heavily damaged by Ukraine, who currently doesn’t operate any ships at all out of the Red Sea. Russian is not a 2nd or even 3rd strongest military by any stretch of imagination.
The crazier thing about the rail gun is that the projectile could miss by 15ft or 20ft, and still pulverize a human body. The speed at which that projectile is smashing through air molecules causes it to generate tremendous amounts of outward pressure. For instance, if it were to be shot down the middle of the street and you happen to be strolling down the sidewalk when it flies past, it would likely turn you into red mist.
I think the word you are looking for is “cannon”, more specifically a muzzle loaded cannon. To fire the cannon, one of the gun crew would ignite a primer which then ignites the main charge which explodes and ejects some type of projectile.
6:10 with the CIWS land version those red lines are tracer rounds and every 5th bullet fired is the tracer so theres 4 more bullets in between each of those red dots and all the bullets are set to self destruct after a certain distance to prevent any civilian casualties
Russia has been losing ships left and right against a country that doesnt even have a navy. Their only aircraft carrier had to be towed around by tugboats because its engines were worn out. it was struck and sunk in the black sea in ukraine last year
Which should scare the US since your ships are more than 10x as valuable as Russian ships and you are now witnessing how immensely vulnerable ships are to drones. Weapons radar is designed to pick up fast moving targets, not things that creep in the dark in their own time.
You mentioned oceans as a negative. Prior to current tech, it was a huge plus because the oceans are big, they're on both sides, and this meant we could have some advanced warning of enemy advancements via telescopes or other tech in its day. Even now, a hypersonic missile can take an hour from anywhere in the world and our sattellites can see them early...hopefully early enough. We have relative peace with our neighbors to our North and South. Even hostiles dont have any of these capabilities. Likely targets for China & Europe are Western Europe & Australia. Islamic nations are insanely distracted by Israel but with a side eye at the US. Africa struggles for food and hopes their own jungles & rivers won't eat them.
American civilians are the largest ARMY in the world. Americans own estimates say, 340 million guns. Any invasion of America would be the worst Guerilla warfare in the History of mankind.
The problem is is that we’ve got the best military on the face of the globe, our navy guarantees no one will ever make it to our shores, and therefore the only thing that all those guns in American hands are getting rid of our other Americans. They are definitely putting nearly 50,000 Americans in the ground every year though.
Another cool thing about our missile systems and defenses is we have the iron dome systems. We originally had the idea of it and Israel manufactures the system. Our variant of the systems is called “skyhunter” so when it comes to missile defense we have the dome whether it’s active or not right now.

Do you want to know what is even scarier than the Trident 2 missile, you already covered that they can litterally be ANYWHERE under the surface of the ocean, and they already explained that our Ohio class submarines can carry 24 of them each, each one of those missiles can have mounted up to 7 warheads, which are independantly targeted, so 1 missile, 7 cities gone, and there are 24 of those missiles on each of our Ohio class SSBN submarines, 4 of our Ohio class have been refurbished into the SSGN, and no longer carry Nuclear weapons, but in those 24 tubes, changes have been made to them, and they now carry "PACKS" of the Tomahawk land attack cruise missile, instead of those 24 tubes housing a single Trident II missile, each of those tubes now house a pack 0f 7 Tomahawk missiles, 154 total, so they can now take out 154 indivudual targets with conventional weapons as well.
To truly understand the power of the US there is a key word that every President must respect: “restraint”. If there is ever a time when an enemy forces our military to bring all of its power to full throttle it would be more devastating than can be imagined. Keep in mind that our most powerful weapons and navigation systems are top secret, known only to the President. It is best that no one ever pushes us to go all guns blazing.

Ok, to assure you, the costs involved is not the cost of the weapon. It’s the same as drug companies. The successful weapons/drugs have to also compensate for the Research & Development of both the successful product, as well as, the compensation for the failed ones. Sure there is competition, to keep costs down, but in both cases there are only few companies that can produce these awesome products.
Whoever came up with the idea of flattering Americans for their money was a genius!😄 Americans are generous to a fault, we take great pride in our country and therein lies our weakness: gullibility. Go online, start flattering Americans and their country, sit back, relax, and just wait for those American dollars to start rolling in.😆 I can think of at least a dozens such channels (mostly Brits) off the top of my head. They all love America, they want to move to America, but somehow they never do. I often wonder how much they love America when the cameras aren't rolling.🤭 Only one (Lawrence from Lost in the Pond) loved and moved to America, and this was long before he started his UA-cam channel. I suppose, if I could afford it, I'd throw a few alms into their coffers as well. We pay for their vacations to America (or elsewhere), send them free gifts, T-shirts, and sometimes food. Many more of them are jumping on the bandwagon and who can blame them, as long as those American dollars keep rolling in to subsidize their vacations, rent and food costs. Like I said, it's sheer genius!😆
The M242 Bushmaster was designed by Hughs Helicopter in 1976 it went into service in 1981 to the present it's most common use is in the M2/M3 Bradly IFV along with the TOW System. You should take a look at the USAFs new Rapid Dragon missile system.
The damage and contamination from the testing and practices are a whole other conversation. If interested, google what happened in Vieques, Puerto Rico and the incident that finally made the citizens mobilize to eject the army from their island and their shores. The cleanup is still ongoing.
Not only would an invading army have to face the roughly 2 million troops we could deploy but 65 million armed and trained citizens. Once they joined the fight the enemy is truly and properly fucked. Many of those citizens have combat experience from the fact we have been at war almost continuously for over 20 years.
The worst thing that could happen to the China is if they actually made it to the American shore . Talk about going from the frying pan into the fire .. 😳
You can't invade without air craft carriers. There are only two aircraft carriers in the world, not owned by the US, that can carry that nations best air superiority jet. They can't win a dog fight against us on our coasts, because they can't get their best jet there. And the two that can, are the UK and France, whose carriers will have our F-35s, when fully deployed.
That is such a stupid statement… First of all, China doesn’t have the Navy to get here, second of all our navy would put their little tiny to the bottom and thirdly. We know that gorilla wear fair works because it’s what is beaten us a couple times, but we also would be losing millions of innocent Americans, so that’s definitely not a better way to fight. The only thing our heavily civilian population has destroyed is approximately 40,000 Americans each year, which is absolutely pathetic and stupid.
Did you say that some country would come and take over the United States? I had to rewind the video and make certain that you actually said something so impossible, I can ASSURE you that NO ONE will be coming to take over the United States, We do not even need our military to defend the country, we can handle that easily enough without the military, and let them concentrate on other EXTERNAL problems, with a significant portion of our citizenry being military veterans already, and more than 50% of the country being armed, over 60,000,000 Americans are HUNTERS, and in a wartime scenerio, especially one taking place on OUR OWN SOIL, the word hunter can easily be swapped out for the word SNIPER, both activites are VERY VERY similar to each other, external context is what determines which one of those words to use, the United States has without anyone else even being close, the most heavily armed citizenry on the planet, if you were to combine the next 25 countries with armed polulace, they still would not match up with the U.S. Combined, but even before that scenerio could play out, we have a Navy that if we don not want you to bring your troops to our shores, will sink any ships transporting them, shoot down any planes transporting them, and sink any submarines that are transporting them to our shores, in short, if it is in the air, on the surface or under the surface, the U.S. Navy will kill it long before it ever reaches our shores, ANY POSSIBLE invading force to the United States would be shot down or sunk thousands of miles before they could even have a chance to arrive, and once they did arrive, then would have to deal with anywhere from 90,000,000 to 140,000,000 heavily armed citizens who know how to use their fireams and KNOW the land they are defending, there has NEVER been ANY ARMY EVER, that could deal with that, INVADING THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, you would have much more sucess pulling teeth from a chicken than sucessfully invading the United States!
The Japanese thought the same until they encountered a country with so much manpower, resources and industrial might that it could replace planes, tanks, ships and men faster than their enemies could destroy them. That country was the US and it's industrial might was unmatched in 1941. Today the country with unmatched industrial might is China, which has almost 20 times the shipbuilding capacity of the US. If they started farting out destroyers in the numbers that the US built liberty ships in WW2 then your navy would quickly look like Japan's navy did in 1946. When asked why he stopped at Nepal and did not invade China Napoleon said "China should be left asleep, for when she wakes the Earth will tremble before her". One of the directors of Tora! Tora! Tora! was such a big fan of this quote that he altered it to "I fear we have awoken a sleeping dragon and filled it with a terrible resolve" and attributed it to Admiral Yamamoto as being said about the US.
I think the "tube" you were speaking of was called a "Bangalore Torpedo". It was used to clear barbed wire and you could keep adding tubes until you were under the whole obstruction before setting it off.
Weapons production is all about cost benefits. True a 18million dollar missile is insane, but if that 18 million dollar missile kills a 50 million dollar enemy aircraft or sinks a 100 million dollar ship it’s a good trade off. Currently there’s a problem in the Red Sea because the Houthi’s are launching cheap drones at ships. The drones maybe cost 50,000 to 100,000 dollars and are being shot down by multi million dollar missiles. That’s why lasers are being looked into seriously because like it was said it costs only a few dollars respectively to fire a laser.
It is not. The reason we don't have universal healthcare is that the pro-life republicans, keep Voting against it, it's a voting record that's checkable
14:29 there is a reason we were never invaded, "A gun under every blade of grass"- Admiral Yamamoto (he was thought to have said it but can't be proven)
Of course he didn’t say it because our military proved to him he wouldn’t have been able to invade us even if there wasn’t such a heavily armed population. The only thing our heavily population is getting rid of is other Americans.
Geographically, it really wouldn't matter if we had a strong military or not. There is no country or combination of countries that have the financial or logistical ability to invade without us being aware when you leave your own port. Ofc an open southern border for 4 years and a corrupt office hasn't been a great thing, but that brings me to my next point lol. Our military aside, I'd be more worried about the people if I were invading. Militaries are led by people who may or may not obey orders or do what is morally right, or even what is best for their countries' goals at the time. Also, militaries and their countries are held to the laws and regulations of the Geneva Convention, whether strictly enforced or not, citizens are not required to acknowledge those laws. Our population of 331 mil+ is massively outnumbered by the known and legal firearms owned by free citizens. The unknown, illegal, homemade, etc estimate is prop a similar figure, if not a lot more. The known and legal figure is estimated at around 494 mil, so an educated guess would be well over 1 mil privately owned firearms. Although, an educated guess wouldn't necessarily mean you'd be accurate. No one person or organization knows that figure and isn't that a lovely thing? lol And either way, we highly encourage the attempt, even more so today bc we all know that will forcibly push us to drop all our bs indifferences and unite. United, we never fell against the late, great British Empire
Russia was rated as the second most powerful military on earth until they went into Ukraine and now they’re the second most powerful military inside of the borders of Ukraine.
As a U.S. citizen, military spending of our tax $'s is the only type of taxes I will men very complain about. I'm pretty sure most tax players would agree, even though we know a lot of isn't accounted for in the publics' eyes, which is fine in my opinion since a lot of stuff can't be put in the public eye and it's definitely necessary and in everyones best interest to actually spend our defense/offense
Not all of our tax money goes towards our military, comes from Germany, England, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Israel, Australia and several other countries. We sell the planes too, at double or triple of the amount bigger to the asking price. We sold ww2 ship to the a country, for good price. We don’t scrape our ships or aircraft. We sell it
You are missing the point. One torpedo kills a aircraft carrier.. thirty cannon shels sinks a destroyer. The cost vs the deviation on enemy vestals. Vestils are far more expensive.

Yall better never break up, the only reason i watch is cause she bad
Your bar is really low 😂😂😂
facts lol
Bro is down bad simpin in 2024 smh
🤣🤣
The damage and contamination from the testing and practices are a whole other conversation. If interested, google what happened in Vieques, Puerto Rico and the incident that finally made the citizens mobilize to eject the army from their island and their shores. The cleanup is still ongoing.
They didn't eject the army. The army decided to leave.
Yeah, Russia keeps having their ships sunk.
As a taxpayer, you are certainly concerned with prices and simultaneously comforted and proud of your country's capabilities.
Not only would an invading army have to face the roughly 2 million troops we could deploy but 65 million armed and trained citizens. Once they joined the fight the enemy is truly and properly fucked. Many of those citizens have combat experience from the fact we have been at war almost continuously for over 20 years.
i was laughing at you on the wall.
Honestly, America is strong we can hold our own without our military. Honestly, it does more work for other countries than it does for the homeland.
It's a cannon same as old one just a whole lot better
The land-based night shot was the Phalanx in action. You were seeing the yracer rounds in a stream of metal killing incoming projectiles.
We Americans could thwart an invasion without help from our military. China would have to defeat an army of 150,000,000 civilians with rifles.
They test the rocket with no explosives.
I would love to see you react to rock videos like
Black Sabbath
and
Led Zeppelin
❤
You have to remember, our kids are in the Military, and we will make sure that they have everything they need, fuck the Money!!!
6:17 those were tracer rounds, basically you can see where they fire. C-Ram can shoot down mortars and rockets woth the gun and sensors
You’re not gonna sink a ship with a 25mm cannon mate.
I think the "tube" you were speaking of was called a "Bangalore Torpedo". It was used to clear barbed wire and you could keep adding tubes until you were under the whole obstruction before setting it off.
Please react to the video (why the US is so OP)
Just so you guys know, this video you're watching is riddled with technical inaccuracies. Ironic, since it's about weapons...
The nuclear powered carriers use less than 50% of the power. Each one of those could have a rail gun.
We have tested nuclear weapons in the ocean . We were not worried about the the sealife. lol However that was a long time ago .
Trident missiles are THE missiles that would wina nuclear war if that's possible. They're able to be deployed off shore anywhere.
Something you need to keep in mind they allow this info be assured that there is stuff you will not see until they arre years old
I am a U.S citizen. The reason we don't have universal Healthcare is because we spend so much on our military.
There is a joke (but true) that the second strongest Airforce in the world is the US Navy.
“Russia is stronger!” 😂 you’re funny! 😁
You guys should react to "The M61 Vulcan is a Gatling Gun On Steroids"! You'll be amazed by this weapon!
Fat electrician does good educational videos on military operations and equipment
As a U.S. citizen, military spending of our tax $'s is the only type of taxes I will men very complain about. I'm pretty sure most tax players would agree, even though we know a lot of isn't accounted for in the publics' eyes, which is fine in my opinion since a lot of stuff can't be put in the public eye and it's definitely necessary and in everyones best interest to actually spend our defense/offense
😮 Extreme reactions from both very polarized in terms of one high IQ 1 low IQ😮😅
Not all of our tax money goes towards our military, comes from Germany, England, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, India, Israel, Australia and several other countries. We sell the planes too, at double or triple of the amount bigger to the asking price.
We sold ww2 ship to the a country, for good price.
We don’t scrape our ships or aircraft. We sell it
Satellites make anything possible
Large war ships hull is over a foot thick. That 25mm canon would never take our own aircraft carrier down. It wouldn't penetrate it.
I’m gonna gather your speaking of a canon🧐
You are missing the point. One torpedo kills a aircraft carrier.. thirty cannon shels sinks a destroyer. The cost vs the deviation on enemy vestals. Vestils are far more expensive.
The government has all that than just imagine how many armed citizens the USA has lol, We have to be the most Armed country ever.
