Reusing the bubble mailers is the best thing I've learned over the years
Very informative. Just starting out. Thank you!
Wow man, this is my first super thanks. Means the world so thank you so much
This is hands down the best and most straight to the point video on youtube. Can you please do a video on how you would ship packs of cards or bigger card orders.
Much more intuitive than the videos I’ve watched before. Thank you for posting.
I just began cars collecting and posting videos of rips, I’ve been stressing about the selling/shipping aspect so this helped tremendously. Thank you, sir!!
Just getting started and I appreciate the hand holding lol. I bought a shipping label before I knew what I was doing so the packing tape tip saved me here. I listed a lot of cards before ever doing a sale so I was a bit overwhelmed. Thank you !
Thank you so much for this. It is because of content creators like yourself that help those of us less experienced with these difficult parts of the hobby. I always appreciate how you also share the mistakes you make or have made. Great stuff!
I’m so glad whatnot gives you shipping labels
I've watched a lot of videos on this topic lately and you hit it out of the park!! Thank you for taking the time to go over each step. You put this out in an easy to view/learn way and it was well received.
Dude, I've been waiting for a video like this from someone for ages! Always thought it was weird how everyone just seemed to already know how this process worked. Thanks for looking out!
Got you bro! Glad I could help
amazing video bro! appreciate the whole shipping breakdown.
I have boxes and boxes of sports socks I got at a storage auction, so I make sure to wrap each card with an old sock and put it in a bubble mailer. Works great !
This is super helpful. Thanks for sharing the links as well!
Video of the year.! Thank you again Trike for helping us out
Thank you for this! I’m new into the game and this helped a ton!!
Hands-down, a very good video on shipping process.
Extremely helpful video!
This was all super helpful. Thank you
Thank you so much, this will help a lot when I try to sell on whatnot or even Ebay. This will help me so much in my sports card journey. You're the best, keep up the good work! you earned a follow.
Great video my dude! Thanks for sharing 👍
Great video! Super helpful, thank you! :)
Much appreciated man, without a doubt!! Excellent video, very helpful, simplified and informative! If it wasn't for shipping woes and concerns about how, and the best way to do it, I would like to think I would have already been selling a ton more than just the ones and twos here and there. Thanks again dude, this was exactly what I was looking for!
Yeah if you want Al Bundy cheap
a video like this was needed on this site, thank you brother
Just like you, I learned everything the hard way. Thanks for making this video. Hope new sellers won’t have to go through the headaches like we did.
Such a straight forward video. Appreciate the tips, couldn't find anyone that explained it this easily.
keep it up bro
Thank you bro! Really appreciate it
Great video! I dont use any tape of any kind directly on slabs or top loaders. Even painters tape leaves a greasy sticky residue. Folding over and sticking down the team bag keeps the card in place in the toploader
all great tips for the boys new to this and even some that are a bit more experienced but maybe didnt know some of this.
just started selling on ebay and this was right down my alley. Your stuff is always very informative but I super appreciate this!! Thank yoU!
Really glad I could help! Best of luck with your eBay journey
Thanks for this guide 👍
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen
I use a Zebra label printer. Best $150 I've spent. No ink needed for it, prints well and fast. Thanks for the video!
Very helpful. Label printer will be great. Thank you!
super helpful. Thanks dude
Thanks for this video! I referred back to it several times through the process. I just sold my first card! Zay Flowers A to Z. Thank you!
in the process of selling my first card rn, super helpful video!
Great video Troy. I’m not familiar with pirate ship, but I assume it’s similar or works the same as Shippo as that’s how I so all my shipping for the things I sell on eBay, IG, MySlabs, etc. and it essentially works the same way (and I like how you can add a credit card where it bills all your shipping for the week to). I also bought shipping labels and print on those as it’s a lot less time to simply peel and stick, but I use my regular printer with these.
Thanks. Once you print and put the label on the package what do you do with the package? Bring to post office or put it in the mail?
Dude your awesome I appreciate this so much
Your doing well for yourself, I respect that.
Thank you very much!
I have basketball cards from when I was a kid but didn't know what to do with them now. Thanks!
Thanks for the great info
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video; I'm just starting to sell and this is a life saver thank you!
excellent tutorial.
Your video was really helpful
Good info. Do enough volume on sales and knowing a good printer for labels I will have to look into now. This helped
Loved the video. This is what is giving me the most anxiety over starting to sell cards on TCG Player. I don’t wanna do what you did at the start and sell a $5 card and pay $9 in shipping and tracking.
I do have 1 question that I haven’t been able to get answered. Do those ground shipping postages you buy from pirate ship have tracking on them you could give to your customer?
Good insight
Good informative video 👍
A suggestion when taping the shipping label on the envelope. Tape over the tracking # to avoid any smearing...
I’ve been reusing my bubble wrap from other deliveries!!! 😂😂😂
Do you save on the label printer? What is the difference between EBay label and having your own label printer? Thank you for the video.
Hey nice video. Do you ever have problems sending your cheaper cards with a toploader in a plain white envelope? I've heard bad stories about cards getting damaged or lost going through the automated belts at the post office, which scares me a little. I could just pay for hand sorting but then have to go inside, which somewhat defeats the purpose. Thanks!
Do you drop it off to the post office when done ?
Awesome!
Thank you!
Does the label have anykind of tracking on it?
Do you use the 4X6 labels on the eBay standard envelopes? I guess part of the label will fold around the envelope since it’s a little smaller than a 4X6 label
am i able to automate the handling time and location for shipping? I need to do it every time.
I do pretty much the same. Another tip... any paypal account holder can get discounted shipping through their website for anything they are shipping outside of the ebay shipping system. Cheers!
Hey man, great stuff in this video. I do have one question;
What assurances are available when shipping cards sold on eBay in an envelope? What stops the buyer from claiming that they never received their order? eBay will always side with the buyer.
Do you use non machinable postage stamps for envelopes?
Do you just drop the bubble mailer in your mailbox and mailman picked it up or do you bring that to the post office
I Can say I definitely learned something
Thank you my best friend Jon
Great video
For buying lots and selling individual cards is it more profitable to sell on whatnot or eBay?
Thanks! Because of you.. I feel I’m somewhat confident I can sell my first eBay card. lol. When I do.. I’ll come back and thank you again.
Does the label work well for PWE?
What do list for shipping in the listing though?
Do you get screwed by eBay by changing the weight of shipping to scrimp a little profit?
Is bubble envelope overkill though if you are just sending dollar cards or something cheap? I'm just trying to keep cost down. and regular 4x6 envelope is what i was going to start using.
You print the standard envelope label on your thermal as well? I need to get the standard envelope down so I can sell lesser value cards with cheap shipping.
With both shipping methods (Ebay/PirateShip), does it include a signature, or do you add it in as an extra feature? Sometimes the services can just drop the package off,
Do you require single cards in standard envelopes to be non- machine or something to prevent a bend?
Do people put the labels on regular white envelopes?
This might be a dumb question.. After card is put into bubble mailer, Label is sticked on. Are you bringing it to the post office or are you just dropping it off at the post office or are you just putting it in your mailbox what’s your process when you are mailing it
excellent video
Thank you bro! You’re the man
BRO I very much appreciate this video, I do have an urgent question. If someone buys let’s say 3 individual listings of $1 cards, how would I ship that? Because 3 toploaders seems like it would be to buy for an envelope
Once the label is created does it automatically make a tracking number?
Hey Troy, what's your method for shipping higher end cards that are between 1-5k?
Hi, I am new to selling on Ebay. This was very helpful. I just had 1 buyer purchase 45 cards at auction for $0.99ea. I am struggling to find a video on how to package these cards and ship to buyer. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you!
I’m confused about the envelopes. Do you just slap the label on and it’s ready to go or do you still need a stamp?
Im abit confused on the eBay label seemed cheaper than the pirate site?.. what dictates using the pirate site over eBay? They both print labels in this video right?
Thank you for the information, will try using ebay instead of usps click and ship which sets me at the 4 bucks, around there. Would love some ideas on sending smaller price cards like 1 or 2 dollar, keeps getting messed up at usps. If anyone has ideas please help, tried to do the way shown in video as well. And looking into it.
Thank you for this video, I shipped my first card today on ebay. I sold it for $3.75 free shipping. When I posted the card I did the shipping under large envelope for $1.87 but when I bought the label it came out to be $3.86. After the shipping label and eBay fees I ended -$0.90. So next time do I just ship it without the lable?????? Or what do you recommend. I ended up relisting all my cards about $4 dollars more expensive just so I can cover the shipping cost. Because listing them freeshipping brings more views to my items. If you read this message thank you in advanced.
Envelopes you can just print directly onto the envelope
saved me so much time once i figured it out
What label printer do you recommend for an older MacBook Pro laptop?
I have an older MacBook Pro and my label printer works great with it. The rollo should work fine with yours as well
If you sell a lot of cards … buy a thermal printer… 💯
Yep 100%!
Can you both recommend one?
How about stamps for the envelope cards?
how do you package bulk cards
Where do you buy your cards?
I now pretty much do exactly same way u do it now through pirate ship and eBay with thermal printer . I learned through trial and error process I love the wayI do it now but I can always do it better 😂
Can you do a video on getting them graded
Woop woop I pushed the likes to a even 1k lol ty for the info
This might be a dumb question.. but on the cheap cards going in the white envelope.. are you putting a label on that and dropping it off to the Post office?
Once I put it in a bubble mailer, can I just drop it in a post office drop box?
So when you ship your cards you just put them in your mailbox? You don't go to the post office at all? Right now, I just write out the address in a pen and then when I ship it at the post office I usually get charged 4 to 5 dollars so when you use the shipping label, you just pay for that and then put it in your mailbox?
SOS. How do you change the label settings on ebay???? I bought a label printer and cant figure out how to fit it to the labels
I have just gotten into the hobby of collecting sports cards about 8 months ago and just started sending cards off, to be graded, about 2 months ago. I’ve been watching all kinds of videos and it seems that when it comes to vintage cards, the people in the videos are sending their cards to SGC instead of PSA to be graded. Is there a reason for this? Like I mentioned earlier, I’m very new to all of this and any information would be greatly appreciated.
How do you get the money back on all the materials that used to send the card ?
I’m a new seller so, After putting the shipping label on the envelope, do I have to drop it off at USPS and have them scan it and ensure that it is on the way to the buyer? Or, do I just toss it in the “outgoing mailbox” and pray that the card gets to the buyer? I can’t seem to find the answer on this.
You can drop it into any USPS post box and the mail carriers will scan it along the way for tracking.
Seeing if someone can help me with the math because I’m confused - been collecting for a minute but haven’t dipped into selling!
I have a lot of cards I’m looking at selling on eBay for $2-5. If I’m spending $3+ on postage even on envelopes, it seems like I’d lose money on every sale?
I just had someone used method one and it showed up creased sideways across the center and the envelope had a pronounced outline of the top-loader. The card was 10$ so it followed your logic but it clearly didn't handle well in the USPS mail. I wish they had cardboard for this one. It was a thicker team patch card.
I delivered the mail for 6 months and the new people, and the veterans, do not care about your mail. Just pack it very well and imagine it going through a tornado and then being run over by a car and ending up at the bottom of the mail bin under hundreds of pounds of mail and packages. Honestly! I am not joking.
