👍 on the Honor Flight. I usually go to the WWII & Korean memorial in DC for the Twin Cities Honor Flight and play TAPS for them. Although in 2020 all of the Honor Flights were cancelled. The kayak trip in the mine looked awesome. Close enough to us we may have to check it out. Yeah, if you have dogs, you get a “free gift” from time to time. 💩

I’m glad you spent time in my home state. I’ve ridden those roads many times. Elk Creek offers a range for sporting clays. You can take a golf cart from station to station. I used to go there with an old friend who looked like Heidi’s grandfather. You guys are my new heroes.

We love these kinds of videos from you. You guys are kinda “our speed”. Not ice climbing waterfalls or hiking half dome in a day but you love to travel, learn and explore. Also we are westerners and we like the you-tubers who are in the southwest right now but it’s been very interesting seeing something new. Well done

You guys did a great job of sharing your experience. I’ve been following you for sometime now and when I saw Kentucky, which is where we are located I got excited. Then when I saw where you were staying g I was thrilled. We have a farm about 2 miles from whispering hills. Local feed is great and we where married on top of natural bridge. The gorge is some great riding, if your every back in the area you need to ride the loop area around the nada tunnel. It’s beautiful. If your every back this way we would be glad to share some suggestions or be a tour guide for a day.
We are retiring soon and considering the full time life with our Harleys and just seeing everything our great country has to offer.
Thanks for sharing such great videos

I totally feel ya, Tara. I have a chronic condition as well, that often limits what I'm able to do. One of the hardest points for me to get to (and I still struggle with it sometimes) was the point of not apologizing for my condition. But having someone like Chad (or my wife) by your side who gets it, is critical. I'm proud of you and inspired by you not letting your life be completely controlled by it. I also love watching your videos and living vicariously through you, and your cute little Daisy! Love y'all! Really hope we can cross paths out there somewhere soon!

I am a US Marine Viet Nam Veteran and I think everyone at Bourbon30 is a Marine. We met all h staff, had tour and bought a special bottle of Bourbon that half the proceeds go to honor flight. The bottle top is sealed with red/white/ blue wax. I have not opened it but leave it out for everyone to see in honor of my friends who didn't make it home. We RV in our motor home but at 78 have slowed down now. Been following you guys for a long time. Have fun be careful on the road..

I did the clear kayaks at Under The Gorge a few weeks ago, and it was worth the money. FYI, KY roads without a dividing yellow line are no fault roads, which means no one is cited if there’s an accident as they are narrower than a road with a dividing line. Each party is responsible for their own vehicle repairs. My daughter moved to KY 3 years ago and the road she lives off is very narrow and scared the bejesus out of me the first few times I drove it.

Glad y’all had a good time, we will have to ride the motorcycle next time.

Ok, so....We were there in July of 2020 and it was far from 70. More like mid 90s!! Anyhow. We stayed at the same RV Park, Ate at Local Feed, Went to Burbon 30, shot sporting clays at Elk Creek & had we been a little more on the ball we would have done the cave kayaking also. It was booked by the time we tried to make resverations. Essentially would could green screen ourselves into your video!! 🤣🤣 I am really bummed we didn't get to do the cave kayaking it looked really cool. Great show, we are fans. The day is coming, March 19, retiring from my morning radio show with a surprise generous buyout. We are now shopping for a Class A Tiffen like Phil and Stacy's... Thank God for generous buyouts! No Covid 19 worries because I had it, almost didn't survive it, but feel better than ever now. Still I'm like Tara, I'm a heart patient and there will be days I just hang around the motorhome with a lack of energy. That's not gonna stop us. :) Hopefully hitting the road full time late April. Keep up the good work, we are watching and learning. Bryan and Mary Green (soon to be the Greener Pastures channel.)

Another quick way on the load equalizer is measure the height of the back bumper, then put all weight on truck then pull up on bars till back bumper comes back up to the height it was before weight.
