Great vid guys. The Hobo Code (Language) was covered in the TV Show 'Mad Men'. That was the 1st I've heard of it, very interesting part of American culture.
I was born in Dade City...things have changed. Haven't been back to Fla since about 1990, my family has lived there since late 1700's and my grandmothers family forever as she is Seminole. Last time I was down there...things have just changed...a lot. I miss what it used to be....but that's "progress"
You all would be welcome to moochdock a few days in beautiful Winchester, Tennessee on our beautiful Tim’s Ford Lake. We have huge driveway, 50 amps, and water and boat dock in back yard, twenty miles from Jack Daniels! We are retired USAF.
It's always awesome when you can visit friends and they can offer pretty much deluxe camping accommodations!!! It is awesome you had such a great place for you to fix the water leak and dry things out!
Blondie 1974, Wow. Makes me feel old. Navy boot camp in 1971, Orlando. Enjoyed the video and glad you all are doing well. I almost took that coarse at Dayton U but decided to see the world. Thanks
When you can't hear I don't use CC to see what your saying. I'd have to miss the show to read CC. You 2 are by far the rarest in being able to read lips. My husband can really relate to Chad. They are gadget guys. They can usually fix it all and crave to know how. Tara and I have special care. I have a aneurysem in my brain. It's not operable so. I have days like you Tara. Exhaustion maybe headaches and chronic fatigue. I pray for you both each day. What great quality video you have. We love it. We just bought a 2021 Jayco Eagle 317 rlok. The fun has begun. God bless you guys 💞
I have that same victrola! Mine belonged to my great Grandma.. And the lower cabinet is full of albums A-? And records, and the wooden needles and needle cutter!. Love the volume doors!
Love watching your videos. And appreciate how Tara handles her medical issues. And like the fact Chad is so talented and takes the time to explain all the upgrades he has done.
BTW if any of y'all really want to get out on the water with real gators then upper Hillsborough River is the place to kayak. Alternately Peace River or Mayakka area much further south. You can easily see some with 3 foot heads, so 8ft+ and pretty shy except nesting season or if you surprise or corner them.
Great video! That was funny when you were kayaking with friends and you all saw gators and Taras reaction to the gators was funny. The history of the recurs player radio that was nice. I would love to go hear the stories that lady told you of the people in the town. Glad you went there and silent time with sone king time friends and you did a video from dade city. Looking forward to next video. Have a great rest of the week and weekend.
Hey guys that's a beautiful place but if you like to kayak in Florida you need to go to crystal springs fl. It's beautiful there...its a river that's fed by a spring and the water is so clean and clear you can see clear to the bottom There is gators there but not as many as where you are in this video oh and manatee's too but I promise you won't be disappointed
What a fun video! Tara, I have lived in FL since 1962 and it is still a surprise when you come up on gators! BTW the house be hind us use to be Jim Courier’s Grandmas house. His aunt lives there now and my kids went to school with his cousins... small world. So glad you were able to meet up with the girls for some fun times in Tampa area! Stay well and looking forward to your travels out west.😊
I live on the withalacoochee river north of dade city lived here 46 years. The holes you saw in the bank are plankton sucker fish like you see in a aquarium they are invasive and thats there spawning holes they are ruining our rivers.
We got our Tiffin washed at that Blue Beacon once as well. Also topped off the diesel at the Flying J (which I prefer not to use because they don't give us any discount with our TSD Logistics card). They did a great job and didn't use any brushes per our request. Can't wait to see your videos from your trip out west. This year we're doing New England and the Michigan UP. Next year is our trip out west, so hopefully we'll learn from you where the cool places are.
That's why I was nervous watching Daisy in the kayak with you before! Your reaction is totally me and why I don't get in FL water bigger than a bathtub anymore except for pools and the ocean :D
Tara you so remind me of my adventure in the Guana River State Park here in St. Augustine Florida. My husband wanted to paddle our tandem kayak toward the gator and I had the same reaction as you in this video:) So we never kayaked there again lol
Hello. Watching your videos has been a hoot. Most of our family is based out of Tampa and we've been very close to you guys all winter. We usually head out west right after the holidays but not this year. We headed out to Missouri in April for some fly fishing. Love the rainbow trout. But had to come back to central Florida for family stuff. In 2 or 3 weeks we are headed to Wisconsin dells. Travel safe. Robert Woods.
The Floridians watching:: Aww that's only about a 4 footer. He won't bother you none. 🤣 Great video guys, I'm a new RVer and new subscriber to your channel. Been binge watching everything. Hope you enjoyed your time camping in my home state!!!
I noticed near the beginning when you were walking thru town you seem to hesitate at the donut shop, did you get side tracked...I would have, but I know you are stronger than I. Great video, again. Thanks for the invite.
Probably doesn't fit within your travel plans (being north in winter), but in Owosso MI starting sometime in November, you can ride the real Polar Express train. In 2019, they added an adult only car, which was fun too. The other cars, they do a little bit more to entertain the kids, but it's also a bit quieter. This is the actual train that was used for the sounds in the polar express movie. The train travels to a town that is set up to be Christmas Village. They cancelled the trains in 2020, not sure of 2021 status.
As a train buff, I loved the museum. If you ever get to Spencer, N.C., check out the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Huge round house and shops that date back to the Civil War. They have an Atlantic Coast Line, Seaboard Air Line, and Southern F-units, along with several steamers.
Having a wife with a medical condition I absolutely understand Tara. That museum was nice, I want to go there. I was laughing out loud with Tara’s fear of gators. I guess she doesn’t have a swimming with gators goal in her bucket list like I do 😂 Can’t wait for the Lucille rides 👍🏻
Friends & Family.... two of the greatest most important to be with and have fun with. Thanks for sharing... wait... what’s that I see up ahead... 🐊 .... I’m out of here, this comment is done!
Lol, we often waterskied in Southeast GA rivers where the water is so dark you can’t see your hand I front of your face. We never worried about the gators.
Hi there from Latchford, Ontario, if your this way when the boarders open, we have room for you with a view for yous, lots to do and see here, we can't wait till next year and covid is over to come your way for some winter heat lol, love love your show, stay safe
Cool video! I live just south in the northern part of Plant City. I have passed that museum for years and never stopped in. It was really cool, i need to stop in now. I also kayak and your reactions to the gators had me rolling. I would have worried more about the bull sharks in Tampa Bay! Safe travels! I subbed so i can watch your travels.
My wife has MS, so we are also familiar with the need to take “health” days. It is hard for our camping friends to understand, but sometimes a day or two (or 6) of rest and inactivity is required. My daughter took “bowling” in college… 🤦🏻♂️ very good video! If you find yourself in Eastern Kansas (you’re lost!) I have an RV spot to offer you for mooch docking. No sewer, but water and electric.
It was so fun to run into you a couple weeks ago walking around the campground! It was our first big trip with our new Airstream and since we learned so much from watching channels like yours, our trip was a success. In this video, Tara's reaction to the 'gator cracked us up - thanks for dose of good humor. See you down the road!
Hi guys, sooo good to see your video as always. But Chad, just wanted to let you know. I wanted to be the woman who saluted the pilot and give a signal to launch on carrier deck. So salute to you !! And God bless you both!!!
We wear them but the river is slow and shallow. If we went in, our priority was agility and getting to the shore. But, you'll see we wear them for our other trips...
Oh man, Tara I’d be just like you were about those Gators😳😬🤣 Love watching y’all’s adventures. I know how hard it can be doing any travel, I also have a few Auto Immune diseases however I love camping & traveling with my sweet husband in our 5th wheel🤗
Love to watch your travels, on another note, here in the Midwest we haave places to visit also. I have heard that it is very difficult to buy new RVs right now. With Covid and last year and factory closeures it is taking14to 16 weeks to get a new RV. Lots of people using RVs for vacations this year also.
Leaving from Daytona beach and heading west to get on I75, I swear I passed you headed into Florida while I was exiting. Turns out, I was probably right as you’re now in Florida! Wish we could’ve met up!
Wow that was close to those alligators but those other at the last was so beautiful ok want to ask is e bikes how much r they going for in interested in a three wheel one Sure enjoy you all now be listening for the med beds they will take the world by storm it help u and make you feel great
Dade City has a great festival every year. Kumquat festival
My daughter lives there and she loves it.
👍

Tara, you handle your health issues with such class and humility. Love watching the two of you
I always love seeing you include Chad's daughters as much as you can with all the various constraints you face in your travels.
🙏💚
Cool video thanks for sharing, been a long time since I've been in Dade City. The canoe trip look like fun.
👍
You all would be welcome to moochdock a few days in beautiful Winchester, Tennessee on our beautiful Tim’s Ford Lake. We have huge driveway, 50 amps, and water and boat dock in back yard, twenty miles from Jack Daniels! We are retired USAF.
Went to Dade city yesterday. Great place.
So very cool I grew up in Pasco County Florida. Zephyrhills and Dade City to be exact.
Great video. Reminds me of when I lived in Fla and places I’ve been. Love the old Florida!
👍
It's always awesome when you can visit friends and they can offer pretty much deluxe camping accommodations!!! It is awesome you had such a great place for you to fix the water leak and dry things out!

Gators have been known to flip kayaks! :(o)

NORM!!! Miss you brother. It was good to see you even if it was just on video.
Hey, Mike! 👊🏼
Thanks bud!! Hope to see you again soon, Mike.
I have that same victrola! Mine belonged to my great Grandma.. And the lower cabinet is full of albums A-? And records, and the wooden needles and needle cutter!. Love the volume doors!

Matthew would probably stir right for the gator too, LOL! Thanks for sharing!~ Shion and Matthew
😁💚
Love watching your videos. And appreciate how Tara handles her medical issues. And like the fact Chad is so talented and takes the time to explain all the upgrades he has done.
The Intro with Tara and a 12' alligator = priceless. Great video!
😁
I had the same problem with my GoPro.
I just did a quick format on the memory card and that fixed it.
The two of you are great to watch. I enjoy all your blogs. Keep up the safe travels.
💚🙏

Cool Video, I grew up in N. FL and the gators can be aggressive in the spring.
Very nice sceneries to look at on a Tuesday morning!😁
💚
We kayak all the time here in Florida and gators usually don't bother kayakers.
Beautiful kayaking trips 😍 Safe Travels 😁
When all the restrictions are overand your on your way to PEI again try Northumberland, or Summers by the beach. They are two of our favs.
We love the Withlacoochee River Park the campground is rustic and the hiking and biking are great too. Just our speed

Another great video. Tara, I'm with you, not exactly wanting to get close to a gator. Continued safe travels and good health.

What great city, loved the covered parking. Another great video. Thanks again.... ‘later alligator”
You probably would give them indigestion. Big waves but the kayaks FLOAT so no worries.
Good Ole Fiasco County! I grew up there!
👍
Thank you for this vid, almost in our back yard and never been downtown or camping in Pasco. Take care and have a safe and great time going West!

You never know what's lurking under the water!
Really enjoy yall. Took a college course in canoeing.
