Hi Brian i just bought the Noco Genius because you endorse it
ian young that’s awesome. Hopefully you never need it for your own car.
Yes Brian Eslick did explain everything in detail. Buy watching this video I learned how to charge the unit in detail not just through your cigarette lighter and how you can charge other items. Thank you Brian.
Yes, very helpful. I plan to purchase one. My son actually sent your link to me....I watched another, but yours was more detailed and thorough...Thanks again.
Great review Brian! I love my gb150. I don’t know how I lived without it! The built in volt meter on the gb150 is a super nice feature.
Good instruction video. Very detailed. Just bought this for my wife. She’s a mail carrier. I watched it for myself, but I’ll have her watch it so she can learn from you how to use it. Thanks for the video.
Awesome my car has an issue I cant seem to fix and I have to jump it every once in awhile and this device is a life saver thanks for the info!
Once again your videos help me out! My battery was so dead I had to use the override for my Noco.
thanks... i just bought a 500A GB20 Boost Sport for my motorcycles after watching this last week and does exactly what it says on the box 👍
Thanks for the video! You got it just right, camera focused, explaining was brief and concise. And demos to put it all together. I subscribed !
John Debest glad you liked the video and thank you for watching and subscribing!
Great video. I'll pickup one for my RV. Have a good weekend
Nice to see the gb40 is good enough for my needs.

Helpful thanks
One thing. I just got this. I bought it to use immediately due to my car dead in my garage. It didn't come out of box with a charge. I plugged it in and it appears to be charging. But how long till I can use it?
Brian, i have one and love it used all the time at work good toll. cheeeeeers
j georges it’s very handy. The shop has one. But to save time it was time for me to get my own.
Great video!!
Great video.
BEST VIDEO DEMO
MANY THANKS!
Thank you for watching!
Great video
I avoided NOCO 5 years ago because it was too expensive compared to the other Made in China generic Lithium Ion boosters on Amazon. Now that I've declared it dead after 5 years, and this NOCO is still being sold in the local Autozone, I ordered me one, but I still miss my Schumacher Lead based booster. 600amp and it boosted my dad's 4 runner, and helped my neighbor boost his v8. Lets hope the GB40 is enough to cover all the friend/neighbors vehicles, if not i'm going to replace the internals of the Schumacher and bring it back to life.
I bought one yesterday. When I connect the clamps properly to the battery of my car CRV 2010, the red solid light is illuminated. I made sure that the positions of clamps are correct, but It is stated that it needs to reverse polarity. Do you why? Please help me if you know how to fix it. Thanks.
Very useful information! So that means that I need to buy another one just to charge the battery?
Brian when you attach the charger how long do you have to wait before you can start the car?...straightaway or do you have to leave it for some time?
Great and informative video. He clearly knows his shit with battery chargers and battery jumpers.
Ive used NOCO products countless times but dont own them because my job pays for them.
If you’ve ever been electrocuted by a car battery, I recommend this purchase as a roadside kit appliance. I know it’s pricy but it’s worth it.
I agree they are worth it. Thank you for watching!
Is this a good jump starter for the a hybrid ie 2019 Honda Insight Touring or 2023 Ford Maverick Lariat +. ???
Thank you
yes it helped, thank you
Very helpful thanks
Thank you!
Very informative easy to understand video. I plan to leave this device in the trunk of my car for emergencies. Would you or anyone know how this device will hold up in very cold snowy Icy temperatures if left I trunk of car?
Autowit super cap 2. Doesn't use battery, it uses whatever you have left in yours to generate a jump for your vehicle. Only issue is, you need a little juice in your battery, and doesn't work if there's none. But it does well in all temp, since there is no battery in it's system.
How long do i leave the cables connected?
brian it is a good thing that you do not work at a dealership. there are new cars 20 21 that sit in are rear large lot for months with out being started . I cant wait until the cold winter months hit us here in ny and no of them will start i keep a noco gb 70 in my cart now
Can it be use to charge a dead car battery??
I have one of these. When on a charger now, it only goes up to 3/4 charge indicator. I don't know what that means. Is the internal battery going out ? Should I ignore it and assume it's OK but just one of those things ? Now that you have me thinking about it, I think I'll get it out and experiment with it some more. That said, the only two times I needed it to jump start a vehicle it worked fine. I have it stored in an ammo box with a simple voltmeter. EDIT: I went back and charged it at a different port and it went to full charge. For now my confidence in it is restored.
Dave Caselli I would watch it for awhile. And if it still gives you trouble I would email them.
i have a dead ferrari 458 , i've been told that ferrari cannot be jumpstarted , because you can frye the electronics , can somebody help me with this question ?? is this equipment safe for jumpstart a ferrari 458 italia ??
Yes that was useful.
You should correct what you said about the error lights @4:30. The red light next to the smaller exclamation point = the light that tells you if there is reverse polarity detected, not the cycle light (i.e. when they are not cycling). When the cycle lights aren't cycling, that may mean the battery is so dead that the unit can't even tell it's connected to a battery, which is why there is an override button.
yeah i spotted that too because on my motorbike the battery was so bad the light came on it that window to tell me the battery was beyond dead and that it would never hold a charge again.
How is this jump starting V8 pick up trucks?
RAM TRUCKS yes up to 6.0L engine.
If you charge the device to full 100 percent, will the battery power weaken if it sits around for years without being used?
yes
@@nr3rful why would that be the case?
I read a lot on the internet concerning those "clicking sounds" emitting from your GB40 and mine.
Has to do with internal relay going on and off.
Will those be heard if battery of vehicle is already charged enough, and capable of starting it's engine?
Is it in some sort of a "stand by" when it's clicking?
No mention of this is indicated in my paper manual, and neither on official site of Noko.
Not sure if I am having issues with my unit, because it used to be completely silent (it seems...) when boosting.
I need it on occasions for my semi-stored 2005 Jeep Liberty V6 6 Speed manual.
Very Informative and well executed video,
CYUL.
Hi, does this jump starter works good? I am about to buy one for my liberty 2006 v6, how long did it last or is it still working?
Check project farm videos. Would not start my quad or lawnmower. People are paid to give good reviews
Brand new Noco boost and its not working
its working, just your battery have no juice and the battery doesn't even know it's connected to a battery, you will need to press the override button to jump your vehicle in that case.
they dont work when its COLD outside when you need them
They don't? Damn
Koriander Yander not true. I used it in the freezing cold
My one is rubbish!!
Talk to much
How about stop talking and get to the point?
Koriander Yander How about make your own video 👍
@@HowtoAutomotive Indeed I will. Let me get into my bikini
Koriander Yander just whatever you do you get to the point.
Not sure if mine wasn't charged enough or what, tonight. I hooked it up to my 2.0 16 Focus tonight and it wouldn't crank the engine. Once I took it off I was down to the 2nd red/3rd orange battery meter. I'm charging it now.
Thing has to be charged regularly though ! I made the mistake of keeping it in car and battery died . Then when emergency came to use it for someone, it was dead 🫤
