My son’s car battery was dead. I went to autozone and bought this. I opened it and jumped my son’s battery right out of the box, even before charging. The car started right up! This was recommended to me by my mechanic.

After connecting the clamps and you turn on the jump starter the led lights will chase indicating ready to jump start. The booster feature is for batteries that have less than 2 volts.
I just jumped my 4th vehicle off today, and the power indicator was barely showing yellow. Every time I break it out the initial reaction is complete skepticism. Once it jumps off the vehicle, the reaction then turns to complete disbelief followed by everybody there taking a picture of it so they can order their own. This product is an absolute bargain at twice the price. I'm surprised the jumper cable industry hasn't gone bankrupt by now.

Straight to the point of all the features and operation 🔋 This jump pack would have come in handy yesterday, I’m ordering one. I left my 23 Chevy Colorado in an airport parking ramp, got back at midnight from an 9day trip and battery was dead. Called the parking ramp because they offer jump service but their packs were low charge. They managed to jump another Chevy before me but their pack was depleted. Luckily that jumped person had cables and gave me a jump. 3hours wasted waiting could have been saved by this device I’m sure.

Your car most likely has a bad alternator to go along with its flat battery. The car can't generate ”juice” to keep the ignition alive and the car running. You may need to replace the alternator. I do not know about keeping the NOCO connected while you drive. If you have a short distance to drive to the garage to replace your alternator, then maybe.

I bought mine today and it saved me from worry. It worked right out of the box with three bars. Not fully charged green. The booklet is junk. It does not offer any guidance on how to operate it. The cables have been upgraded to USB-C and does not come with a cigarette lighter adapter, so you will need to find one that accepts this. Your video provided invaluable information regarding all of the lights and their functionality. I watched your video after the fact. I sure could have used it before hand but nonetheless, I got my car started in 23 degrees.

I NEED HELP I own a Hyundai santa fe 2012. this morning i noticed that I had left my electronic components on overnight by accident. my battery was completely drained, barely any LEDs on my dash were flickering. today I bought a NOCO boostplus jump starter. GB40 12v 1000A I connected red to positive and black to negative. the WHITE LED lit up, indicating that it detected the battery and was ready to jump start. I waited 30 seconds. I then attempted to start my car. more lights came on than this morning, but there was no start. Not even a slow turnover. what should I do? the white LED means there's enough volts to be detected, so why doesn't my car start? I've never had any problems with the starter or the alternator and I've owned it about 1.5 years. should I try the manual override? should I charge my NOCO more and try again later? please help me, god. If I can't get to work then I can't renew my lease and I'll become homeless, living in a car with a dead battery. please help soon.
Yes. Just check the state of charge every few months. I keep mine in my truck under my driver side seat for easy access and to keep it hidden from would be thieves.
I just bought the same noco boost gb40 and it didn’t come with any charger to charge the battery charger. Amazon or most likely the company who produces these are getting lax in terms of quality control. Just beware if your buying I eventually had to buy a charger. And it turns out that it’s a type c not micro!

The product is only compatible with 12-volt lead-acid batteries only. Do not attempt to use product with any other type of battery. Jump starting other battery chemistries may result in injury, death or property damage. Contact the battery manufacturer prior to attempting to jump start the battery. Do not jump start a battery if you are unsure of the battery's specific chemistry or voltage".

My GB40 did not come with a Users Manual. I found this video to be extremely helpful and well done. Thank you!
Same and it didn't come with a 12V car charger. The cable included was a USB C on both ends.

Everytime i start the car and turn off the NOCO the car turns off. Do I just leave it connected while it's on?

We have had a couple of other brands and same wattage, the NoCo seems to have more power.
I connected my GB40 in correct placement of cables but still it is showing red - meaning reverse polarity. Why and what is wrong?

Will this actually boost a vehicle? On the side it says it's for vehicles of 6L for regular gas... But I now of no cars that are 6L ??
Means it is powerful enough to start an engine up to 6 liters
