I’m a born again 22 year old Christian from South Africa and I’m currently reading the Old Testament and I must say it is quite a bit to read but I’ve also enjoyed stories about the great men like Moses, Noah and King David. Also does anyone know if the covenant God makes with David at 2 Samuel 7 is about Jesus? God bless to all who read this message 🙏🏽
Could be to show his humility ? Understanding His followers will do the same? He knew it would give them a sense of renewal and hope they needed for their spiritual growth healing and maturity in spirit to begin?
I've heard that to fulfill all he had to become in all ways like his brothers, taking our sin upon himself prophetically through water baptism, and later taking our sin literally upon himself on the cross. As Hebrews says "he had to become like his brothers", so there's so much depth and layers!
1 Corinthians 3:19-21 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; 20 and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours:
For me baptism is about grace. With you accepted or not. Cleanse the old way out for a new beginning. It's something we have to do throughout our entire life as a world changes and we change
It's a shame that so many men of great intellectual capacity can struggle with such a simple concept of Baptism by submersion . We know that the Catholic Church has corrupted it's meaning and the Jews don't recognise Christ as our saviour. Baptism means repentance, repentance means change. It can take a lifetime of overcoming but without it there can be no salvation. It's a step towards it. Keep it simple guys. God's word is not of private interpretation.
Catholic church has corrupted what. All the ancient Apostolic churches do the same baptism. Laser lights and smoke machines will never replace the Real Presence of the Eucharist.
John the baptist was a priest of the tribe of Levi. Priests were in charge of sin offerings and cleansing of sins. Jesus was baptized as priest and became the last priest. It was not to cleanse Jesus of sins, it was to proclaim Jesus as the next hight priest, the final permanent priest.
EXCELLENT marketing tactic to release this incredible appetizer on a Black Friday… just renewed my subscription to DW+ , can’t wait to enjoy the full course on Sunday
Religious Jews have the ancient practice of “mikveh,” a ritual cleansing done at certain times when setting off in a new direction, a new phase of one’s existence. I’m Christian who married a Mizrachi Jewish young woman from a religious family. My father-in-law, resigned to the fact that we would be married, asked her to please immerse herself in a mikveh on the morning of our wedding, which she did. Jesus was doing something NEW, THEREFORE a mikveh was called for. This also sheds light on the puzzling passage in I Corinthians 15:29 about “baptism for the dead” which is probably NOT about a “substitutionary” baptism, but a baptism OF THE DEAD BODY,” since that is what is done to prepare the dead for the NEW. Adventure in Olam Habba, the world to come, the world “above.” The CONTEXT is Paul is arguing at length for a resurrection of the dead ( why else clean them up for the new adventure if there is no new adventure? ) -- Phil the Ruminating Truck Driver with no advanced degrees😂
Water signifies purity. Is the way to say in 3 words what academics feel takes 300 words. It is a signal to God that you are ready and willing to immerse yourself in the Truth and to let that immersion change you and transform your mind and your soul. Your intellect and your soul. Your spirit and your soul.
“In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. he is always in alliance with the Despot abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own. it is easier to acquire wealth and power by this combination than by deserving them: and to effect this they have perverted the purest religion ever preached to man, into mystery & jargon unintelligible to all mankind & therefore the safer engine for their purposes.” - Thomas Jefferson
The forgiveness of sins always requires sacrifice. That’s why Jesus was called the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He’s the perfect sacrifice.. God became flesh. That’s why when Adam and Eve sinned an animal had to be sacrificed in order to cover their nakedness. Also why the Jews always had the tradition and practice of sacrificing an animal every year in order to atone for their sins. That was a foreshadow of Jesus, the ultimate and perfect sacrifice. Many stories in the Bible are a foreshadow of Jesus. The entire Word of God is a love letter to us.
There’s also something interesting to be said about the relationship between baptism and 1 Peter & 2 Peter. This is something I learned from Dr. Michael Heiser, a biblical scholar. He has a video on this entire topic on UA-cam, which I encourage you to watch. There’s a strange portion where Peter seems to go off in a rant about the fallen angels who were locked up in chains in darkness. And there’s a story in Enoch, which Peter and the people of the time would’ve known very well. Where the prisoners in chains (fallen angels or watchers) beg Enoch to ask God to release them. Enoch tells God what they said and God basically tells him to go and declare to the imprisoned watchers that they will not be freed. It is a declaration of Gods judgement on the fallen angels who left their proper domain or realm, to corrupt mankind. And when Jesus was crucified, he preached to the prisoners. He basically goes down and says, ‘you may think that you’ve won by killing God and that you’ll be released, but that isn’t the case. This is my victory and you’re not going to be freed.’ And so Peter is essentially making the connection here with Genesis and the flood, and the fallen angels who were locked up in chains. And he’s connecting the baptism to that symbolic moment of Christ declaring that those fallen ones would not be released from prison. So everytime we are taking part in the baptism, we are playing out that moment symbolically. Your making the journey into hell, the death of the flesh, declaring that those prisoners are serving a life sentence and proclaiming Jesus’ victory over death itself, and then your being raised from the dead and being reborn as you emerge from the waters. I think that’s a very interesting and complex connection to what the baptism means spiritually, something people should look into. I can’t remember the exact verses but I’m sure you’d find it quickly. It’s an interesting connection though which ties back all the way to Genesis 1, the fallen angels, the flood, etc. And that really is like God declaring to these evil angels that what they did was so egregious that they are serving a life sentence for eternity to pay for their crimes. And there’s also an interesting connection to this and the idea of the seed war. That throughout the Bible, we see the fallen angels mating with humans creating hybrid Nephilim. But the story of Enoch takes that even further saying, it wasn’t just humans, they were genetically altering creation itself, even the livestock and animals. Because symbolically, this was them directly opposing God by altering his creation, and making it their own, so to speak. Which is why the flood is necessary to wipe them all out for good. And also hinted at the reason why in the Old Testament, God tells the Israelites to wipe out all the people and animals in certain tribes, because they were continuing this tradition. I know Enoch isn’t canonical but it was still heavily entwined with the culture of the time, and these people would have been very familiar with some of the older writings. So I think it’s something to look at, because the disciples and even Jesus quotes the story in various points in scripture. But yeah, first and second Peter is certainly interesting how he connects all these points. First time reading it your like did Peter just go crazy here and start rambling nonsense. But knowing the context of what he’s saying really brings a new perspective to the scripture.
Another take on this: Jesus was baptized as a ceremonial justification of his sacrifice. John was in the priestly tradition of Aaron (his mother and father where in that line). One of the responsibilities of the priest in the old temple was to justify the sacrifice is free from blemish. after his Baptism, the Almighty Father declared, he is well pleased.
btw, i cannot take credit for this- i first heard Sam Shamoun gave this explanation - it does seem there might be merit to this, when you look at it from the perspective of OT temple sacrifice.
The sea metaphor I think was missed. The baptism of Jesus is to fulfill all righteousness because that is part of the law that needs to be fulfilled for his sacrifice. Jesus himself doesn’t need the baptism for his own rig he righteousness he uses that’s to fulfill all righteousness, this the active obedience of Christ on to the father. This is the role of the high priest Melchizedek
If you really want to know what the scriptures mean, ask the historical church that wrote them. The most valuable person here is Pageau, as he is a member and breathes the life of this church.
Jesus got baptized for the same reason He was circumcised (Luke 2:21). Circumcision was the sign of entry into the Old Covenant (Genesis 17). Baptism, a cleansing rite found throughout the Old Testament, became the sign of entry into the New Covenant (Matthew 28:19). Subsequently, Passover, the sacramental meal from the Old Testament (Exodus 12) became the sacramental meal of the New Covenant (Luke 22:7-20).
John's baptism is of repentance for the forgiveness of sins(Mark 1:4). Jesus did not sin as John recognized (Matt 3:11, 14) ) and as Jesus said (Matt 3:15). The washing of sin from sinners to Jesus who carried those sins to the cross (Mark 10:39, Luke 12:50)..
John the Baptist baptized Jesus to fulfill all righteousness. This means that Jesus was providing the framework for all people to be like Him. Two sentences.
Acts 11 16Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” 18When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”
9:51 id say they were forgiven in the same way any of us are. while living in the confines ofbthe world we participate in their deeds (not condoning it), then he calls of forth (salvation), he tells us to let go of our idols and then we cross the jordan or are baptised in the spirit and made a new man
We are just walking out what has been written long ago... that's why we have the Book of Revelation the Alpha and the Omega the beginning and the end Jesus Christ. James 1 5
because at that time He certainly had the power, knew His mission by heart, knew His purpose, knew fully all that He had to do but did not yet have the Authority. The authority was held by John the Baptist. The Lord Jesus simply went to get what He needed to fully begin His work. That is why after receiving the Authority, the Bible says that He was filled with the Holy Spirit who took Him directly into the desert to be tempted by Satan, because at that time, He had dominion, the Authority over all creation, that is to say the Right to exercise His Power over everything, by the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He was fully Adam before the apple, He was a better Adam. What I liked most was His character, He is Perfect. Christ did not refuse any law. He applied them perfectly although He was above all that. I love my Lord Jesus ♥
As philosophically interesting as it is listening to these big brains one can't help thinking of this warning: "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Col 2:8 Jesus answers the question in one short sentence. Baptize me at this time, because in this way we will do everything that God requires Mat 3:15. The Son of God, Jesus, told John baptize me BECAUSE God says its required. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that.
Jesus' Baptism wasn't for the remission of sin, as it was for others: His Baptism was the announcement of the arrival of the Bridegroom, as He is described, and as the Church is the Bride. One of the reasons we are Baptized is the ceremony for marriage between the Saved and the Bridegroom. We are literally saying "I do." Baptism itself is not Salvation, but it is good to be Baptized as an adult - because we are consecrating our choice to become one with the Groom. It is better to be Baptized shortly after Salvation, and not wait. Some sects equate Baptism with Salvation, but that is an extremist position. One should not take Communion nor be Baptized without having committed our lives to follow Jesus.
Typical protestant full of himself while being shallow in understanding of the Truth... I suppose St. Peter was an "extremist", what a shame 😢 "There is also an antitype which now saves us-baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ," 1 Peter 3:21
Jesus was baptized because, according to the OT law, the sacrifice must be washed before being offered up to God. That's the primary reason why HE was baptized. He had to fulfill the scriptures as the sacrifice. The Christian baptism is symbolic of a death and resurrection, essentially, a new birth. The water represents the grave.
The answer is very simple 4 Wherefore, I would that ye should remember that I have spoken unto you concerning that prophet which the Lord showed unto me, that should baptize the Lamb of God, which should take away the sins of the world. 5 And now, if the Lamb of God, he being holy, should have need to be baptized by water, to fulfil all righteousness, O then, how much more need have we, being unholy, to be baptized, yea, even by water! 6 And now, I would ask of you, my beloved brethren, wherein the Lamb of God did fulfil all righteousness in being baptized by water? 7 Know ye not that he was holy? But notwithstanding he being holy, he showeth unto the children of men that, according to the flesh he humbleth himself before the Father, and witnesseth unto the Father that he would be obedient unto him in keeping his commandments.
I’m sorry if I speak Like a teenager that’s because I’m like a kid. REMEBER Matthew 18:3 Complete Jewish Bible 3 and said, “Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
Forgiveness signifies the cost of a wrongdoing being lifted, and is, ideally, brought about by a remorseful heart: ideally because in forgiving each other we can be deceived, but you can’t deceive the All-knowing. Sacrifice is the devotion of something valuable ensuring a good and faithful relationship. To be born again must mean to simultaneously have all that tied you toward committing wrongdoing be lifted, like the removal of the costs as well what brings about the costs. A sacrifice in the Old Testament probably signified a level of devotion to the relationship with God, which probably signified how much favour you would expect to come from God: how much Faith you did have and how much you could rely on Him to provide. The reason you would make bad sacrifices was because you didn’t truly believe, leading you not to live your life believing, and leading to you not garnering favour with the Father, because the Faith-based way is actually the greatest/most favoured in reality. The Greatest sacrifice, if you believe in Him and accept His sacrifice, should lead you to have a perfect and favoured relationship with the Father. It’s to the point that even if you sin, you can’t make a greater sacrifice, so all you need to do is seek forgiveness for the singular sin because you haven’t accommodated space in your heart for the evil that caused you to sin, you only stumbled. To clarify, this isn’t the same as ‘free-reign to do all things wrong as long as I apologize’, because while wholeheartedly engaging in the wrong thing, you fail to believe in the Greatest sacrifice(why would you devote yourself to doing anything other than the greatest things if you truly believed they were the greatest), and you therefore haven’t made, aren’t making and can’t ‘make that sacrifice in the temple’, which means you haven’t had, aren’t having and can’t have the Greatest possible relationship with the Father, and therefore haven’t lived, aren’t living and can’t live a great life because you clearly don’t believe in the path outlined to live a great life.
The sacred hermeneutical principle for interpreting the Bible is this : scriptures interpret itself, meaning that any topic must find its explanation within other biblical texts. Likewise, faith is understood through faith, from within it, as a true believer born again of the Holy Spirit and matured in the faith of God's truth and love. However, there is little value in attempting to grasp God's wisdom by observing it from the outside, like a mere atheist spectator.
Wow..tell that to St Peter and to all the martyrs man..thats completely incomplete and heretical thinking. REMEMBER PROTESTANT. The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom , not a Democracy. Yes we are all equal and we have innate ability and conscience to understand and study the faith. But we need guidance and a beacon of what is the truth. We are meant to submit to authority of Christ and to the wisdom and knowledge of those given authority by Christ. Your individualistic view of christianity will only lead you to ruin.
Gentlemen, I'd like to share a tip, which I happen to believe should be the number one rule, for studying scripture: Let scripture interpret scripture. It is not up to us to interpret scripture. We're imperfect humans who have thoughts much lower than that of God. Scripture sets ALL things straight. (2Tim. 3:16) Jesus is not being baptized in symbol of repentance for sins, as he had none. Others were baptized before him to demonstrated both their recognition of NEED FOR forgiveness of sins, and that they wish to do God's will. Baptism itself has never forgiven sins, nor does anything other than Jesus' sacrifice. He died once for ALL TIME, past, present and future. His baptism shows that he is presenting himself to do the will of his Father. (Hebrews 10:5-10) Jesus had been a carpenter, but his baptism symbolizes it's time for him to begin the ministry that his heavenly Father sent him to earth to perform.
Mr Peterson, you need to ask to be baptized also in spirit. That’s what happened to me. That’s how God told me I was the freaking olive in revelations 11. Kindly remember to ask this to him and also tell your wife and family. Trust me. It’s the best thing you’ll ever have. No one can teach you literally anything. The Holy Spirit himself teaches you directly and indirectly and he guides you through everything. I am already a silly scholar. I studied basically everything however every single gap is filled by him. You can feel his presence in your body as a person hugging or like a warm hug. A warm presence. Hopefully I will have the option to go to the US. I will go to the skid row I want to work with homeless and drug addiction. That’s my call. However I’m a software engineer and a math geek. I love you deeply Mr. Peterson you are the father I wish I had and luckily and thank God you share your wisdom with us! I always pray for you and your family. 😊 I’m super happy I hope I can go to one of your lectures soon enough perhaps next year.!!
Jesus got baptized to reconcile the waters to himself. All of creation fell in the fall, not just man, Christ came into the world to begin the full reconciliation to himself of the entire cosmos, Jesus getting baptized made the waters effective for the beginning of salvation, the waters did nothing to him. He took the waters which represent chaos, this is why the image of the spirit hovering over the face of the waters in Genesis, the waters being the potential for life and order but disorders potential is chaos. Christ enters into chaos to reconcile chaos to himself, hence the reason it represents death for us. In the fall God created order and man brought chaos into it which brought about death to all of creation. We follow Christ into the chaos waters and come out a creature of order who’s realigned with himself which brings about life.
I think you are trying to come up with, gentiles, when you mention the desert. There are 2 baptism. One of water and one of spirit. So he was already spirit and to humble himself and meet man eye to eye, he was baptized by John. Water is a symbol of life. He was baptized in water to show he is alive. For when we come up from water God sees us as his child.
When the second Christ was baptised the vicar was on the sauce and mixed up the names. thus she has a legal name which happens to be the same as Moses 'full' name, and her hidden private name. As the two Christs are intimately woven, so there is a connection to John the Baptist, aka the reincarnation of Elija. That's the link. ❤

Baptism is our betrothal and acceptance of the marriage proposal to Christ (the Bridegroom). Our relationship with Christ is likened to ancient Jewish marriage ritual. The actual marriage feast is forthcoming. Christ is away to prepare a place/home for us.
Melchizedek is a mysterious figure who appears in the Old Testament, specifically in Genesis 14:18-20, as the king of Salem and a priest of God Most High. He blesses Abram (later Abraham) and receives a tithe from him. Melchizedek is also mentioned in Psalm 110:4, which prophesies about a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. In the New Testament, the Book of Hebrews draws a parallel between Jesus and Melchizedek. Hebrews 7 explains that Jesus is a high priest in the order of Melchizedek, emphasizing that Melchizedek's priesthood is eternal and superior to the Levitical priesthood. This comparison highlights Jesus' eternal and perfect priesthood, which surpasses the old covenant's temporary and imperfect priesthood. Jesus' priesthood is unique and divinely appointed, not based on ancestry or the law but on the power of an indestructible life. This connection underscores the belief that Jesus is the ultimate high priest who mediates a new and better covenant between God and humanity. God Bless!
6:32 The baptism administered by St. John the Baptist was a call for repentance and purification, the sign of the desire of the soul to be cleansed and to prepare the way and the space within herself for the gift of Redemption, the life of grace, the means of Salvation, which the longed-for Messiah, the Son of God made Man, would bring upon earth. The Sacramental Baptism instituted by Jesus frees the soul of the stain of original sin and activates the gift of grace within her, making her a child of God. However, the life of grace received through Baptism can be rendered sterile by lack of correspondence, or even suppressed by sin, since all Sacraments produce their effects within the soul according to her dispositions. But when the Divine Will reigns in the soul as her very life, baptizing every fiber of her being, she comes to possess the very source of grace, she lives of Divine Life; and that very Divine Will which has the power to purify, to baptize, to generate Divine Life is her Will too. ❤️🔥🇻🇦🇺🇸⚕️
I might not have all the facts, but on this panel the evangelical Protestant voice is missing. I have a doctorate in ministry and theological studies, and I say that only because I am very familiar with the prominent evangelical Christian scholars and it does not seem that any of them are on this panel. They tend to interpret the text from philosophical, Orthodox, Jewish, Catholic and liberal perspectives, with a heavy leaning towards imagery that strays into allegory.
"And no one takes this honor on himself, but he receives it when called by God, just as Aaron was. In the same way, Christ did not take on himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.” "I do all that the Father commands because I know His command leads to life." Life only comes from God. So even Jesus had to wait to be called. Until then, regardless of him living a perfect life, he was unable to consider himself the new high priest; like David, he was to submit to God's will even if he had the anointing. Although he had no sin, he had to humble himself to be baptized in a baptism of repentance, for up till that time, God had not called him. Therefor, as he tells John, "It is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." After he humbled himself under his Father's call, even if he was not to be called, then the Father declared from heaven: "This is my son in whom I am well pleased.", and the Spirit descended upon him like a dove.
To Fulfill All Righteousness: Jesus Himself said to John the Baptist that His baptism was to "fulfill all righteousness" (Matthew 3:15). This means He was setting an example for all of us to follow, showing obedience to God's commandments. To Show Obedience: Although Jesus was sinless, His baptism was an act of obedience to the Father's will, demonstrating the importance of following divine commandments. To Start His Ministry: Jesus's baptism marked the beginning of His public ministry. It was a moment when God the Father expressed approval of His Son, with the Holy Ghost descending like a dove (Matthew 3:16-17). Be an Example: By being baptized, Christ set the pattern for what His followers should do. It signifies a covenant with God, showing a commitment to follow Him and live according to His teachings. Receive the Holy Ghost: His baptism was also accompanied by the Holy Ghost, symbolizing the role of the Spirit in our own baptisms and conversions. Following Christ's example in baptism is a profound part of living as a Christian in the gospel today!
The water is the womb and represents a mother. Jesus gets baptized as an example just as he washes the feet as an example. Baptism is the new covenant giving up yourself for God. Dying and being born again like Christ in Christ.

That is a fantastic question.
These videos make me realize just how much details I assumed and never gave much thought to them
Religious Jews have the ancient practice of “mikveh,” a ritual cleansing done at certain times when setting off in a new direction, a new phase of one’s existence.
I learned a great deal about Marion, and the Marcionic Heresy. Thank you.
Marcionism was an early Gnostic teaching approximately 144 AD.
I wish this was going to come out fully on youtube. Please Jordan Peterson, could you make this happen.
I'll give you 45 dollars for a Daily Wire membership. Post your venmo or something.
45 dollars? Will I ever get to see this on UA-cam ?

This is my victory and you’re not going to be freed.’
And so Peter is essentially making the connection here with Genesis and the flood, and the fallen angels who were locked up in chains.
Thanks
Another take on this: Jesus was baptized as a ceremonial justification of his sacrifice. John was in the priestly tradition of Aaron (his mother and father where in that line). One of the responsibilities of the priest in the old temple was to justify the sacrifice is free from blemish. after his Baptism, the Almighty Father declared, he is well pleased.
Wow. Thanks for that insight!
Yes!
btw, i cannot take credit for this- i first heard Sam Shamoun gave this explanation - it does seem there might be merit to this, when you look at it from the perspective of OT temple sacrifice.
Good conversation. Thank you.

Are ypu up to the task? Absolutely.

John 1 says Jesus was baptized to reveal that he was the messiah. “I came baptizing so that he might be revealed to Israel” John 3:31

Acts 11
16Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ 17If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”
18When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”
9:51 id say they were forgiven in the same way any of us are. while living in the confines ofbthe world we participate in their deeds (not condoning it), then he calls of forth (salvation), he tells us to let go of our idols and then we cross the jordan or are baptised in the spirit and made a new man

because at that time He certainly had the power, knew His mission by heart, knew His purpose, knew fully all that He had to do but did not yet have the Authority.

We are literally saying "I do."
Baptism itself is not Salvation, but it is good to be Baptized as an adult - because we are consecrating our choice to become one with the Groom. It is better to be Baptized shortly after Salvation, and not wait.
Some sects equate Baptism with Salvation, but that is an extremist position.
One should not take Communion nor be Baptized without having committed our lives to follow Jesus.
“John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.”
Mark 1:4 NKJV
The Scriptures literally say "baptism now saves."

The answer is very simple
4 Wherefore, I would that ye should remember that I have spoken unto you concerning that prophet which the Lord showed unto me, that should baptize the Lamb of God, which should take away the sins of the world.

I hope you would invite Dr Bart Ehrman!
Pageau is great...but couldn't we get an Orthodox Bishop since the Catholics have one representing them?
It would have been great to see Trent Horn in this group.
I think it was prelude the ceremony to the salvation of man. The Eucharist.
All of this facade of success is okay until there is a real problem.
Are you familiar with circular reasoning?
Wow..tell that to St Peter and to all the martyrs man..thats completely incomplete and heretical thinking. REMEMBER PROTESTANT. The Kingdom of God is a Kingdom , not a Democracy. Yes we are all equal and we have innate ability and conscience to understand and study the faith. But we need guidance and a beacon of what is the truth. We are meant to submit to authority of Christ and to the wisdom and knowledge of those given authority by Christ. Your individualistic view of christianity will only lead you to ruin.

"Becomes sin on the cross.."
Yes. “He who knew no sin became sin”
You really need a preterist position in these. I know it’s already filmed but it’s going to be the new way of understanding scripture.

But God said to him, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father.”
"I do all that the Father commands because I know His command leads to life." Life only comes from God.

How are these guys not talking to Dr Jack Logan?
