The way I see it: The theory of relativity makes the assumption that energy comes from matter (objects). In quantum theory matter comes from energy. In the Bible how God is described is energy (lift, light, love), so God is being described as the energy from which all matter originates. As to relationship: John says that "God is Love." He isn't saying that God is loving, rather he is saying that all love originates with God. That God is the very definition of love. From this I think we can say that God is relationship. He is the very definition and creator of relationship.
Relativity and Quantum theory are just mathematical models that explain the phenomena we observe in experiments. Sure, there are quantities of energy and mass that permeate throughout the equations in these theories, but these concepts never exceed mathematical values. I'm not sure how you are associating energy with love. I have no issue with all matter originating from God in a causal sense, but God isn't an energy.
"The way I see it: The theory of relativity makes the assumption that energy comes from matter (objects)." Not quite. Matter is formed from energy. In fact, it is energy, in a very stable structure. There is nothing solid at the quantum level. Just so many discrete fields of force. As for God = Love, there are many expressions of love, the deepest being the selfless act of unconditional giving of oneself, especially to bring something good into the world. This is what the ancient Greeks called Agape. I think you're onto something about the "God is relationship" idea. Think of it this way, if the word as Logos and God are one in the same, then what do words really do? They create relationships between things such that we can know a thing distinctly, as itself, or at least as it is in relation to us. Then before the Word, there was nothing, as in "no thing", because words are what create things. This is more than merely useful; it's necessary. Perhaps even necessary for us to know ourselves or God at all?
@@Well.Isnt.That.Special Interestingly enough, the clarification on the quantum level actually reinforces the relationship overtones by making even matter itself into relationships of fields, energy and particles.

Out of curiosity, what is the end goal/telos of these discussions? What are these guys hoping to accomplish? Hoping they can avoid getting stuck in intellectual Lala land…
Mostly, it's you that gets stuck. What you're watching is the process by which people get unstuck. There can't be a predetermined, concrete goal. The stated purpose is to explore what each person knows, turning their experience and ways of learning toward expanding the vision of the gospel story. It's not like anyone "knows", ya know. And in as much as some do know, they literally cannot tell you. Lol. I mean, they can utter the words but they will fall on deaf and dumb ears. Circling back around, you have to go through the process depicted here deeply, within yourself, with those around you. It's a teaching lesson, an example, entertaining, and good, all in one. Your question doesn't really grasp the scope, but maybe my rambling helped..?
To daily wire+. Please make available on a monthly basis…..putting out $84 all at once is hard for me. And this is the only thing that matters to me from the daily wire. I’ve already watched the Exodus series three times. So this series is all I want.
I was going to study Public Health in 2018 and changed my major to accounting because I don't like the healthcare system and wanted to pave my own way - and then a giant public health pandemic broke out shortly afterwards - what do you think god would say about that?
I can explain exactly and precisely what word The Son is. The only issue is i need someone with eyes on them to allow me to speak to them so i can get the message out. Because by myself as a random person among many, no one will take me seriously. Even if i've been given private revelation, but that would likely only serve to add to my unbelievability. The Word is past tense. That's all i'll say here
Could be the ultimate sense that Christianity kidnaps or hijacks language, which can express an infinity of things good and evil; and draws it into the highest good.
Look up the beresheet Hebrew pictograph meaning, or beresheet prophecy (beresheet means “in the beginning.” It’s the first word in the Bible. Then connect that to John 1:1.
Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone. The Word of God is life spoken into existence. The Word that spoke life into existence is the Spirit that lived in the flesh of Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "The words that I speak are not my own, but he that sent me. The words I speak are life!" John 6:63 & John 14:10.
Existence is more relational than physical. That's deep. The macro and micro, quantum. Our connection to God, to each other... The connection in that relationship forms it's being. Powerful thought.
The misunderstanding comes because of not understanding the word, and the word of God. Seeing it as a what, not as a who. And in context with John 1, that word is Jesus, but still not fully understanding, nor grasping nor comprehending what the word of God means. Which is why in the old testament it has a mystery surrounding it, but also in the new testament, people still have not being given a full grasp of the Word of God. There is a partial understanding, even though countless times since that was made known, God has always given a full, perfect, complete witness of His word, but just because that has been given is not always received nor welcomed. So we are not talking about any word, but the word that is life and produces life. The moment that came to God to speak, even before speaking the word, was already there, ready to birth and bring forth, into being, manifest. And the misunderstanding of that, is also the misunderstanding of life, and the word which is also communication. Which is why there is so much misunderstanding in communication and in life, and where there is a partial understanding at present, misunderstanding is also present.
I feel it is important to keep this verse in mind anytime we venture to reveal deep or hidden meaning in the text.... Not to say we should be entirely a cynic toward the effort...but highly cautious of our own ego and intellect. 1 Corinthians 3:19 "The wisdom of this world is foolish to God. The Holy Writings say, “He is the One Who gets them in a trap when they use their own wisdom”".
No. The Word Is Christ. The Deity of Jesus Christ: John 1:1-14 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. The Witness John: 6There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. 8He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. 9There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. The Word Made Flesh: 14And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” One Cannot Understand these things without His Holy Spirit’s Indwelling (Born Again of The Spirit like Nicodemus): 1 Corinthians 2:14 “ But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised. May God grant you the gift of repentance and eyes to see and ears to hear, Please LORD, In Your Son Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen. ❤️✝️👑📖🙏
Just something to chew on: matter isn't a "thing" and there's no such thing in the Universe as nothing. The Euclidean conception of empty space is an error. There are only fields of force which span the entirety of the cosmos. No observer is required. Observation is merely pattern recognition. It's how brains work. The patterns existed before we ever observed them. We just gave them names. Hence, the "word" is a very powerful thing, on many levels. When something persists no matter our awareness or observation, that's called Reality -- or Truth, if you prefer. The pattern we call "Universe" will continue to exist, as it did long before we arrived, as it will long after we are gone ...only then, there won't be anyone to look up into the sky and wonder about it, or at least it won't be us.
Just came to say what everyone else is already saying, Jesus Christ is The Word, he was with God and is God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. 3 singular in purpose, but seperate in being.
Jesus Christ is the word. The name of God roughly translate to I AM. When God speaks his word is life and creation, he has no future or past tense, he is un-changing and eternal, that's why the word of his name is I AM.
Bishop Baron's understanding of the "Word" dwarfs all those at the table combined.

Can’t wait to listen to this
To daily wire+. Please make available on a monthly basis…..putting out $84 all at once is hard for me. And this is the only thing that matters to me from the daily wire. I’ve already watched the Exodus series three times. So this series is all I want.
not saying this isn’t interesting, but books like Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki make this look like child’s play
In the Beginning was the word, God brought us a way to communicate with him and ourselves
I was going to study Public Health in 2018 and changed my major to accounting because I don't like the healthcare system and wanted to pave my own way - and then a giant public health pandemic broke out shortly afterwards - what do you think god would say about that?
Jesus Christ is the Word.
What does that mean?
@paulthompson9668 Christ was given to the world for salvation from God the Father. Jesus was God's Word come to man.
@@paulthompson9668John 1:14
Bird is the word.
No coincidence that the Holy Spirit is pictured as a bird…and it is as well a form of Jesus
That's all i'll say here
Jesus is the Word!
Can the names of the gentlemen at the table be listed somewhere?
Accept Islam Mr Peterson inshaAllah
How can they not invite Dr. WLC
SAM SHAMOIUN NEEDS TO BE A PART OF THIS DISCUSSION AND THIS PANEL
Lets go back in time and fix this
nah he's better off doing inflammatory debates
Just imagine! Haha.... with Anthony Rogers and Christian Prince sitting opposite him.
The Word is Jesus Christ.
most people stay stuck because they avoid books like Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, which actually show you how to break through
Radiohead rules
I sure hope John Lennox ends up at that table.
Hi Jordan, one question: When will your new book be available in spanish? Big hug from Spain!
Hello Jordan. If you read this, thanks for everything.
Ditto
Mr Peterson. Pls help me.
imagine trusting this kind of content but never exploring books like Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, no wonder people stay in the same cycles
Wow ok 👌
The word became flesh is Christianity, it's the bridge Plato didn't cross.
Check with Mauro Biglino…. He will set you straight
Eight minutes in & I still don’t have a definition for what “the Word” is. Frustrating. Not the brightest, but I am trying to learn.
I feel it is important to keep this verse in mind anytime we venture to reveal deep or hidden meaning in the text.... Not to say we should be entirely a cynic toward the effort...but highly cautious of our own ego and intellect.
1 Corinthians 3:19
"The wisdom of this world is foolish to God. The Holy Writings say, “He is the One Who gets them in a trap when they use their own wisdom”".
Is anyone going to address Jordan's suit?
Thanks for making this available
No. The Word Is Christ.
The Deity of Jesus Christ:
John 1:1-14
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
The Witness John:
6There came a man sent from God, whose name was John.
The Word Made Flesh:
14And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
One Cannot Understand these things without His Holy Spirit’s Indwelling (Born Again of The Spirit like Nicodemus):
1 Corinthians 2:14
“ But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.
May God grant you the gift of repentance and eyes to see and ears to hear, Please LORD, In Your Son Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.

Without the Word nothing would exist. For the material scientists out there matter dosen't exist without the observer.
Better question is WHO is the Word?
God's word is his fruit. (Jesus)
Just came to say what everyone else is already saying, Jesus Christ is The Word, he was with God and is God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. 3 singular in purpose, but seperate in being.
The “Word” is not Mary, the “Saints ETC ETC ETC” or the Catholic Church @ Jordan B Peterson
Well the word became flesh through Mary. He established The Church to teach us all how to become Saints.
Jesus Christ is the word. The name of God roughly translate to I AM. When God speaks his word is life and creation, he has no future or past tense, he is un-changing and eternal, that's why the word of his name is I AM.
