A ship like that seems a step above a heavy cruiser like the Varyags though. The centrepiece of a decisive battle doctrine meant to utterly overwhelm heavy cruisers when flying in combination with a support fleet of lighter cruisers and logistics vessels. Very cool looking and functional!
Nice! I like designs that fit in aesthetically with the other capital ships of vanilla Highfleet. That landing gear looks puny though - you should expand it a bit because even if HF physics allow this, they look like they'd buckle and collapse before even 50% of the 60kt tonnage of this ship sets down on them.
@@PineCone227_ thanks! And I mostly wanted to keep the landing gear like that for aesthetic reasons but also to save a bit on fuel consumption and weight!
1:08 "Uh yeah I totally meant to do that!"
1:07 That salvo missed so badly it killed another ship lol

Yeah! I imagine it was planned to replace and outgun the varyags in service and when enough were made, the old varyags would be scrapped.
and thanks!
She's a Flying Yamato-Class basically, intended to absolutely outpunch her way through a numerically superior opponent, through sheer firepower

A lovely ship. I'd love to see how it could fit into the doctrine of players.
I wanna like this game... but it's gameplay is such pain .
