Yep, just finished pulling my trans and shifter hasn't been touched except when we needed the car out of gear to pop the driveshaft bolts loose. There's a pin under the rubber doohickey you pull and it releases the shifter itself, and two pins on the tailshaft you pull off to release it from the larger assembly.
Just want to thank you for making all these how to videos on the frs ! Much appreciated
You just made my day, glad to help. please like and subscribe! Thank you for watching.
@@tunedspec1740 subbed ! I’m going to do the sound tube delete this weekend.
Thanks for watching the videos!
I don't know how you got the drive shaft out of the trans without disconnecting the diff, I tried for an hour and it wouldn't go
I remover the driveshaft support and the shaft slid out. Good luck!🤞

No idea, I did this a couple of years ago. Thank you for watching the video and good luck.
I did the same thing to my car but it won’t start
I would check the two plugs on top of the transmission, from the engine bay, i believe there's also a ground if I remember correctly.
You don't have take anything apart in interior of car
Just the some things around and under the shift boot.

I'm gonna have to take the interior apart on mine since I have Perrin engine mounts and stiffened trans mount bushing 😭
