@@Adlore dudes right. If its in orbit its already doing 17,500mph+ so already pretty fast (for a brz). No dropping required. Although dropping off a cliff is probably an all-round improvement to the drive train which has as much power and torque as my 9 year old borsch drill.

A performance clutch doesn’t offer much improvement without power adders, but a light weight flywheel makes a pretty big difference, especially on such a light car. Can’t wait to see what power mods you do!

The best thing about this channel, how stable the camera is when filming and editing. A lot of other stuff I watch on UA-cam, I feel like I'm both seasick and epileptic at the same time, from the person filming the action and constant jump cuts.

That isn't happening that trans won't take the torque of a turbo V8.
@@mbsnyderc that trans also wouldn't mount up to a v8. That's generally why when you do a v8 swap, you replace the trans as well. Just in case you didn't know. My comment was meant to be funny, because a nitros v8 superturbo is a very Australian thing to do to a car.

I recommend the Whiteline transmission mount bushing and the Perrin shift bushing while you're already under there. Just recently added them and its such a cheap and great mod

I just do not know if I can properly express how much I like the helping feet. I’m also a huge fan of the awkward handshake.
Straight up the kind of attention to detail I watch this channel for.
They will wish you upgraded the clutch fork as well. These are known to bend with stiffer pressure plates. Gradually the clutch will feel like it doesn't disengage, until you can't.
On a hoist it looked so much easier, doing it in the middle of winter on a freezing cold floor was always going to be a bad idea 😅 but bench pressing a gearbox was fun
Still watching these hilarious vids. Best part, the soundtracks, love the music and it's regularly playing in my A3.

looking at a GT86 myself and was thinking of supercharger as well since massive Initial D fan and there is no way i can ever afford a AE86 or a 22B / 2d Sub. but the new GT86 makes appearances as a future Takumi in the Legends movies.. which means i also want a white GT86 :)

in 1960 when I put together my hot rod. I bought a borg and beck 10 and 1/2 inch truck clutch(with the coil springs) for my 283 engine. worked perfect. a good clutch is very important.

I think some of the BRZ speed mods rubbed off on me, cause ive never been this early to an MCM upload before.
I’ve always loved the edits but I am quite partial to the older cuts. Always informative and with sick tunes and voice overs. Very entertaining as always.
one of the things I love about MCM is that they are so real, by that I mean they put a car on the hoist and there is still mud all over the wheels like there would be for anyone else. They don't fake it by polishing everything to make it look pretty for the video.
