I am from India and I watched your video to setup my Yamaha with LED, very helpful thanks. Internet is full of waste of time videos. Yours precisely to the point. Thanks
Thank you so much, I almost tust my receiver on the trash after trying almost everything, everything is back to normal and even better ,explained every step as simple as possible thanks again
Let me ask you a question first of all me and you have the same type of receiver if you put the optical cable inside and there's no RED light coming from the optical cable that's connected to the receiver that means the optical is not working on the receiver correct ???? I did everything you said and I'm still not getting no sound there's no red light coming from my receiver does this mean I have to take my receiver back to the store I don't think the optical is working at all because when I had my other receiver and I plugged the optical into the receiver from the television it work this receiver it don't
not totally sure but there should be a red light only on the outgoing side of the optical, so if I'm right there should be no light on the receiving side of the sound
@@donut750 I have a Yamaha rx-v375 ARC'ed to a 2024 Roku TV. Only way to get audio to work was also to change to AV3 and back to AV4 on the Yamaha at startup command on Harmony hub.........very frustrating after a couple hours of trial and error as ARC worked fine when Yamaha was previously hooked up to Panasonic TV
Hello, I am French and I have a Yamaha rx-v671 amplifier and the message "Rom Error" appears when I turn it on. And I can't do anything else. Thank you. Unfortunately cant get sound on Y-RX-A880 from Beovision Eclipse/LG 55"/.Neither HDMI-ARC/superior cable/, npr other HDMI ,nor Optical...((. Other direction /FROM Yamaha/ works, at least Yamaha screen menu...
My remote controller wont work, and i cannot go setup menu. Seems like i can only search radio channels with it. My tv remote controlls sound yamaha av receiver. can you help me with that one..😁
My problem is my sound (Via HDMI) cuts out sporadically about every minute or so, for about 5 seconds. Then it will happen again. However, sometimes the problem will not happen for several days. It seems to happen more when I switch to something like Netflix.
My ps5 seemed to be on while the tv was using UA-cam (not from the ps5) so I turned it off and the Yamaha speaker just stopped making noise. Everything is functioning but it won’t work for neither the tv or ps5. I’m confused on what happened because it was and is still completely fine, other then the no volume
My Yamaha HTR 2064 having very low sound all 5 speakers except wofferr!!!! What's the exact problem? Kindly guide.... Thanks for sharing information India.
DO NOT LISTEN to this person..... they don't actually know what they are doing. yes, ok, this will work, but you need to buy an optical cable..... The WHOLE REASON that Hdmi ARC was invented,, is to remove the need for an optical cable, as they are glass fibre and can be easily broken. HDMI ARC is a very simple technolgoy. this person just does not know how to setup their receiver. google/youtube it... it is VERY EASY! and when you user HDMI arc, you can use your TV remote to control the volume of the amplifier. HDMI ARC brings a LOT of usefuel features, wit hthe same digital sound quality of an optical cable, and HDMI cables are more durable (well, except for the cheap nasty ones lol)

Hi, can I change my hdmi control without a remote?
You can't
TY for asking this. I've been wondering why I felt like my settings control was limited. Need to find my remote.....
You can use the mobile application. I also don't have a remote I'm using the Yamaha mobile application for the receivers
Optical won't get you Atmos decoding
How to connect mic ?
My issue is diff. My Yamaha a2a stopped out putting Dolby Atmos. It worked for months now it just stopped
Using the optical cable limits sound modes. Thanks but that is not a preferred solution.
This is still the same after resetting what can I do 😭😭😭
My receiver is 5 months and it’s making no sound
But beeping continually
I did a hard factory reset
Still nothing.
This is extremely frustrating
