My musical interest: BLUES, BLUES ROCK, SOUTHERN ROCK AND ALL KINDS OF GUITAR. While Beth Roars may be a great channel person the stuff she covers is not my interest at all. Not even close to my interests. My tastes are not to be found on music reaction channels currently.

Jamel's background was stuff that was given to him by his subscribers. That way, he'll show appreciation towards his fans without saying it.

Agreed! Coolest dude ever! And while he is far more musically knowledgeable than all these reactors he doesn't react to the music in a way like you have no idea what's going on and you actually learn a lot. He perfectly combines fun and educational.

Thank you for reviewing Rob Squad Reactions! They are such good people! Everything on their walls came from their fans. They have completely embraced the music of my youth, all genres. As they found new favorite bands and singers, the gifts kept coming, including T shirts and hats. It has been amazing to see!

Rob Squad Reactions are actually one of my favourites, after Andy & Alex (College Students React). I think Jay and Amber, for not being musically trained, pick up on many critical and interesting things and I feel that their different dynamics really make for great watching.
They really do a great job picking up things in songs and they're getting better every week!

I really like Jay and Amber, even though they TOTALLY missed "She Talks To Angels".
Brad and Lex have several behind the scenes vid's where they talk about their place, their past, their plans etc... One video was about them going to their first concert (Tool). I also like them, just for being pretty much real, and working hard to improve their situation. I also like your channel for reasons.
Totally agree, and I really appreciate the "behind the scenes" look at their lives! They are a fun couple, and it's exciting to relive the discovery of all this great music through their eyes & ears!

I particularly love Beth's channel because she's started to diversify her content. Her newer series of doing a full vocal analysis of major singers is super cool, her whole "what makes them, them" investigation is great to enhance your appreciation of some of your favourite singers.

If you ever did another, I'd love your thoughts on the trash Talkers. I really enjoy them just because of how they are just friends having a good time. They try to analyze whats going on and the meaning of what they are listening to while having fun. And they love having people tell them about stuff they don't know, they always love learning about the subject/artist.

Love Brad and Lex. What drew me in was that they really let their subscribers into their private life, and shared their past struggles they sent through. Humanize them. I respect them for that. Have been with them from the beginning. Same with Rob squad, from the start with them also. They share their family etc.

Agree, Fairy Voice Mother explains the technical workings of vocal chords in an easy to understand way. She is very entertaining, enthusiastic and talented in her own right.

JoVaughn is hands down one of the best reactors on You Tube (along with Mr. Video, of course). He always picks up the lyrics quickly, instruments, voice, and is incredibly smart infused with humor! Jay ALWAYS makes me smile! Constistent. Honest.
I thought that Jamel was hard to top, but recently Harribest has shown a lot of heart and smarts to make him equally impressive in my book. Such a likable guy with great qualities, playing the best music !

Daily Doug is worth checking out. He’s a classical composer, and breaks down the music theory of what he’s listening to. Educational and fun!
I like Doug but sometimes he talks too much over the music.
I like this review better than your last one. Jamel, Brad & Lex, and Rob Squad are the ones i watch the most. Maggie Renee also does a good job. 👍

Brad and Lex have multiple channels and they show so much of their lives through there. They also just start learning to play guitar. They are currently my favorite reaction channel but king KTF who doesn’t do reactions anymore was the best.

Love the DailyDoug! He offers a unique, knowledgeable perspective from a classically-trained musician! I also want to give props to JustJP. He's pretty knowledgeable about a lot of music, but enjoys diving deeper into progressive & album cuts in general!
To me Andy and Alex are the gold standard. They remind me of my sons when I was introducing them to my music when they were young
Full-on support for Andy and Alex! I have been watching them (and prior, just Andy) for a long time. I love their energy, and they do remind me of some of my kids, and playing my music for them. My youngest is now 16, and she listens to Queen, Elton, Janis, along with others. Cheers!
@@mcoke61 cool! I started taking my oldest son to concerts when he was 14 He's now 31 and my youngest son took him to his first concert when he was 15 and he's now 23 All three of us go to at least three concerts a year together
I still subscribe to Andy and Alex but I do feel they are chasing the numbers rather than experiencing more music, they no longer seem to react to anything that does not have at least 10m views/streams/downloads, you won't see Camel, Gentle Giant, Can, Wishbone Ash, Slade, Family etc on their channel and because of this they're missing out on some great music.

@@cynthiawhite9830 I do like them and as I have said I am a subscriber to their channel and a Patreon supporter of theirs and even if they are good and I do love their live streams, and their interviews with legends are great, but I stand by my claim that none of those great bands I listed have ever featured on the Channel, despite several people, requesting them compare that to some of the bands the someone like JustJP has on his channel he is much less motivated by views etc and more by the music.

Said it in the first on and I’ll say it here too, Mr.LBoyd, the guy is an absolute wealth of knowledge, he catches things and explains things eloquently. One of the only three reaction channels I still watch consistently
His production is good but I would hardly say he is a wealth of knowledge.. the only people to watch you want actual breakdowns are the third Ernest and Knox Hill

I think Beth has started to open up her world a bit with some of her other social media offerings, little snippets she posts on FB, Twitter, Instagram, et al., like her visit to Ireland and her acrobatics classes. Very fun views rounding out her personality beyond the vocal analysis.

I highly suggest Key of Geebz (composer reacting to most rock) and The Third Ernest (mostly rap reactions). Both do great, in-depth reactions.
Alex, you made my day. Watching the reaction multiverse has been a constant for me since Covid.. so glad you're doing these vids. Keep it up! Throwing your 2 cents in doesn't make you the bad guy .. it shows that we can have variety and different strokes for different folks.
Alex, you rock! These are also some of my favorite UA-camrs out there and love them all. Keep it up, bro!
Okay Alex, here are three reactors that I've been following lately. The first is Maggie Reneé, a Julliard trained opera singer. The second is Doug Helvering, a classical music composer. The third is Rick Beato, a record producer and multi-instrumentalist. Obviously, these fine people know a LOT about music, and share their insights into what the various artists they react to are doing. Maggie is very entertaining, and she does back it up with some in depth knowledge. Doug has reacted to longer pieces of prog rock, and I really like that he's not just chasing views, he's reacting to really complex pieces of music. And finally, I have to talk about Rick Beato. Rick will teach you more about music than you'd believe there is to learn. Maggie and Doug have about 200K subscribers each, but Rick has almost 2.9 million.
I love Rick, but I would never call his a reaction channel.

Brad and lex do let you into their world. They are very open and honest and by the reaction of their subs, you can feel it. Watching them is like hanging out with 2 friends.

You know what I really liked and appreciated about your “other reactors” sort of perspective? Is you gave so much positive love, focusing mostly on what you liked about them, and then when you made suggestions or critiquing them, you did it so humbly and sweetly that no one could take offense, especially after such glowing praise which showed first of all that you were a fan first. I think you being a reactor yourself, succeeded in treating these others with the respect and love that you, yourself would want. If everyone applied the same attitude in society this would be an awesome existence! (Just treat others how YOU would want to be treated) Kudos!
Seeing him give props to D-Gibby made my day! I enjoyed watching him evolve into the man and creator he has become. I started watching him and Alex around the same time, so this makes me very happy to see. Alex keep it up! Reaction junkies, like me, need more people to be expose to.

If we talk about vocal coaches, include Fairy Voice Mother (she did THE best, most detailed analysis of Jinjer's "Pisces", even repeating her growl technique. And she did great Dimash S.O.S. analysis). It's amazing that she still didn't get 100k subscribers. Everybody, watch her. ✊

Brad and Lex have become one of my favorite react channels. I get excited everytime they do a song I like. I watch Rebecca, and Beth Roars any time they do a song I like as well. Great channels.

Great critique! It’s unexpectedly gratifying to see music, especially old school metal, being appreciated by such entertaining content creators. And I need to hype Derek Brooks for his amazing editing of multiple reactors, exposing me to new channels like yours!
You need to watch more Brad and Lex, they have whole videos of their daily lives. They live in a trailer park, and drive a super old pickup truck. They just had issue's with their home owners association concerning having lattice around their trailer. I love them, they are super cool.
What I love about Brad and Lex (aside from their super-contrasting personalities that can be hilarious at times) is that they go into the song quick and only pause once for discussion. You know what you're getting, and never wind up thinking "shut up and get back to the song damnit". Absolutely my favorite couple reaction channel.
No doubt Brad & Lex are easily the most transparent and accessible of all of the reaction channels. I feel I know more about B&L than some of my own family members. Their livestreams are also fire and if you want to get to know them more catch a livestream or two and their other channels.
They don’t have much emotional attachment to music. Brad is a robot. Lex is fun but both lack passion for actual music.
And leave the decor alone. It gives off a nice chill relaxing feel.

I'll have to check out Brad and Lex! Rob Squad Reactions! Love Amber and Jay! I started watching them right before Xmas '21, when I was recovering from covid. I went back and started with the early videos and binged nearly all of their videos. It's been wonderful seeing their growth over the last several months to a year now. I even like hearing their babies in the background here and there. I love when Amber gets into a song and has her eyes closed, just absorbing it. Amber is sunshine.
Jay & Amber live in Moore, Oklahoma. They teach middle school, he coaches and she teaches (I think) English.

Holy Shiite dude, I can't believe how many of the other creators you critiqued are ones I watch myself! And to carry that further, many of them have mentioned or given props to even more creators I like! It's like I have my finger on the pulse of a network of what's hot and I'm old haha. I dig your channel and what you do, especially your Metallica series. Serious love for how you diplomatically and earnestly offer constructive criticism with the honest intention of helping others. You definitely have to check out Julia Nilon, she's so good at the analysis and expertisedness that some videos she's pulling out like diagrams of vocal chords and things, I also love the personality she has, and as an added bonus she's very attractive and has a great accent which isn't necessary for a good Reaction channel but it's an added bonus.
I just wish Brad a Lex watched more music videos instead of just lyrics. They miss out on alot of the reason I watch reaction channels. That being said I still watch them a lot for reactions because they do it so well !

This was fun - such a great idea and you gave some nice generous and constructive comments for all of them! The selection was great in both parts! A few other channels I enjoy are Harri from Harribest Reactions and Nick from That Singer Reacts, he’s fantastic!! JayveeTv and BroAction are awesome too! There’s also Ken Lavigne voice coach (he did a great Merry Month of Maiden series - Iron Maiden reactions, TNT, Like minded lunatics production (really knowledgeable about their rock music especially ACDC, Kev and DaVe Reactions (two English guys who have fun banter while reacting to bands) - Maybe a part 3 coming up?! ❤️
If you end up doing a part 3, would love to see some love for "NicknLex" (prog rock, fusion, and occasionally other genres, really nice young couple) "The Adventures of TNT" (another nice young couple whose enjoyment for what they're doing is reflected in their comments), "Andy and Alex" (mostly classic rock but recently have started branching out a bit - two guys who met in college and have been doing this for 3-4 years now, been great seeing them evolve), "Empress Joy Jean" (she reacts to a wide range of music genres - I was hooked after watching her cry while reacting to Pink Floyd's "Great Gig in the Sky"), and "Office Blokes Reacts" (three British guys who work together and have known each other for many years - they review comedy clips and various other kinds of content, while also creating their own content through their "Try" and other channels.) This is my first visit to your channel and I'll be back to check out more!
Someone who is somewhat new with a smaller following but can dissect vocals like nobody's business is The Fairy Voice Mother, a very sweet girl (20s) from the UK. She has dissected some vocals that everyone else has already done (Dimash, Diana Kudaibergen?, Jinjer, etc.) and I learned something new. Amazing!!
Agree with some of the other suggestions others have made, I would also love to hear what you think of Trash Talkers, Roguenjosh, and a fairly new channel Rykerroad. The last one is two brothers who do reactions, one of them is into metal and the other is into hip hop, and I think it’s an interesting dynamic.

Most on your list I follow, and agree w/assessment. Magee Renee and Julia Nilon are excellent reactors too. Julia is quite technical and good at explaining the inner workings. And her Jinjer Pisces reaction is comical.
I love Jamel and especially when he shows his brothers stuff. I love his reactions. I also Brad and Lex they are the cutest thing! He's so stern she's like "Billy gibbons voice is like leather"! I watch Rob squad but it's a lot. Rebecca takes it apart for us knows so much. Roar, so cute and omg the red hair the accent with NO BACKGROUND but I don't think she needs it and she takes it apart I really enjoy how she takes it apart too. Thanks for the reaction.

Reactors are split into 2 specific groups for me - there's the "vocal coach" - singers who KNOW the voice and are able to explain it well.

I love that wall on Rob Squad Reaction. If you watch their videos over time, you're seeing their musical journey, as they start putting up more and more pictures of their their new musical heroes, from Sinatra to the Bee Gees to Stevie Ray and more. The wall is like a road map of where they've been.
I love them all actually. My favorite is Brad & Lex. I love how they get right to it. 2 very cool kids to me. Would be fun to hang with them.

My favorite thing about Jamel aka Jamal is that he flat out refused to react to Beastie Boys because he is already a huge fan so he wasnt going to fake the funk by pretending to hear it for the first time.
I remember when he said that. Respect. Also Shakashine Reacts has the most Beastie Boys reactions on UA-cam and they are legit first time listens.
I love him he is a true tool fan, loved his reaction on his tool concert.

Yes I agree. I have been watching 2 young men from Chicago. " Raymond Keylow." they have some pretty funny analogies.
The first reaction channel I got hooked was “Trash Talkers” or Rappers React, I was searching a Tool video and it appears this weird combo of rappers listening to a tool song… and it was that to get me. And thanks to them because in that time I found you under “hiphop guy listen to Tool” and your energy and vibe got me hooked as well. You could check this guys. Look for the Jinjer “pisces” video reaction, it’s crazy jajaja
