  • It was an eventful time down in Gainesville for the NMRA Spring Break Shootout. Our 2024 Mustang GT Drag Car was competing in the 11-second True Street Class and the competition was out to play. But we've got the Silver Bullet 2.0 as dialed in as it's ever been so check out how it did!

I really enjoy running Pure Stock Bracket racing each Saturday during the spring and summer at my local Maryland NHRA track. It's fun making mid to upper 11 second passes in a stock based full weight NA vehicle with a few bolt on parts while not costing a fortune to build or having the expense of breaking parts. Your S650 is definitely a solid bracket car. It's nice seeing your NA S650 making low 11 second laps while finishing 3rd in your class. Excellent effort. It proves that drag racing can be fun whether running in a stock NA class or a power adder class.

I was a week in week out bracket racer for 15-20 years and seeing the numbers you ran in pass 1 and pass 2 I was saying to myself Scott just deep stage and run it out the back door cause deep will take exactly a tenth of a second away and duplicate the MPH! Looking what you actually needed to beat the winner it probably wouldn’t have worked anyway but you definitely did not need to brake!! Also I don’t get the hate on this car but the majority of this is coming from one source and he has a couple of podcasts a week and he’s a tuner so he’s not able to make any money off the S650 platform! What annoys me is he acks like Ford is just choosing to give consumers a untunable car when it is purely the government that is locking tuners out of this platform! AkA EPA!!!! I for one am very impressed with what Steeda and you Scott have achieved with this platform and 10’s NA with no tuning and 93 octane is very impressive! Nice job guys!!

Hi Scott, first off nice runs. Amazing what these cars can do. I have a 19 GT with the 10 speed and had a question about clearing the adaptive learning tables. I've read on a few mustang boards about using Forscan to clear the adaptive learning tables to fix the harsh random shifts some people are experiencing. This seems to solve pretty much everybody I've read that has done it and a few have gone and completely turned off adaptive learning with forscan. Do you know if using forscan will avoid your warranty with Ford? And do you think turning off adaptive learning tables all together will hurt the transmission? Thanks in advance. I've been a huge fan of Steeda since my first vehicle in high school. A 91 GT which I modded at the pompano beach location way back.

Is the '24 Silver Bullet a manual stick shift or an automatic 10-speed?

Question for you Scott thinking installing the new Cobrajet intake with 4.09 gear, in my 2017 mustang 6R80. Now it run in the 12.35 at 115.45mph with 3.55 rear gear with Steeda pro-flow intake with 2018 Ford intake plenum (not ported) and your tune that it. Try in to it the 11.90 will that do it, any other suggestions thanks! Scott that S650 in the 10.93 awesome.👏🇨🇦💪😎
