I can't believe you turned that horrible thing into something perfect. 🤯 I'm waving my hand backwards in the air saying "I can't believe she did that $#%^" !! Stunned. The tip about the shellac on every inch, pure gold.
That is just insane, Katie! Loved it in the last video, love it even more now. Also, you have way more patience and dedication then I can never dream of having! LOL
i had these dressers in my former marriage. they were in good shape. i was going to redo everything. hadnt gotten around to doing them yet before i left. wow what a good job. It really looks good, better than i could have done.
Wow, now that is ingenuity!!! Part way through the piece resemble the antiquing that we did back in the 70's, but your technique is at a whole new level. A beautiful rags to riches story. Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting and successful technique. I applaud your patience and determination to create a proper wood grain look. Quite a Cinderella story (the before and after appearance)!
Thank you so much for such a well made tutorial! 🙏 I adapted some steps to what was available locally and it has turned out so beautifully. Please continue the good work. Wishing you a lot of success! 😊🤗
Absolutely fabulous, the difference is night and day. You've shown me an alternative to gel stain for this method (something we cannot buy in the UK) so thank you😃
Amazing how you repaired this piece and turned it into a beautiful new dresser! I love your videos and tutorials Katie! You are so talented and I’m very happy I found your channel.
Love it! Love all these techniques too!! Oddly my favorite technique was the green tape used to keep your vertical and horizontal frame lines clean on the front frame. Maybe you have done this before, but I am new to your channel and can't wait to watch more!!!
Wow Katie, the dresser looks amazing. This technique would be fun to try. I'm always blown away by your beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. Love it. Gale x
You are amazing! I saw the short video you did of the white washed faux wood and was hoping you'd do a full-length video on the technique. This looks awesome 🙂 Can you tell us where you got the flogging brush? It seems they are not that easy to find.
Yea!! Thank you for this tutorial!! I have this great table Ive finished in satin black, but its way to dark for my dining room. Ive seen them with wood top and thought I would give it a try.
Thinking of trying this with my ikea dressers, would love to see this technique again but with the white stain/glaze you were talking about. I’ve literally never done any sorta flip so hopefully they don’t turn out terrible🤞🏼
😱 And this is why you are my favorite flipper. So beautiful friend. I’d love to try this out!
Thanks Boo 😘 I can’t wait to see you try it!
Sweet to see two of MY favourite flippers complimenting each other ❤
You are both two of my favourite teachers! Its great to see you following each other. 🙂
This turned out absolutely gorgeous!! The faux wood finish is awesome! I love it 🤎🤎
Thanks so much! It’s been fun to play around with.

The tip about the shellac on every inch, pure gold.
Amazing !!! Nobody would know it wasn’t real wood it’s so realistic
This is a great technique. Not everyone can afford solid wood furniture. This gives a high end look, for a fraction of the price. Thanks for sharing.
That is just insane, Katie! Loved it in the last video, love it even more now. Also, you have way more patience and dedication then I can never dream of having! LOL
