Delighted to hear someone with same view. I rode Zadra and was like "Wow that was great" but Hyperion absolutely blew my socks off. I'm actually going back to Energylandia in 3 weeks and tbh I'm going (not just Energylandia but literally Poland too) almost entirely because of this coaster. It really is an absolute masterpiece.
I truly believe that first cammelback is the best in the world! Hyperion ‘might’ be overlooked by enthusiasts, (less and less the case these days) but it’s by far the most popular ride at Energylandia. Also and believe it or not, Energylandia actually needs those crazy long Zadra/Hyperion queues for the August holiday break where they will completely fill the Queue lines
@studio732jrl2 been on both and i think hyperion is a tad better, the airtime on the dive loop is excellent too! Plus i much rather prefer the seat and restraint setup on hyperion rather than el toro.
This just looks like one of the absolute most fun roller coasters ever, even way more than a B&M Hyper because it has these massive hills but also very unique elements and low to the ground parts you won't get on a B&M Hyper. It's like a mix of a B&M Hyper and Skyrush, with an absolutely crazy layout that mixes stuff up so good.
I'm going to Energylandia in June this year for Zadra, didn't even know this coaster existed! I think I'm kind of more excited for this than Zadra now OMG this thing looks CRAZY!
@@extrakubik4123that’s because everyone has shitty wooden rides to replace, and it’s more affordable and arguably just as good if not better. Rmc is the innovator right now and even intamin is taking inspo with rmc-esque elements like outer banks and stalls
This one and Kondaa show how amazing Intamin's new variant of their Mega Coaster model can be! It's entered the next generation, like with their LSM coasters, and I can't wait to see more! They're quite innovative, especially Kondaa, which just has a phenomenal world-class layout
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this looked better than Zadra, would run to this first if I ever went to Energylandia. Nobody wanted a 347ft Giga at my home park Knott's more than I did but I would take this in a heartbeat!
I did really enjoy it when I rode it earlier this year, the first drop and first ejector hill are crazy.......BUT.......the rattle was really bad and noticeable in the wingseats when I rode it especially in the twister section of the ride and was bad enough to detract from the ride experience. It seemed like after the positive Gs in the dive loop I would always end up getting completely stapled by the lap bar and then I would have to endure this agressive, painful vibration through the tops of my thighs for the rest of the ride. You could actually see the seats in the car in front flexing and vibrating as you went around. Normally I don't mind rides being a bit rough but this one made me want to have a break and go do some other rides before coming back to re-ride it. Some people say that one of the trains is much worse than the other so maybe you got lucky with which train they were using when you visited.
Awesome review. I recently got into coasters and was fortunate to have gone to Energylandia recently. My experience since getting back in to coasters has been my home park SFOG and I also visited La Ronde recently. Both Zadra and Hyperion blew away my expectations and are my new #1 and 2 coasters. I’ll be going to Busch gardens Tampa and Seaworld Orlando this December so excited to ride some other good coasters.
Intamin just did an amazing job with Hyperion~~ Idk why people don't talk about it enough, but I think we need to give Intamin credit for creating such an amazing hyper coaster
@studio732jrl2 Yeah the restraints suck on Skyrush, and Intamin's new restraints on Red Force, Jurassic World Velocicoaster, Taron, they are perfection.
When will someone bring up the issue about larger people who can't ride because of restraint issues. I'm a big man but nowhere near obese. Qwazi I can't ride, Mako I can't ride anymore. I'm frustrated.
@@tonyjenkins7378 Im 6'4 and was about 294 in April and I haven't had issues fitting on RmC Iron Horse, b&m hyper, Intamin lap bars, Intamin soft ots, arrow ots, premier, b&m ots, Intamin straddle, mack bobsled, gci lap bars, Ziere lap bars... This is my favorite Intamin hyper I have ever been on and also only Intamin hyper I have ever been on🤣🤣 great video I really enjoy your vlogs in Europe👍👍
When I went to Energylandia, Orion was my #1. When I did this monster though? My reaction coming out of it was "this is everything Orion should've been". I personally rate Zadra above Hyperion, but it's a very close call, both rides are amazing. In my limited coaster-riding experience, these two stand head-and-shoulders above anything else I've ever done
Hyperion is best for me at the back in the middle seats. It delivered the best drop and it was not shaky like the front side seats. And you can rise your hands and legs because you are a little in the air, but this is just crazy. A great ride thst may be better than Zadra.
Fun fact hyperion would have been even better if they kept the original design Energylandia gave the fans a choice.... they could choose between intamin layout and vekoma layout Both looked better than the final product...they changed the intamin layout a bit People chose intamin
I completely agree that this is just a total behemoth of a coaster and it feels as though you are straight up flyingin your dreams, but i do think that the wing seats towards the back were quite rough. Hyperion is still a monumental coaster!!!
I was there recently and drove away with this miracle. I had never ridden one, so my friends and I sat in the very front. On the first descent, it seemed that I was dead and my soul separated from my body. It took half a day to recover. When I calmed down, I realized that every second was worth it. :D
I'll be honest idk how many times I've rewatched the energylandia reviews since December coz I'm visiting literally in a bit over a week on 10th of April I'm just so stoked to get to energylandia
Completely agreed with that review🔥 I’m just bit sad that Zadra disappointed. For me this RMC is also a perfect coaster, but you can’t have everything.
Same unfortunately. Beginning is incredible but the second half is a bit lackluster to me. Also yeah, not necessarily uncomfortable but just not smooth.
When I was there that 'annoyingly long queue' was actually completely full... let me tell you that walking through this queue seems like a much better experience 🙃 (the wait time was >90 minutes for all major attractions)
Out of 5 rides I had 1 really rough ride. It was Bandit like rough, it was that bad. It was at the 3rd row left outer seat. 5 minutes before I was on the 2nd row left outer seat and it was glass smooth. Same train as it was on 1 train. That being said Hyperion is still a great ride!
I don't know but this mighty be the review I disagree the most with. I feel like after the dive loop the wing seats are just super rough, the airtime hill after the dive loop basically does nothing and the low to the ground elements only hit in the front row. I must agree that the drop and first airtime hill are a 10/10 though.
I'm afraid of heights, but I'd love to ride Hyperion! This summer I experienced Kondaa at Walibi Belgium and I loved it! Greetings from the Netherlands...

This thing looks incredible, layout reminds me of Superman at SFNE with how it's an out and back in the first half and the second half is more of a twister. I love Superman and this seems like it's way better, especially in the restraints department.
I did enjoy this coaster, unfortunately im waiting some minor surgery and this was just a bit painful for me so i only rode 3 times during my 3 day visit. Loved the first drop and i cant wait for a future hopefully less painful ride!
Funny how the dude who made a movie-length documentary on RMC would wind up thinking the RMC that many consider to be the greatest coaster on Earth would be overrated, and the Intamin right next door would be the best in the park. But as a diehard Intamin fanboy, I approve of this decision
If it wasn't as jolty as it is on the back left, it would 110% be my number 1. It just that it kills your legs and gives you the worse headache. When I went to EL I had one of the best ride I had ever had on a coaster on the front and one of the worse experiences on the back, IN THE SAME DAY

Oh, shame that the splash effect was off. They turn it off during colder days. However, it shoots the water up just before the train passes, so the riders get splashed just before the train stops on the brake run.
