Zadra is literally a beast. This thing rips through its layout. RMC always delivers. (Unless if you count those awful Skyloops but that’s not just RMC’s fault.)
Did it last month 6 times in a row in about 1,5 hours ..without ever having to do the whole queue area again !! They now let you simply walk around the lockers when it is not busy .. takes a minute! Of course, the park was almost deserted this day :)
Zadra just looks so relentless; it's great to hear it rides as well as it looks! These ground-up RMCs really feel like the designers having complete creative control without having a pre-existing footprint to worry about.
We rode Zadra during energylandia’s Halloween weekend this year, and the ‘magic night’ rides were insane! The first time we rode, and we slammed into the brake run even faster than that on Lrod’s, I was literally speechless. Could not believe just how fast Zadra gets through its layout. By the time the 5 of us left, we all had Zadra above Vengeance. Yes, vengeance is longer and all, but what Zadra does, it does to absolute perfection.
Got 4 rides on it today. Agree with everything you said. It’s my first RMC and wow what a way to make me a fan. Unreal speed, forces and smoothness. Top coaster easily.
The ride looks so amazing! it's great to hear that it hit the mark that I hoped it would. But that ridiculously long queue and dumb loading procedure would be so frustrating to me.
OML!!! This is a gorgeous coaster! That beautiful timber "forest" with elegant track layout. Trains traveling through "delicious" curves, inversions, and hills! Yes! We need a few of these "state side"

We all heard it before, Zadra is an amazing ride. So much airtime and it's an RMC like come on. One thing about Zadra I think RMCed mastered was the layout. It's the perfect length and the series of elements is perfection as well. It mixes different elements together and you don't know what you will go threw next. That's one thing that makes it so great.
Honestly, Zadra looks like it may very well be the best RMC, but Hakugei also looks magnificent. I can't wait for more ground-up hybrids from RMC cuz this is amazing

I've done Zadra 2 weeks ago. First ride of the day, was Zadra backseat. From all 3 European RMC's it has the most insane ride overall. But still Wildfire has the overall better package, because of it's awesome location in the middle of the woods.
been to energylandia 3 times now. After over 16 rides on Zadra, i can safely say this is INSANE. On a rainy day it felt like i was the victim of a firing squad. Ive only been on like 70 coasters, however Zadra remains my top. (hyperion is also absolutely unbelievable. The fact i can get to poland for £200 , flight, hotel (krakow) and ticket, makes it so re visitable for me.
My top 3 RMC's are Steel Vengeance, Wicked Cyclone, and Goliath. Though I think if I rode Zadra and Gwazi, they would take the top spots next to SV lol. Thanks for this review
Zadra is definitly a top 10 coaster for me. This ride is amazing. But the queue line broke if for me. I was short of breath on that day because I had still a light cold and couldn't sleep because of it. I made so many steps despite the low wait times. I wish I could have gotten more rides in but that queue line really puts a damper on the experience. It's still one of my favorites.
I just went today, my first RMC, and easily my new #1. Park had pretty high crowds with several school trips, but zadra only running one train. An advertised 10 minute wait took 50 minutes :(

Great review! Been on 15 RMC's, but only in the US. This one looks real good. I would think it is a Top 3-4 RMC without question. I would assume you agree. Do you think the drop is better than Iron Rattler which I feel has the best drop of any RMC I have been on.

I followed your tip and headed straight there at park opening, and I got several rides with it as a walk-on (they'd opened up a door at the lockers so you didn't have to go all the way round). Having read so much about how amazing RMCs were I was perhaps a victim of hype, and was perhaps a little underwhelmed that it was just a very good roller coaster rather than some amazing, life-changing experience. However it got even better in the afternoon and was positively flying along, which took it from "very good" to "spectacular" for me.

So the best pacing I've experienced is Lightning Rod. How does this compare? It sounds like Zadra is a more well rounded coaster but there is just something about Lightning Rod that I love. The adrenaline feels insane.
The turnstile set-up I was talking about is not the usual turnstile. Rather, I was talking about the automatic turnstiles with monitors. And I was asking you how many other rides and coasters at Energylandia and other parks across the world do you know with this loading system?
Went to Energylandia last week and Zadra is incredible, got a night ride that was out of this world. However would say Hyperion whilst not as good is very underrated, middle seat in the front row is mind blowing.
You are right, my favorite seat on Hyperion was also front row in the middle, simply because your feet doesn't touch the ground. Amazing feeling! If I had to sit on the outside, I chose the left one. It makes the dive loop so intens. Just a great coaster! Although I liked both very much, I tend more to Hyperion. 🥰
I prefer Wildfire as the best European RMC, because of its location. But Zadra is a very very very close second, because it's a total beast of a ride. But Untamed is a huge surprise. It's only a small coaster but still kicks ass big time.
Im not sure if i remember correctly, but i went to energylandia during summer last year, and next to the entrance i think i saw something that said "Best rollercoaster of 2018" wich is very interesting considering it opened in 2019 but i movht be wrong
@@CanobieCoaster wow, it truly felt like a pothole. The rest of the ride is glass smooth, but this specific point really stood out. I too believe the ride could and should have been longer.
The queue and loading process puts me into a confused rage just watching this. I know you forget about it once you get on the ride, but to re-ride might be less common (which is why I think they do this)

When it's quiet they open a gate next to the lockers which is a huge short cut - it might take about a minute to get back round. I didn't see them let anyone stay on even when there weren't enough people queueing to fill the train.
I had a better experience on Hyperion, probably because I personally think its more reridable. I think overall Zadra is better, but I would still rate Hyperion better. Then again all my rides were a walk on so I could reride super quickly. The staff at Zadra at the day I was there did not enjoy their job at all. They were only running one train, but still wanted to get through the seats as quickly as possible and put waay to much pressure on the lapbars which stapled my gf. They also told her to not put her belly out so much, while she wasn't, really quite rude imo. Kind of a shame :c
Where trains have already cleared the course before the next train is dispatched, thus they ‘stack’ outside the station waiting for the station to clear
The steel truss makes the ride look so much more clean and scary,in my opinion at least,but that queue and the turn-styles look like a nightmare,7 minutes of walking just to get to the turn-styles,then the boarding system is so confusing to me,I don’t know why it’s so different from most queues in America,and a 6 operator crew is something I have never seen before
This ride looks to be great like Iron Gwazi, but it is a shame that not many coaster enthusiasts can come out here. Energylandia has expanded a lot, so it doesn't surprise me that they wanted to go for a world-class RMC, but it is stupid that they made the false lift height claim and the stupid queue systems. I really got to say that if the queue frustrates you enough, you might not wanna ride. I myself get frustrated very easily, but I would still ride Zadra. Zadra looks to be super similar to Iron Gwazi, and hats off to RMC for making this amazing creation!!
Does anyone know why zadra is called "zadra"? In Polish, zadra is the same as a splinter.. This may mean literal, but it can also mean that it can get into the skin pretty well. :))
I wish there had made it a bit longer that it loses more speed natural to the end. Compared to the old coasters it feels like the new ones waist a lot of energy in to breaks st the end

Zadra is incredible. It's definitely in my top 10 steel. It's borderline top 5 steel for me.

It's definitely difficult to reride this coaster quickly. The turnstile process can help single riders if you aren't picky about a specific seat.

Not for me, but I could see it for some people.

Where trains have already cleared the course before the next train is dispatched, thus they ‘stack’ outside the station waiting for the station to clear
"Stacking" is where a train that's just completed the circuit has to wait outside the station for the train inside to finish loading.
As others said, when a train stops on the brake run because the train ahead of it hasn't been dispatched.

The steel truss makes the ride look so much more clean and scary,in my opinion at least,but that queue and the turn-styles look like a nightmare,7 minutes of walking just to get to the turn-styles,then the boarding system is so confusing to me,I don’t know why it’s so different from most queues in America,and a 6 operator crew is something I have never seen before
I like the look of the ride. The crew is lightning fast.
This ride looks to be great like Iron Gwazi, but it is a shame that not many coaster enthusiasts can come out here. Energylandia has expanded a lot, so it doesn't surprise me that they wanted to go for a world-class RMC, but it is stupid that they made the false lift height claim and the stupid queue systems. I really got to say that if the queue frustrates you enough, you might not wanna ride. I myself get frustrated very easily, but I would still ride Zadra. Zadra looks to be super similar to Iron Gwazi, and hats off to RMC for making this amazing creation!!
The queue while annoying was worth it for a great ride.
Does anyone know why zadra is called "zadra"? In Polish, zadra is the same as a splinter.. This may mean literal, but it can also mean that it can get into the skin pretty well. :))
I think it was meant to denote the wood structure.

I wish there had made it a bit longer that it loses more speed natural to the end. Compared to the old coasters it feels like the new ones waist a lot of energy in to breaks st the end

If I remember correctly it was splinter. The ride doesn't really have any theming outside of the theme music having a medieval twinge to it.
This would be a great coaster for Six Flags Great Adventure.

Just because I think Steel Vengeance is better than Zadra doesn't mean I regret going to Energylandia. I liked how Zadra felt different.
